Patreon going forward and The Dragon Realm

Hello everyone ! I think it's time to have a little chat.

For those of you that have missed my announcement on RR on The Fallen World : A Dungeon's Story, I have accepted the offer of a Publisher, Shadow Alley Press, and I have begun the process of turning my stories into proper novels for publishing.

This switch means several things for patreon. The first one is that yes, when the books are published (and ONLY when they are published) all chapters, bar the introductions, which are part of the book being published will be deleted off of patreon.

I also intend to very much continue posting on patreon, with chapters from new and old stories, possibly including some I would not put on RR at any point (although there are no plans for any story that won't be on RR at any point yet, including for The Dragon Realm).

The next one is that I want to turn away from the webnovel format. I'm a burst writer, if you've seen how I post chapter on patreon, you know that better than anyone. I tend to write a clump of chapters for one story and then post them one per day at a time on patreon. The problem for the webnovel format is that it demands regular updates, and meant that I had to force myself to write for stories I wanted to leave aside for a bit, like The Fallen World : A Dungeon's Story, and lead to repeated burnouts. I would very much like to avoid that in the future.

Thus, going forward, I simply cannot guarantee regular (ish) updates to the stories posted here. I wasn't able to already mind you, but I just want to make it clear to everyone. That doesn't mean that they won't be updated at all, just that I can't guarantee new chapters every month for any particular story.

But, it should be noted that with the university year coming to an end, and my intent to take a sabbatical year to give myself a shot at writing for a living, I will have vastly more time to write than ever before, AND massively less stress when going about it, which has already produced impressive results, which you'll see in the next point.

Lastly is The Dragon Realm. For those of you that remember, a long time ago I had started another story project, the Dragon Holds, which I ended up dropping. It was too similar to The Fallen World, and I didn't want to exhaust myself writing stories this similar. But after signing up with SAP, they helped me put into place and then start writing a remaster of that story, The Dragon Realm. I wrote 40k words for it in five days. The first 30k words were done in three days alone. Over a week ? 45k words. That is 15 chapters and a chunk of chapter 16, plus a sizeable prologue (although not as sizeable as The Fallen World, don't worry). To put this into perspective, my absolute record previously was the prologue for The Fallen World, which was 21k words long and written in a week. After that I never managed to write more than 15k words in a week, and only went about 10k during holidays.

Thus, I am going to post The Dragon Realm here. Note that the story is built from the get go to be in a novel format, and will eventually get published and thus most of the chapters will be deleted off of patreon. I will post a chapter every day until I run out of chapters in my files, and then follow the same cycles as my other stories (as soon as my Keepers have given me their opinion and corrections, I begin the upload process at the rythm of one chapter a day). If, IF I sustain a rythm where I'm writing more than seven chapters a week, I'll put up a poll so you can vote on options for solving the problem. As with The Eternal Seeker Saga before it was posted on RR, the librarians will only have access to the first three chapters (Prologue, chapter 1 and chapter 2). I hope you'll enjoy that story has much as you have enjoyed the others ! In case you are wondering, The Dragon Realm is a sci-fi, fantasy and isekai story, about a retired naval officer and her AI being transported into a fantasy world at the behest of a mysterious mercenary contractor of the multiverse.
