February Update : Plans n' Goals!

I've been a bit quiet in the past week, so apologies! I wanted to give you guys a heads up on what's going on right now and my current plans. :)

First off though, thank you to all the new patrons that have joined recently! I really appreciate all of your support - and I'm going to work hard to try and make it worthwhile. I'll have some new content out soon hopefully!

For the rest of this month, I plan on focusing on packaging and prepping for my convention in March. I'll be attending Lexington Comic and Toy Con     and vending at booth 601! I have a few conventions scheduled for this year, most of them local and smallish. I'm trying to keep my costs very low, so only doing conventions I can commute to every day is pretty helpful. ^.^

working on some vinyl banners for conventions.. (I probably won't use the ysera one though)

Going to try and do a few sketch requests, as well as possibly work on that Queen Azshara sketch I did and turn it into a print. :)

Pin Club for March

So, I've run into a bit of a problem here. Due to Chinese New Year, my factory is closed and I've been advised to wait a bit on ordering more pins until they get caught up. I've seen some pretty bad horror stories of major defects with factories rushing to get orders out after major holidays.. so when my manufacturer contact tells me I should hold off a bit.. I believe him! 

Originally I was going to have you all vote on March's design in Feb, then place the order as soon as they begin work again and hope the order would get here in time by the end of March. Due to the issues above though, I'm going to just go ahead and send out an Animal Crossing inspired pin that I've been holding off on releasing. Its super cute, and the only reason I haven't put it on Etsy yet is because I was waiting to see the manufacturing situation.

That being said, I'll have votes up for April and May's pin soon! I want to try and do these a few months ahead of time so I don't run into any delays with shipping them out. ^.^

New toy!

I posted about this on twitter, but my family surprised me with a new iPad pro as a belated birthday gift! I'm still sort of figuring it out, but I'm enjoying it so far. :) I think one of the main things I'm excited for is being able to post timelapses from it easily. I can't wait to travel with it and be able to draw on the go. ^^

Patreon Store

I'm currently working on a private Patreon-only webstore on my own servers. I've had one in the past, but it just didn't drive traffic and only really got some use for a few pre-orders. 

I want to give it another go, so I'll have you guys be my test subjects. :) The store will have the extras from my previous Patreon boxes - things that I have very few copies of or convention exclusive items! I'll also be able to setup deals (like buy 2 get 1 free) which Etsy currently doesn't allow me to do. Down the road I'll probably open up a public store as I'd like to have a separate space for my art vs Teaberry House merch.

A few new charms coming soon!  These will probably be convention exclusive - but I'll give Patrons the ability to order on the new site. :)
