[Status Update]

I'll be posting chapters again starting on Wednesday of next week (Nov. 6th).
My little break from posting was a mixed bag, I guess, lol. I am once again feeling mostly better after aggravating my injury and wasting another 8 days re-recovering in bed. It looks like I'll be three chapters short of the goal I had set because of that, but that's close enough for me.
Hopefully, this will be the last non-chapter post from me until we're at or near the end. I'm still in awe at the absurdity that I needed to interrupt the schedule because of a back injury of all the possibilities. Crazy.
Anyway, Happy Halloween! Treat yourself to some chocolate!

I'm just saying that there is plenty of time for that to happen still. Although... I do think the story will all be on Earth. Wasn't it said early on that physically moving between planets is expensive and can't happen without the system, which is why this isn't a real invasion but clones of the robots spawning on Earth? Space travel also seems unlikely based on what the Avatar lady and colony guy trapped in their ship said.

2024-11-04 16:15:58 +0000 UTCHuh? How is that bullet dodged? It took 7 books to get about a year into the assimilation. Earth should be locked down for 110 more years, more or less. This, to me, basically confirms that the entire series is gonna just be on Earth. We'll see, I guess…

Unless there's gonna be some massive time jumps, will we even have any adventures in the wider universe? That's the thing I was looking forward to the most.

I crippled my back at the end of high school years ago and it had a debilitating affect since. I hope yours is recoverable from.
