Half Incubus Boyfriend: Taeyung 2 (rough draft)

The draw of the carnival lures you in each night. After that first visit, you can’t keep yourself away. You’ve been caught in a web of beauty, talent, and mystery you really don’t wish to escape from. And Taeyung is the lure that keeps drawing you in.

“I’m really glad you keep coming,” he says. He’s just finished a show and he’s resting outside the big top. “I’ve never been great at making friends.”

You’re holding a cold coffee in your hands, afraid to look at him as he’s shirtless from the heat of performing. “That’s a surprise to me. Considering how charming and how easily you perform on stage.”

“I was a shy kid, especially because-” He stops and the smile on his face fades. He looks away, turning his head towards the row of lights leading to the performers’ tents.

“Something wrong?” You ask unsurely.

“It’s a long story,” he mutters. “Kind of hard to explain.” He turns back and reaches for his shirt, placing it back on. He rubs his hand on his chest then sighs. “I’ll miss you when we leave.”

Your heart quivers. “Where will you be going?”

“Somewhere near the ocean I think,” he murmurs. “Dad said something about a water show.” He pulls his legs up to his chest and sighs. “Would it be okay if I texted you or something?”

“Really?” Your hand goes for your pocket then stills. “You would want to?”

Taeyung smiles. “Of course. I don’t have my phone with me, I can put my number in yours if you’d like.”

You nod silently, handing him your phone. He puts in his information then smiles. “I even sent myself a text.” He hands your phone back. “That way you don’t have to worry about starting it.”

“That’s sweet,” you put your phone back into your pocket. “How much longer before you have to go?”

Taeyung pouts, screwing his mouth up then sighing. “We’re here one more week. We’ll leave on Sunday.”

“Any free days?” You ask.

Taeyung thinks then nods. “I don’t perform on Tuesday.”

“Robin offered me the apartment above the store. All I need to do is clean it up. I know you probably want a day off but-” You hesitate to pull the trigger and your face turns bright red.

Taeyung’s eyes move away and his gaze becomes serious. “I’d love to,” he murmurs. “But to be honest I would be afraid to be alone with you.”

Of course, you think. You suspected as much. “It’s okay. I just thought-”

“I want to, trust me,” Taeyung quickly counters, his whole body turned towards you. “It’s just that...the long hard to explain story.” He frowns. “It’s really complicated, and I don’t trust myself.”

“You don’t have to explain,” you mutter. Your chest feels tight but you’ve accepted it already.

Taeyung places his hand over your own. He holds it, pulling it towards his chest. “I want to tell you everything. I feel like you would understand, but I’m so scared.” he hands squeezes tighter. “I don’t want you to look at me like I’m a monster?”

“You?” The word blurts loud and sudden from your mouth. “You a monster? With your pretty face and fluffy hair?”

Taeyung smiles shyly. “It’s more than.”

“You’re a literal angel baby and you think that YOU are the monster?” It’s asinine. Was he reading from a drama script.

“Don’t tell me you think you are?” Taeyung leans in closer. “Because I think-” He doesn’t finish his thought. Instead he leans in, capturing your face, touching your lips, and sighing gently as you melt. His lips art soft, his hand is strong, your mind is butter on a frying pan.

Taeyung pulls back suddenly, covering his eyes with his hand. “I fucked up!”

“Fucked who?” Your lashes flutter. You cover your mouth then look at him. Something seems strange. His stance looks tense, his hand is constricting so you can see veins. “Taeyung?”

“Give me a second. I almost-” He swallows back and seethes. “I almost let him get out.”

For some reason you glance to his pants then hurriedly look back to him. “Are you okay? What’s wrong? Was it me?”

He laughs, sounding in pain. “No. Not you. It was-” He lowers his hand and the colors of his eyes have switched. The blue is now brown and the brown is now blue. “It was all me.”

You furrow your brow, also seeing that his hair looks less fluffy, more wavy and long. “Is this a magic trick?”

Taeyung stands up. “I need a drink.”

You offer your cold coffee. He takes it and as his fingers wrap around the cup, his red nail polish is black. “Thank you.” He drinks and drinks and drinks then sighs out as he finishes it. “Sorry, I’ll buy you a new one.”

You stand beside him, wondering if this was a magic trick or if something really is wrong. You touch his hand and he turns it slowly so he can hold it. “Let’s go get you a new drink.” He walks with you. “Maybe play a game.”

You walk with him, not bringing up the kiss or the changes that had come over him. But by the time you left things had returned to normal. When you got home, you found a lengthy text waiting for you from Taeyung.

“If the kiss scared you, I’m sorry. I’ve been wanting to kiss you for a long time, and I should have asked. But I let this urge inside me control me. I apologize profoundly, and I hope I get to see you again. I’d love to see you Tuesday, you help you clean what could be your new home. But there is so much I need to say to you before I am able to be alone with you. My world and my life are so much more different than just a carnival and a magic act. Once again I’m sorry.”

“I liked the kiss,” it was easier to admit over text than in person. “A lot actually. I don’t know what has you so worried, or what you feel you need to hide. But if you feel safer on the phone then you can tell me.”

It takes a moment but he replies as you’re getting ready for bed. “I don’t want you to think I’m telling a tall tale.”

“Is it really so strange?”

“Could I call you?”

Your heart hammers. You’re not the best on the phone but for Taeyung, and to hear his voice over the line, you agree. “Yeah. Go ahead.”

Your phone rings ten seconds later and you screw up the courage to not sound terrified. “Hello?”

“Hi,” his voice is sweet syrup over the phone. “I know it’s late. I won’t take too long.”

You start to pace your room, walking back and forth as you talk. “Take all the time you need, I’m usually up pretty late anyways.”

“Still, I don’t want to ruin your evening or anything,” he chuckles softly. “This is not something I share with just anyone. I want you to know that. I like you, I like you as a friend, and I like you beyond that. If that’s okay?”

“I’m shocked but...yeah it’s okay.” You sit down on your bed. “I like you a lot too.”

“Well,” you can hear his smile in his voice. “I’m glad. Which makes what I need to say all the more important.” He takes in a deep, deep breath. “I’m not human, not entirely,” his voice shakes as he speaks. “My birth mother was human, but the man who sired me was an incubus.”

“What?” Your breath left you and you sat in perfect stillness.

“I know, it sounds strange. But please, hear me out. It’s all true,” he sounds close to tears. “I was abandoned when I was born, and raised in an orphanage. Because of how I looked, I was constantly bullied. As I got older and it got worse, that’s when I found out there was...someone else with me.”

You kept silent.

Taeyung whimpers. “When my feelings become strong, he comes out.”

“Who?”

“Dal,” he says. “The incubus side of me.”

You swallow back the lump in your throat and bite your lip. There’s no way you can respond to this. You can’t think of anything at all that isn’ stupid. “Is he bad?” The words slip out.

“He’s...unafraid,” Taeyung murmurs. “He’s...mean but-” He stops and sighs. “I was lucky at least that my dad found me and took me in. He saved me and made me realize that what I was, wasn’t evil or bad. I was like him.”

“Mr. Faire is an incubus too?”

“No!” he gasps. “Uhm...something else. I mean...most of my carnival family are-” He sounds nervous again. “Don’t get scared.”

“That’s why someone says before they say something scary.”

Taeyung laughs. “That’s why I like you. You make me feel better.”

Your heart surges again.

“The carnival is a safe haven. It’s home to more than just what meets the eye. It’s wonderful, it’s truly magic. I wish I could show you.” He sounds like he could be crying.

“Could you?” Your voice cracks.

“I can.” His relief is present. “I’d love to. If you’d like to, i can show you now.”

You fidget with excitement. “How?”

“A magic trick. Do you have a big mirror anywhere?”

There was one hidden in your closet. It was supposed to hang over your door but you kept getting made every time you looked in it. “I do.” You unearth it from the back and lean it against the wall.

“Okay, stand before it. Close your eyes.”

You do as he asks. “Okay. They’re closed.”

“Now, take my hand.”

Chills go through your body. “What?”

Taeyung chuckles. “Reach out towards the mirror.”

You do so, stretching your hand out until you feel his fingertips. His fingers laces with yours, pulling you forward. “Keep your eyes closed,” he says through the phone. “Step forward. You’re safe.” You feel as if you’re falling, but right as you get scared Taeyung’s arms are around you.

“I’ve got you princess. Open your eyes.”

You look upon the backstage of the big top. Taeyung sets you down, and smiles shyly at you.

“It really is magic!” You say stunned.

He shrugs. “Kind of.” He keeps a hold of your hand. “Follow me. I want to show you the carnival.” He leads you outside, and after all your time spent there you think you know what to expect. But no, there is so much more. The carnival is lit up, dreamy as ever. But now, the people all around you are changed. There are creatures and monsters you’ve only seen in movies. There’s beautiful elves, living dolls, a centaur walking around. Your jaw is dropped to the floor.

“During operating hours we hold a glamour which hides our true appearance.” He looks at you and you see his glamour fade away. The mottled color of his skin becomes pink and black, his eyes shift to match. He has a tail as well that begins to flick about behind him. Taeyung touches his hand over his chest. “So we can stay safe.”

“Oh wow,” you whisper. You reach up, touching his face, feeling his skin is almost velvet now. “You’re beautiful.”

His smile is sad but relieved. Small tears form in the corners of his eyes. “So are you.” He kisses your palm then holds it to his face. “I have more to show you.”

He whisks you through the carnival, showing you all the people and creatures there. You’re shy, but somehow relieved of it too. You have fun with Taeyung, enjoying the company of his extended family.

You end up falling asleep sitting next to him, and you wake up in a bed and room you don’t know. You sit up, rubbing your eyes as you try to adjust to the darkness.

“Awake?” It’s Taeyung’s voice, but slightly changed.

You turn, looking through the shadows and seeing someone sitting at the foot of the bed. “Hello?”

A hand strokes up your leg. “Go back to sleep, princess.”

You squint your eyes. “Taeyung?”

“Close.” The figure creeps up onto the bed. “I wanted to pop out and say hello.” His eyes glow in the darkness. “See what Taeyung is fussing over.”

“Dal-” You fall backwards as he comes up close to you. Long hair falls against your face as you gaze up into the glowing eyes.

“Taeyung wants to touch you,” Dal murmurs. His finger slips over your lips and down your cheek. “He had to step away when he put you to bed.”

“What are you going to do?” You whisper.

“Nothing.” Dal brushes against your cheek. “Not unless you want me to,” he chuckles. “Stop it,” Taeyung’s voice scolds. “Leave her alone.”

“Whose there?”

“Sorry,” Taeyung sighs. “Didn’t mean for you to meet him just yet. Did he do anything?”

You slowly sit up. “He said he wouldn’t.” You see his white hard in the darkness and reach out to touch it to make sure it was him.

He sighs with relief. “Oh good.” He leans into your touch. “Do you want me to take you home?”

“I can stay here.” You want to stay there exactly for as long as possible.

“Could be dangerous,” he says playfully. “He could come out again if I get...excited.” His whisper cuts through the shadows, cuts through your flesh and makes you shiver with excitement.

“Is there something to get excited about?” You are equal parts nervous and thrilled.

Taeyung presses his forehead against yours. “You’re in my bed.”

“Am I?” You press your palms against his chest. “Should I get out?”

“No.” He closes the gap, kissing you like he had before. “I want you to stay. Before I have to go I-” You kiss again, pressing intent into it. “I have to be careful,” he murmurs.

“Because of Dal?”

“Yes, but no,” he chuckles. “I have to be careful because you’re precious.”

You shiver all over, gripping onto his shirt as he presses in for another kiss. You fall onto the bed, holding onto him as he moves over top of you. It feels like there are two sets of hands on you. One set that’s tender and another that are rough. The tender hands cup your face and touch your hair while the second set is eager to move away your clothes and touch bare skin. You want it, lord above knows you do, but you have to stop.

“Wait,” you pant. “Wait I-” The rough hands are making you dizzy, making you want more. “I’ve never...I’m-”

Taeyung moves his hands away while Dal’s only still. “What is it?”

You swallow hard. “I’m a...well...you’re gonna laugh.”

“She’s a virgin,” Dal chuckles.

“Hey,” you pout.

Taeyung goes quiet. “Is that true?” He gently brushes your hair aside. “Are you?”

“I mean, yeah,” you say nervously. “I thought maybe you should know.” You want to go back to the heavy petting.

“Just because I’m half Incubus don’t think I’m any good,” Taeyung murmurs.

“I am,” Dal laughs.

Taeyung huffs. “Please, ignore him.” He kisses you and both sets of hands return. “I’ll take care of you, I promise.”

Taeyung carefully undresses you, his lips caress your body, moving down so he can take in all of you. Dal’s rough hands knead into your hips, moving around to open your legs as Taeyung lowers himself below. His eyes shimmer in the darkness, watching you as you throw your head back onto the pillow. He tastes you, tongue pressing to your folds as you lose your breath. Dal moans against you, his deep voice vibrating against your flesh. Taeyung’s lips press kisses, Dal’s tongue swirls around your clit. Both breathe and sigh as arousal takes them over.

“Good girl,” Dal moans.

Taeyung rises and comes back over top of you. “Do you feel okay?” He whispers.

You nod, shaking from how good he felt. “Yeah.”

Taeyung kisses you. “What would you like next?”

You stare up at him, seeing his hair is falling to the side. You reach up, pulling him back down towards you. “I’m ready.”

“You sure?” Taeyung licks your lips.

You stroke your hand down his back. “Yes.”

“I’ll go slow,” Taeyung breathes with Dal’s voice at the back of his throat. He lifts your legs while Dal’s hands caress your body, groping your chest and stroking down your ribs. Taeyung angles himself and you can feel him slide against your lips, pressing into your plump mound.

“Good girl,” Dal whispers again.

“Tell me if anything hurts,” Taeyung breathes into your ear. He sighs softly, moving himself so he’s placed at your entrance. You hold onto tight to him, wrapping your arms around him as he begins to penetrate. His gasps into your ear, turning to erotic moans as he fills you. The sensation is strange, but he feels warm inside you. You whimper, arching your hips a bit to meet him more.

“Taeyung,” you breathe.

“I know,” he kisses you. “I’m here. Is it okay?”

“Yeah,” you hiccup.

He kisses you again, moving his hips slow. The strangeness goes away, replaced by a comfort that mingles with the arousal. The movement of his hips, the stroke of his shaft, it coaxes from you a deep, dark desire that begins to spill. Taeyung holds your hands while Dal’s dig into your hips. It feels like there are two of them there, one pampering you and one riling you up. It takes your breath away, makes your thoughts swim, your body pulse. You can feel it all through you.

You wake with sun in your eyes. You pout, resting your cheek back upon Taeyung’s chest. You then sit up like a bolt when your realize that. Taeyung grunts, slowly coming to. “Come back. It’s cold without you.”

Your cheeks heat up as you gaze down at his naked body. He smiles at you, beckoning you back down. “Come here, please.”

You slowly ease back down, too afraid to look at him. His hands rub up your back and he kisses your forehead. “Are you okay after last night.”

Your heart sputters. “Yeah. I feel...great.”

Taeyung snuggles up close to you, his arms around you, his smile firmly in place. “I’m glad. I’ve not been so happy since I was adopted. I felt...so amazing last night thanks to you.”

“You’re the wonderful one,” you murmur.

Taeyung kisses you. “I wish I had your eyes, princess. You’ll have to tell me that trick later.”

You smile at him. “Not a trick. Just the truth.”
