You should've watched the launch trailer for ME2, it's by far the best trailer of the series and one of the best of all time IMO (excluding some ultra-high budget stuff like Halo live actions). It really sells the theme of the game, which is you are building a team for a suicide mission. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZK9vrBNRys

The reason I didn't choose ME3 was it was mainly in the soundmix, just a bassy tone and an ear ringing sound effect. ME2 really has made me want to play it, that's such a powerful thing. 2024-04-07 23:23:15 +0000 UTCLoved mass effect 1, was so happy when it got released on PC(as i didnt have a xbox and my mates kept goin on about it. So i got into mass effect through word of mouth.). Saren definitely top 10 villian. What's so good about him is that starts of with good intentions(especially if you read the books) and genuinely thinks he is doing the right thing. ME2 is the dirty dozen in space love it, love the games launch trailer and use of two steps from hell in it. Garrus and legion are my favourite characters. Mass effect 3 I loved until the last few levels. Though the ending can be fixed the extended Happy ending mod on PC. Also Femshep all the way. Jennifer hale just adds an extra dimension that male shep I feel lacks. Also I did enjoy mass effect Andromeda. Yes the development was hell, it was bugged to bits, but the actual gameplay is rock solid and with mods it's a good game.

2024-04-07 17:37:39 +0000 UTCNumber 2 felt very space opera to me and probably why I liked it. I felt this was a big universe to discover. Number 3 looked more like a hollywood blockbuster going straight to streaming services. I would have watched it though.

For a game known for its story and great characters (and the Karma System of Course) the trailers dont really go into any of that. (Tbf, I played all the games, never seen any of the trailers except the proper trailer where you can see shepard (the guy) and Ashley (the woman in the blue armor) fight/ lead the fight to reclaim earth
