Here we go, a new non-sillhouette character finally joins the story hahaha
How would you feel if you knew that I hadn't actually finalized his design until the very last second when I made the cover page? Gabe's design was something I worked on for a good bit and went through several iterations, Manny here just flew much more naturally from that

At first the text on the other upload was super crunchy, so I had to learn that in csp resizing a picture and then saving it has wildly different results than exporting the page in the desired size. And that fucking blows!!!

Hey everyone!
Looks like we'll finally get to meet a new character! I'll admit this one is kinda like when you're playing a game and you meet an npc that has a custom portrait hahaha
I got to have a lot of fun with the sillhouettes in this one, they turned out better than I was expecting (mainly the 3rd panel there!), although panels 4 and 5 definitely take the cake for me on this one

Over the last week some stuff was going down and we had to move to a safe location temporarily. I was still able to do enough work for the comic to get the page done in time and not delay anything though, the only real delay was on the extra work I wanted to do on a new rocket animation that I got started the other week

While I was working on this page I honestly thought it was gonna turn out horrible, but the more and more I put work on it, it started evolving a bit and in the end I think it turned out alright! I even got to play a bit with effects and stuff so it ended up more fun than I was expecting

I've been feeling pretty good about the colors in the comic, I really like how the pages have been looking! I noticed I had never properly drawn the original freddy design before! And in over a decade I had never really noticed that the top and bottom of his muzzle were different colors!

Ok I think I'm starting to get the groove of making a comic, who would have known that when you keep having to draw the same character over and over again, that it starts to become easier and faster to do it!
