CYOA Part Two: Luke's Here

Ebal was smiling at you, not even paying attention to Evander. He was waiting on your response with a sort of impish glee. Whatever you answered he was going to take joy in his own reaction.

“Yeah,” you murmured. “I don’t really feel like the company tonight.”

Ebal’s eyes shone and he tilted his chin up. Before he could even open his mouth Evander yanked on the back of his chair, pulling Ebal away from the table.

“Leave her alone. She’s having a hard enough night without weirdos like you hanging around.” Evander swatted at the air as Ebal rose from his chair.

“You’re so forceful,” Ebal replied with a purr. “Are you like this in bed-” He ducked as Evander reached out to him. Ebal took a few steps back and looked towards his table where his friends were watching with amused gazes.

“Okay, okay, geez.” Ebal sauntered away, his friends laughing at his return.

Evander huffed and put his hands onto his waist. “He’s a weirdo but I don’t think he means harm. He just likes getting reactions.”

You try to avoid looking over at the table, but you catch Ebal’s eye and he winks at you. “He better be careful, some people don’t react well.”

“If you need to get away we have a breakroom in the back,” Evander replied.

You shook your head. “I should be okay.” You looked back at your phone, not having replied to Amy since she told you Luke was coming instead.

“Well, if you do need anything, I’m just over the counter.” Evander returned into the kitchen and started preparing more coffee.

Every once and while Evander would come back out, refilling your coffee and water. Ebal and his group stayed in their corner booth the entire time as well. Every so often you heard them snickering and whispering.

After a while, you saw a car pull up outside and instantly, Ebal and the others rose. As they were leaving the diner Luke walked in.

Ebal and Luke crossed paths and Ebal smiled at him. “You smell like a dog.”

Luke frowned but paid him no mind. He instead rushed in towards you and stood before your table. His appearance was much disheveled since you last saw him. He looked like he had thrown on clothes that had been in the hamper and his eyes were a little red.

“Well,” you sighed. “That break didn’t last long.”

He gulped and pulled out a chair. “What happened?”

You shook your head. “I don’t know,” you huffed. “I was driving and all of a sudden this...thing appeared in the road.”

Luke furrowed his brow. “Thing?”

You nodded, your head swamped by exhaustion, but that image of that huge thing in the road still clear in your mind.

“I thought it was a moose but-”

“North Carolina doesn’t have any moose.” Luke started to put his hand over yours but he recoiled at the last second. “What was it?”

“Something big! I can’t explain it, because when I started to I realize how crazy it sounds.” You rubbed at your temple and Evander came out from the back.

“Do you need anything?” He asked, taking on a concerned approach.

You shook your head. “This is who I was waiting for.”

Evander eyed Luke with a curious glint to his eyes. “You can leave your car here for the night, I can call someone in the morning from Hearthway Hollow to come get it. I can also call ahead to a friend of mine, she owns a motel so you have somewhere to stay tonight.”

Luke seemed to bristle and he slipped his arms under the table.

“That would be great,” you agreed readily. You turned back to Luke. “Right? It’s so late, you’re probably tired.”

Luke huffed, not looking pleased in the slightest. “Yeah, it’s fine. If that’s what you want.”

Evander gave you a look, but he returned into the kitchen to make the phone call.

You frowned at him. “What’s wrong? Or is that something else you can’t tell me?” You were tired, you had no filter. In a sick way, you also enjoyed throwing that in his face.

Luke’s filter must have been down too, because he actually answered quite readily. “Hearthway Hollow is uhm...a touchy place for me.”

Your brows raised. “Really?”

Luke rubbed the back of his neck. “I used to live there before I moved to Georgia. I have friends there, but-”

You furrowed your brow. “But?”

“I don’t want to-” He stopped himself a slight smile appeared. “It was a pretty bad breakup.”

“Oh. I had no idea...how long before-”

Luke smiled softly at you. “About a year before I met you,” he replied. “It really messed with me.”

“Well, that’s something,” you murmured.

“I’m sorry I pushed you to this. I should have known that...all I can say is that I’m sorry. You do what you have to do to feel better. The least I can do is be supportive and try from here on out.”

You gave him a smile in return. “We can talk about this in the morning. I’m too tired and on edge to do much else.”

Evander returned and handed you a piece of note paper with an address on it and a phone number. “The number is mine. The address to the motel, my friend is holding a room for you.”

“Thank you so much!” You exclaimed. “That’s so sweet.”

Evander’s big, green eyes were soft and sweet. He really did have an angelic appearance. “Come back here in the morning, get a good breakfast and then take care of your car. The garage in Hearthway Hollow is really good so you won’t have to wait long.”

Luke stood up and reached for his wallet. “Thank you.” He offered Evander and twenty. “I really appreciate your help tonight.”

Evander shook his head. “Save it for tomorrow. Tonight it's on me. I don’t often get to play a knight like I used to,” he chuckled.

Luke still placed the money on the table. “C’mon, let’s go.”

You smiled and waved to Evander. “Thank you again. Your diner is great, I really enjoyed your company.”

Evander’s eyes widened and his smile turned shy.

Driving away, you looked back towards your car then took a deep breath. Luke drove in silence, going towards a small road between the trees. The road widened up, the trees started to part, and a great wooden sign appeared saying; Welcome to Hearthway Hollow, the town where the moon shines brightest.

“What is this place?” You asked.

“It’s a pretty great place to live. They’ve got this really nice college now, lots of charm. You’d like it.” He spoke softly, sounding very tired.

“How come you never told me about it? Just because of the bad breakup?”

You couldn’t tell in the dark, but you knew Luke well enough to know he was making a face. “Cowardice,” he answered simply.

You drove up to the Locklear Motel where a young woman was at the front desk. She instantly laid down a key on the counter as you approached.

“Are you Evander’s friends?” She asked.

“Yeah, that’s us.” You took the key while Luke paid for the room.

“Lucky thirteen was all we had tonight,” the woman said. She had long dark hair and looked very petite. “Sleep well.”

As you and Luke walked down the sidewalk towards your room, Luke was chuckling.

“Lucky thirteen, eh?”

You smirked. “Seems to be a common theme with us.”

Luke looked a bit bashful and tilted his head down. “It’s been a while hasn’t it?”

You came to room thirteen and before you unlocked the door you smiled at him. “Thanks for rescuing me tonight. You didn’t have to do that.”

“I’ll always be there for you,” he murmured. “Even when you have every right to hate me.”

You opened the door. “I don’t hate you. I’m concerned about us. But let's stop. Let's just go to bed, get some rest, and in the morning once we get my car dealt with, we can talk. Maybe this happened for a reason.”

The room was various shades of green with hints of late eighties decor thrown around. The bed was nice at least, and there were no bothersome smells. You got a shower, hoping it could help the ache between your shoulders as well as ease you into sleep. You were exhausted, but stimulated enough to feel sleep wouldn’t come easy.

As you came out of the bathroom, Luke was already lying in bed. Looking at him you knew you loved him, but there was still so much that needed to be confronted before you could consider going forward.

You got into bed and Luke stirred. His eyes opened as you turned the last light off.

“Good night, babe,” he murmured.

“Good night.” You laid down, but you felt wide awake. You fidgeted and shifted in bed, trying to find the most comfortable place to fall asleep.

“Can’t sleep?” Luke’s voice purred from the dark.

You grunted in frustration and laid on your back. “I’m too wound up.”

Luke moved closer to you. “Anything I can do to help?”

“You don’t need to worry about me, Luke. Go to sleep, I’ll get there eventually,” you grumbled.

Luke chuckled. “You know I can’t sleep when you can’t.” He inched even closer and he kissed your cheek. His lips brushed against your jaw then slid onto your neck.

You moaned and stretched out your neck. “Luke, what are you doing?”

His kisses grew warmer and wetter on your neck. His teeth nipped at the sensitive skin and your body shivered all over.

“It’s so late.” You whined but you didn’t really try to argue.

Luke’s mouth moved from your neck, placing soft kisses on your lips. “You just relax then. I’ll take care of everything.”

You swallowed as his kisses returned to your neck. “It is nice but-” You lost our breath as he bit your breast through your shirt.

“Just one last night,” he pleased, pulling up your shirt. “Let me pretend for just one more night. Please?”

You breath shuddered and you nodded. “One...one more.”

His warm mouth covered your nipple, sucking and tugging. His sharp teeth scraped down your skin, making your body writhe with excitement. You cupped the back of his head, tangling into his messy hair and pulling.

Luke kissed down your belly and his hands sunk into your hips. “What would you like me to do, babe? What do you want?”

Your head was swimming in a thick sargassum of lust and exhaustion. Whatever he did would feel welcomed to your body. “I don’t...you choose.”

Luke chuckled into your thigh, kissing it and nipping. “I do know what you enjoy. I know what I want too.” His fingers rubbed at your panties where your warmth was growing. “I want you to come.”

You held your breath, squeaking as his touch became more intense. He pressed against your underwear where he was greeted by a squish of wetness.

“You’re getting so wet, babe.” He pushed aside your panties and his warm, wet tounge took their place.

“Oh!” You breathed again, arching your back slightly and placing your hand back into his hair.

Luke moaned against you, breathing softly against your vulva as his tongue split you to find your creamy center. He gasped in elation, moving his hands under your rear and lifting you slightly.

“I just realized it’s been a while,” Luke murmured into your plush thigh. “I haven’t been very attentive, have I?” He rose up above you, taking off his shirt and throwing it aside.

His warm, hairy chest pressed into your breasts and he kissed you hungrily. Some of your wetness still clung to his lips, which you licked away.

“Shut up,” you pant. “I don’t want to talk about it now.”

Luke chuckled. “Alright then.” His fingers slipped between you thighs, two pressing inside you. “You’re so eager for me. Fuck.” He hissed, taking in a sharp breath. “How many times should I aim for, huh? I owe you quite a few I’m sure.” His thumb started rubbing to your clit while his fingers moved inside, crooking and teasing.

“Luke-” Your voice squeaked.

He growled, and in the darkness that elicited from you a stronger response than you expected. “Three? Maybe four?”

“One is enough!” You whimpered.

“I’m not tired anymore. There’s not much night, but I have all morning to take care of you.” His fingers were driven, squelching with his effort. Your wetness seeped out, spilling over his other fingers and palm.

“We have to-” It struck without warning, wrapping around your body and squeezing every last bit of air from you.

Luke’s dark snarls filled the night, and he was driven further. He kept moving his fingers inside you, thrumming his thumb against you. Your body was wracked, your mind had turned to white noise, but he continued.

You had to grab his wrist to give you a moment, to which he chuckled smugly. “Is that enough, baby girl?” He kissed and bit your neck.

You gulped and tried to catch your breath, but every extra touch he gave made your body spasm. “Luke,” was all you could mewl.

“One more,” he breathed into your ear. He laid on top of you, lifting your hips as he placed his cock against you. He felt so rigid and hot against you, and your body craved him deep inside.

“One more,” you agreed.

Luke’s glans were inside you then. They slipped in for a moment, popping out a second later. He growled hungrily, pushing himself back into the shallow. He pulled back out, teasing you with a slight laugh.

“You’re so soft and wet,” he moaned. “I have to be careful. I’ll come in no time.”

You bit your lip. “Please?”

Luke shivered. “Alright. For you.” he guided himself inside, pushing between your walls and filling you up.

You threw your head back, biting your lip as the pleasure took over. A brief flash of Evander’s angelic face came into your mind. His soft green eyes, his sweet, bashful smile, his big hands. You gasped in shock as Luke drove deeper.

You pulled Luke down to kiss him, and yet Evander remind at the back of your mind. His large arms, so strong and gentle. You kissed Luke more, feeling the scratch of his beard. His body bore into you, rocking the bed, pushing your body against the mattress.

You wrapped your arms around him, crying out as he drove his cock into you. Yet still, your mind became so focused Evander. His large body on top of you, his cock inside you.

Luke began to cry out, his body shuddering. He was close, but so were you. Luke was always a tender lover. Even when you two got intense, he was still gentle and affectionate. Somehow, especially now as the end was in sight, he felt rougher, harder. His thrusts were powerful, his body beat into yours. His hands held tight onto you, creating a smidge of pain that only increased your desire.

Even as you both came, he drove harder and harder into you. His deep growls echoed in the dark, making him sound dangerous rather than his usual whimpers of pleasure.

As you sank into the bed, sated, exhausted, and dizzy, you fell asleep rather quickly. In the corner of your eye you thought you saw someone watching you from the table by the window. Int he tiniest crack of light, you thought you saw a wicked smile full of sharp, jagged teeth.

It was late when you woke up. Your head was foggy and it took you a moment to remember where you were. You looked around the green motel room before gazing down at Luke naked beside you.

You felt guilty for imagining someone else last night, but Luke never needed to know. You went into the bathroom, gazing at yourself in the mirror. You looked at your phone, seeing there was a text from Amy.

You sat down on the toilet and rubbed your face as you tried to wake up. You needed to deal with your car, but you didn’t want to be awake either.

There was a knock on the bathroom door. “Mind if I come in?” Luke asked, sounding just as groggy and exhausted as you.

“Yeah, come in,” you yawned.

Luke walked in, looking worse for the wear. “Oh good, I’m not the only one.” he turned on the shower and stood there while he waited for it to heat up. “What happened last night?” He asked.

You huffed. “I dunno. Something came over both of us.”

Luke rubbed his face then smacked his cheeks. “I haven’t felt like that since I was twenty,” he grumbled. “I think I overdid it, because my back is killing me.”

“You really did do a number,” you groaned. “You’ve never been like that.”

Luke frowned and his brow knit together. “Yeah. Something was up, wasn’t it?”

You looked up at Luke. “What do you mean?”

He just shook his head. “Nothing. It must have just been everything that went on last night. Want to get into the shower with me?”

You didn’t feel like showering alone, just in case you fell asleep again. Luke washed your back, and you pointed out some bruises on your body.

“I didn’t realize how rough I got. I’m sorry.”

“It was kind of fun,” you murmured. “To feel a different side of you like that.” You smiled at him then turned back around. “Even if it was a bit weird, it was nice.”

“Yeah,” he murmured. “It was.” he placed a kiss upon your shoulder. “So, what do you want to do now?”
