ASURA'S WRATH (2012) | [ALL CUTSCENES!!] | PART 1!

A Grand Master Member Request "Shodleech" asked me to check this game out and oh boy, I'm glad they did! This game is something else, it really is. Mixing mediums completely caught me off guard and the love and passion I felt from Late 90s anime, a true marvel and love letter.

I'm still in shock that this was on the 360 and PS3. This game was clearly ahead of its time but at the end of the video, I explain how they make it look better which lifts the production value and leave that lasting impression, that's before we start talking story.

This game has been split into 2 parts due to the size of it and I think we're going to have to continue this as we go forward now I'm starting to look at very long games, Sony Titles for example.

[Side Note] This is the best place to see my reaction to Asura's Wrath as the YouTube version, I've had to cut parts out due to copyright material being found, visual copyright which is a first for me since starting the channel.

Hopefully part 2 will come next month, enjoy you beautiful people!

I actually joined the patreon just because I wanted to see the full reaction of this game and also beacuse TLOU part 1 and 2 were already complete here before they were published on youtube, and currently I have been a black belt for several months now. And I know there are other game series ongoing but I would love to see you finish the reaction of this game, because I think its really worth it. And since I like to drop fun facts, one of them is that the game's real ending is actually a paid DLC they released back then. The main game has 3 acts, and the 4th act is DLC, so if you get to the end of the reaction, but didnt reach act 4 that means that you havent reached the end yet. Also because you will see its pretty obvious they planted the seed for a next part right at the end of act 3. Also that the people involved in the development of Asura's wrath are the same that were developing the Street Fighter games, so you can clearly see the resemblance of style there and there is also a DLC that includes a fight between Asura and Akuma, that has no relation to the story but its a cool interaction.

Yes, it was a Patreon request but they didn't want to continue with Part 2 so I dropped it. I will one day go back because I want to see how it all ended but it's currently not on the cards.

Hey, just wondering, it's been a lot longer than a month for a part 2 (as far as I can see there isn't one.) Is part 2 officially abandoned, or...?

That's awesome to hear Lizardizzle! I'm looking forward to finding out how it all ends too. Love the orange haired display picture. What's it from?

Kai Zammit

Very much looking forward to part 2

No PC port! NOOOOOOOO! You've made me sad, this game looked and is fantastic. I've actually still got my 360 so I could jump on a play it myself. I thought I was having a funny turn there for a second when I read Street Fighter cross over, I said in the video that it reminds me of the art style of Street Fighter 4 I believe. I'll have to check out the other video link and see if that runs better, I happily watched the last one even with the screen sync issues but I do hate that stuff personally. Round of applause though fella, what a game choice you made. I also hope you enjoyed watching it with me!

Glad you like it. Il give you some answers :). Gameplay: while the shooting is half of it, the other half is a beatum up style where in a O shaped arena using combos to destroy the enemys. Under the green bar, the red bar you can call it the story bar. All fights and shoots fill it up anc once full usually a cutscene or quicktime event starts. Frames: this was on the 360 and ps3 so assume any issues is just console limitations. The game: This is the one and only game in the series so enjoy it while you can. Even back in the day this game was a buried gem that hardly got to shine so I had you watch this to see something iv never seen made again. Sad truth: this game being in the "golden age" of dlc would sell you the game in parts. Even the ending if did not buy the dlc was a false ending which really angered those who got the game. You can see below this which were dlc Episode 11.5: forging ahead. This was the huge artstyle change one. Episode 15.5: defiance. Difference in look and more story dlc. Episode 19 to 22 is the true ending dlc pack so the end of 18 is a fake end. The last 2 dlc are a noncanon pack crossover with streetfighter charcters also known as lost episode 1 and 2. Ultimately the game sale wise was a flop. If the internet is to be trusted, the reason for false ending was set up for a second game. Due to failure they used the remaining money and redid the ending and sold it as dlc for closure. No remakes, remasters or pc ports. Gotta get a 360 or ps3 or hope for backwards compatibility. Yes the deitys writing is dumb, them not knowing why he comes for them. A 2.5k 60fps upload of the cutscenes exist but seeing as you are a reactor i figured giving the one with the shooting air punch bits and average experience would be best. If want the better fps hd one then can link in dms for you to use on the part 2 if want
