A Loveletter

I'm writing this to give thanks to all of you and look back on All that happened this year.

Back then, I started posting art on Instagram and other social Media. (That is my main art account; it still exists, but for privacy purposes, I will not mention it here; I wanted to keep it separate from this.) That Account didn't blow up much, and it gave me a long burnout. I became a starving artist during the pandemic. I kind of gave up on it to focus on working on a 9-5 job.

Work got me depressed at that time, so I went back to doing crazy things on the internet in hopes that I regain my artistic spirit again. I made explicit parodies of some shows and games I like. At first, I didn't take it Seriously. It was just a freaky jest between me and my internet friends. One of my Friends saw potential in it and I agreed with them. So I made more and created an NSFW account on Twitter.

I didn't expect a lot of people to like it, my drawings on Twitter back then lacked composition and the anatomy was rushed. As more and more people came to like and watch me make more NSFW drawings, Each drawing got juicier and juicier as I made them. I looked up to big nsfw artists and studied how they made their drawings so appetizing to the eyes. The anatomy poses, the shading, the lighting, the rendering... They inspired me to make more.

It actually took me months to start making Comics. Back then, I really didn't think of making one because the process intimidated me. The process of making it had my brain rolling, I didn't know which part to do first, the panels? the text? I didn't know how to execute it. Until... Scott Pilgrim came out on Netflix. Something in me pushed myself to do Comics, even when I didn't have prior experience in making one. I made My very first NSFW Comic! I just went to the flow of the process of making the panels, I took hold of the story, on how I wanted the viewers to feel about it. I'm not particularly a sex expert, but I know what I want, and I know what I expect when it comes to eroticism. I constructed the art to make it resonate with the audience and it satisfies me that a lot of people found it sexy the way I do.

All the overwhelming buzz I gained on Twitter came from a big artist noticing my work at that time, the repost they did elevated my name to a big audience. After that, another one came, then came another. It made me so happy, that the artists I used to follow for their incredible art are now following me back and became mutuals too. I wanted to mention them here but there's just a ton of em, and I just wanna say that they inspire me a lot.

A lot has happened this year, and because of this thing that I'm doing... I had the chance to pay my debts, I get to pay for my brother's college and I even get to travel now! Though there's still a lot to take care of, I Still couldn't believe that I'm slowly getting the life that I dreamt of, a life of being an Artist! 

Looking at where I am now, I'm like a Rockstar, and the Comics and Patreon rewards are my music Albums! I'm finally making a living from what I love to do... making art.

This year has given me Growth in many ways. I'm so happy to grow this year with the friends that I love so much and it makes my heart fill with joy by having you guys along!

We're currently 60k follows on Twitter! And now that more people are coming in, It's so nice to see the people who stayed showing me their love and appreciation through Likes and messages, especially the Comments! I wouldn't be able to make it this far without you guys.

I don't wanna cry while I'm writing this but... this is just the beginning, we head to a new chapter! I welcome you guys aboard 🎀For the new year, For more Art, More projects to come 🥂
