Small Character Poll

Apologies for the bit of radio silence these last few weeks, I took a vacation to visit my girlfriend. It was my first international trip in years so it took a fair bit of preparation and obviously I had other things on my mind once I was there.
I was also bullied by many of you guys on discord to make sure I took that break instead of working during downtime, so blame Argun. Or thank him, depending on your disposition.
With book 10 of The Fallen World starting up, I wanted to know if there were any characters you'd like to see more of/have an update on, as it's the perfect time to have that. That way I can give them some time in the spotlight, maybe even write a whole chapter about them.
Similarly to the previous polls, write or like a comment of any characters you'd want to see more of, and in a few days I'll look up which comments have the most likes to see which characters you guys would prefer to see.
One last thing, chapters 12 through 17 of Manaforged Robotics have been written (the train rides were VERY long), I'll start uploading them once I'm fully settled back in at home.

Ooh! Since they were introduced, I've been waiting for Alexandra to adopt some Janny (ies?) Into the dungeon. Those would be very small characters!

2025-01-15 05:06:41 +0000 UTCAs with (most?) serial fictions, we have loose ends tied to seemingly obvious foreshadowing growing in number faster than resolutions. In the same vein as the teleport talisman, we initially found that even with that impressive ability, she lacks basic teleporter knowledge. Then she captured and made useful a space mage.... Edit: To be clear, not trying to criticize; just pointing out it's something of a format tendency.

2025-01-12 20:55:29 +0000 UTCActually, the characters I feel we've missed the view of the most in recent events is the king and queen of Asaria. Early on we had a good idea of what's going on with them. A revisit of their court, especially following Allyah's address in the last chapter seems due.

2025-01-05 19:10:40 +0000 UTCUnlike others, I haven't thought of Casisa as a small character, but more a player on ice. If not time for her arc to progress, he day to day should be relatively boring. What's got me wound up is the effects of Rook's ritual. I've been assuming (shaped by the beginning of the first book mostly) that a decent amount of this civilization is running on more genteel variations on slavery, with people trapped in magical contracts of one form or another. There's definitely room for small characters in what this change to the very nature of magic means around the continent and the world at large.

2025-01-05 03:56:13 +0000 UTCBeyond what everyone else already shared, I'd love to know what is up with the Adventurer's guild leadership and (perhaps a less serious chapter) from the bar the crew no longer has time to visit. There is also a certain pirate I'd love more on, but I suspect it we will get more of her when plot develops more.

And seconding the request for the tame Archmage to get some screentime. Could be neat to see them piloting a mid-boss or something to blow off steam after research.

They were mentioned as "DO NOT TOUCH ON PAIN OF ANNIHILATION", but it'd be nice to see Alex actually let them know she's okay either directly or indirectly, or bring them in to be eyes and ears as "Oh look at us, we're just normal adventurers!" in locations like the Sapphire kingdom
