Weekly Update

Things a bit weird in my country right now. So I’ve been, isolating myself from the frustrating news. I mean this in a good way.
Yesterday, for the first time in I didn't know how many months. I caught myself thinking of a script. It wasn’t a good script mind you. But I’ll take it as a good sings. I was starting to think that I had said all I had to say in that line of work and that might be why I was stuck in such a long dry run. Maybe not after all... Crossing fingers.
I watched "Reacher" last week. I was skeptical at first The Jack Reacher book are fun to read, but very formulaic and the main character feel like a power fantasy. To my own surprise, I worked quite well. And somehow, they managed to take some of the power fantasy moments and make them ominous. Yes, he is strong and powerful, but he’s got a dark streak that was there in the book and in the Tom Cruise movies, I’d guess, but I never really picked up on it. You don’t wanna mess with this Reacher.
As for work, I’ll be drawing and posting more really soon.

So do I especially those amazing 2D ones like Vox Machina of MOTR. 2D animation is still my favorite artform.

I'll be curious to what you think when you do continue. Sort of unrelated but I really like how there is lot of good quality animation shows popping up in the last few years.

Also since you have been watching so many shows lately. I just recently watched and finished Arcane after lot of recommendation from people. You should check it out just for the animation alone. Check out a trailer for cuphead show for Neflix as well, comes out soon. Could be fun.

2022-02-07 18:33:50 +0000 UTCy'a des trucs assez cool en vraie dans le film de Cruise. Par exemple il a fait toutes les cascades, les combats et les poursuites en voiture. Du coup ca permet de bon long plan sequence et pas de coupes, plutot cool visuellement!
