I had a lot of requests for RDR2 but I'm glad I've started from the beginning even though RDR2 is a prequel. Apparently I'll appreciate the characters more in number 2.
This game, what can I say. It's been a few days since I've recorded the first part and since then, I've been itching to watch the rest, daydreaming about diving back into the world Rockstar Games have created.
Even though it's sometimes ugly this game, the story and world building is what I'm in love with, I LOVE IT! I also like the older cinema storytelling here too. I've missed the simplistic movie nature from the 80's and 90's. More of this please.

RDR2 has the exact same issues with its visuals, Rockstar just got better at accounting for it.

By the way, these games have dynamic day and night cycles, which means, most of the time the lighting is not as intentional as it is in other games like The Last Of Us. You can play most missions at any given time of day.

While Morgan surpassed expectations, it's worth mentioning how Marston is still held in very high regard and managed to withstand any overshadowing from Morgan (despite the sequel itself overshadowing the original in many ways).
