one of the things we do in the kickstarters is have a comic store tier for stores to order a bunch of books at the same time which makes the whole thing cheaper to ship. well there's a store that regularly orders our stuff and ships in europe. the store is called archonia, it's in belgium and they have preorders open for the copies they ordered

this time i went for more of a reinterpretation as the old piece while it had potential in its concept anatomically just didn't work makin the attempts at recreating it faithfully feel disjointed... in the most literal meaning of the word XD
still i like the end result. more of a reinterpretation than a remake. mind you like with the other ones, the old piece will also be featured in the artbook but as it is too small in its original format it will be a part of a sort of an oldie...

some of the old remakes are gonna be pretty accurate tot he source piece, others however will use a source piece as a starting point for something very fun.
this one is the latter
mind you like with the previous ones, there is still some fine tuning to be done so if you plan on printing this for yourself i'd advise waiting until the illustration book is ready for assembly and i post updated versions finals here

another of the old pieces with a fresh coat of paint. this was one of the earliest ones done way before sunstone was sunstone, however there were some small building blocks applied even then.
mind you this is still being worked on. final passes wil be applied until it's sent to print so i'd wait on printing this one for yourselves. you will be provided a high resolution final at a later point :)

so many of you know i got a sunstone artbook kickstarter releasing soon, but i decided i'd use that opportunity to do something silly. since the illustration book will also have a compilation of all the previous calendar illustrations within it among all the other sunstone illustrations i figured, fuck it... in for a penny in for a pound. so i'm doing a third callendar as an optional addon.

apologies for the delay and the shorter update. turns out mental fatigue and creativity don't mix that well. been an overwhelming month and got into a but of a mental slump but i clawed my way out of it. now as for the shortness of the update (5 pages) i did make more, but then decided that narratively they messed up the flow of the whole thing and ruined the mood so i removed them. might use them down the line with a different dialogue tho, we'll see.

so given the worrying state of payment providers pressuring online stores to block mature content, there may come a time here where i'll have to restructure the patreon. by that i mean i may need to set it to sfw works only.... aaand open a discord server for patrons :P

just... thank you for your support. crimson was a big success and it wouldn't exist if it wasn't for all of you. kinda crazy for such a silly book but here we are.
this month both linda and i will be uploading the assembled digital version on our patreons. for those of you that don't know, crimson after hours like all of our other works is available on our patreons but this one is a special beast as the story is split in 2 pieces until a whole book is completed.
