Changing my vacation plans.

I'm changing my vacation plans and decided that I'd use the remainder of it trying to better my writing.

I used to LOVE writing fiction back in high school, and later college. My teachers were always encouraging me to continue with it, usually telling me that they could see a possible future for me as a writer if I only could manage to get a hold of my spelling and grammar.

Quick Vacation Update

How are you doing my beautiful people?
I'm quite fine.

The vacation is going great, and you'll be happy to learn that my wrist has fully healed. I can't say the same about my shoulder blade, but the exercises and therapy sessions are doing the trick. It is slowly receding.

I am not bad.

First, the good news: I got my results on the x-ray I told you about last week, and it's clean. There isn't anything wrong with my heart or my lungs. It is definitely a musculoskeletal injury.

I'm working with a physical therapist at the moment. She's not cheap, but I need to do what I need to do. After a torturous massage, she gave me a bunch of exercises, and it is doing the trick. The shoulder isn't 100% ...

I'm doing quite well. I had a great, productive week and a fun little weekend.

I managed to draw 2 pages of Tracy's comic. I give myself 3 or 4 weeks to complete it. Tracy has a lot on her plate at the moment, so we'll skip the pre-lettering and go back to our old way of doing things. Send her love, she deserves it ^^

I'm quite good. I tried to work over the weekend but ended up with nothing to show for it and kept relaxed instead.

Last week felt good. It felt good to feel productive again. That Huntrix pic doesn't seem like much, but there are so many details on these jackets, even if I simplified it as much as I could, it still took forever to draw :P

How are you doing, my beautiful people?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your understanding last week. I didn't know how much I needed a break until I woke up the next day without the pressure of going to work. I didn't feel exhausted or anything. I thought I was just tired from the overnight a few days before, but that wasn't it. The moment I was "free" I felt GOOD!

I had an amazing week. I mostly walked all over the town. Hours and hours of me walking under the blazing sun ( I have a tan!!...

Monday, I managed to do what I wanted to do, but barely...
Try as I might, yesterday I just couldn't do anything good. I managed 1 panel of Tracy's pages in 5 hours. This is when I decided to stop fighting and write down my idea for the next Star Wars comic instead. That first draft isn't good, and that's not much, but at least the day wasn't entirely wasted.

WHAT A WEEK!!!! Two gigs out of nowhere. Tracy’s page and a pic for you. That was a LONG but productive week.

I’m sorry that I had to put the patron at the end of the queue for this, but I’ve been having issues covering everything for about a year now. I somehow always managed to keep in the green, but it’s getting harder every month. So this money will help a lot in keeping me afloat for a little while.

Life is weird.

Two days ago, I was sick and tired. Too tired to draw. The weekend coudldn't come fast enough.

Today I'm running all over the place, working on 3 projects at the same time. Crasy stuff. Not enough time... but I'm having a blast. I'll still take a day off, because I need it.

I'm still sick... But it's on its last legs. I still cough a little, and have to clean my nose quite often, but other than that, things are peachy.

Have you watched "KPop Demon Hunters" yet???

This thing came out of nowhere. It's definitely not perfect. The main guy's actor isn't really good, and some dialogues are pretty weak, in my opinion, but I had a blast! And I will be playing with these characters in the future.

How are you doing, my beautiful people?

It's the start of Summer. Once the smoke cleared, the sun came back with a vengeance. We had an amazingly beautiful week... I managed to catch a cold.

Yeah, I'm pretty sick right now. I'm on day two, it's usually the peak of it. My body aches all over, and I doubt I'll be very productive today. Still, once the meds kick in and I have my first coffee in me, things should get better.

I just woke up. My back hurts, my throat is sore, my eyes are dry... It's Monday morning in Canada.

Don't worry, I'm doing fine, but we have had smoke in the air for a few days now, and I'm starting to feel it. You can see it in the distance; everything has this yellow tint. You can smell it, and you can taste it. I'll have to drink honey water and have my eye drops ready for a while, I think.

I'm on record saying that I'm not crazy about Dodo. It is true that of all the women companions I've seen so far, she's easily in the bottom 3 ( Susan, Dodo and Romana 1... in no particular order).
