Half-orc Girlfriend: Sanati (rough draft)

The help wanted posters were put up about a week ago, and already you’re getting prospective guards for the farm. Your father is very specific, wanting to find the toughest and scariest he could to protect the farm.

“We need to scare them off at the pass,” he said. “So we need some scary looking motherfuckers.”

This made sense to you, but at the same time you thought you needed someone knowledgeable too. Someone who knew how to fight, knew how to be defensive. You didn’t just need appearances when the rustlers came back.

Still, you and your father took the interviews. It was a bit intimidating to say the least. Lots of the people who came matched the description your father wanted, but none of them came up to your standards. So this put you in the position to argue with your father about what was best needed.

“Those rustlers will be back to steal everything away from us, and we won’t have a single guard around because you’re worried they don’t know what they’re doing?” Your father snapped at you.

“Anyone can throw a punch. We need someone who knows more than that.”

“Aside from stealing a knight, how the hell are we going to find that? Stop worrying about that shit and worry more about looking like a man yourself.” He shoved a gnarled old finger in your face. “You’re going to take over this farm one day, and I ain’t letting you take it over looking like a sissy.” He stormed away, going back to hire the three orcs who you were arguing about.

You stormed away, angrier than ever. It didn’t matter what you looked like or how you acted, you were never going to fill your father’s shoes in his eyes. You’d long ago stopped being ashamed of being more like your mother and sisters. They never said it was bad, just him.

As you were working off your anger stabbing feed bags so you could tend to your chickens, you noticed someone watching from the fence. They looked like another orc, but they appeared slightly smaller. They waved from the fence, holding one of your posters in their hand.

“The interviews are over,” you said as you approached. You saw they were a woman, her thick cloak covered most of her figure. Her long black braid was wrapped around her neck in a strange fashion.

“Oh, too bad,” she said. “I could really use the work.” She leaned back upon the fence and sighed heavily. “You got anything else that could be done around here?”

You looked her over, noting her muscular arms, scarred up knuckles. There were scars across the bridge of her nose that looked jagged and deep into the flesh. Something about her spoke to you in a way the others who’d been interviewed hadn’t.

“What is it you can do?” You asked.

“I’m a trained grappler,” she answered simply. “But I can do whatever work needs to be done. Even if it’s shovelling shit, I just need the work.”

A bolt of excitement rushed through your system. “A grappler huh? How good are you?”

She smiled slightly. “You don’t believe I could be? Well, if you want to test it out, I must warn you, I’ve only lost two matches in my entire life.”

You swallow and shake your head. “It isn’t that, Miss. It’s just that, we’ve interviewed a lot who have said they can ‘fight’ but have no real training. My father just hired three orcs, and while they look tough, I don’t think they’re warriors.”

She smiled again and chuckled. “If you’ve been dealing with rustlers, you’ll need a vigilant night watch. Most of the ‘boys’ around this village seem to be more of a pub watching type.”

“That’s what I told my dad!”

The orc woman held out her hand. “Sanati,” she said.

I took her hand and shook it. “I’ll hire you on. But I’ll have to pay you from my own pocket.”

Sanati hopped over the fence to join me. She’s so much taller than me, and possesses a frame that is equal parts muscular and feminine. “Your dad won’t approve of this?” her skin is forest green, but dappled with spots of light brown, like shadows are moving across her skin.

“Probably not. But if I am paying you on my own, then he can’t say anything. I’ll just tell him I hired you to guard the house.” You motion over to your home where some of your sisters were on the front porch.

“Do you have a big family?” Sanati asked. Her gaze became focused, studying the house closely.

“I’m the eldest, but I’m also the only male. I have five younger sisters.” You explained to her.

“I have five siblings also,” Sanati chuckled. She then turned her red eyes onto you. “Forgive me, I didn’t assume you were the eldest. You seem rather-”

You shook your head to stop her. “No, I get it. Follow me, I’ll show you around.” You took her around the farm, showing here where the rustlers broke in last time and where your father was having a stone wall erected.

“What did they take?” Sanati’s eyes focused beyond the wall.

“Most of our horses,” you replied. “Lots of equipment.” You crossed your arms and frowned. “They threatened to come back.”

“Did any of your family get hurt?” Sanati focused on you again, making the hairs on the back of your neck bristle. “Since you have so many women at home, it wouldn’t be surprising they were after them as well.”

“That’s what frightens me,” you shuddered. “If they come back this time, they’ll come to the house and-” You stopped cold in tracks and your eyes wandered off into the forest behind the new wall.

Sanati clapped her strong hand upon your shoulder and it pulled your focus away from your worst nightmare. “I can set up a tent near your home. I can also set alarms around the building. And if you like, I can even teach your sisters a few things to they can protect themselves should the worst possibly happen.”

“I don’t want it to get to that point. But-” You frowned and scratched at your neck where the chills collected the most. “How much are your services?”

“Three meals a day along with two gold pieces. Every intruder or threat I take down is another two gold pieces.” She rattled this off like she had been saying it her whole life.

“Fair to me.” You extended your hand to her. “If you need anything else, you just let me know. As far as my father is concerned, I hired you just to watch my mother and sisters.”

Sanati took your hand and shook it. “Glad to be onboard.”

Of course, your father was livid that you hired a woman as a guard. But since you were paying her, he just laughed that you were wasting your money. Your sisters were grateful and even fascinated by Sanati. Your mother was hesitant at first, a bit leery but after a while she grew to appreciate having Sanati around.

Sanati set up homemade alarms which would rattle and make noise when a string was touched. She also taught your sisters how to use kitchen knives to defend themselves when your father wasn’t around. Sanati taught them how to break out of holds they might encounter, as well as spots to strike which could give them time to run away.

It surprised you how grateful Sanati was to be there. It was work after all, but there was a sense of relief about her that made you think for her it was something else. And while you wanted to remain professional with her, you were becoming aware of a growing attraction to her.

After getting yelled at by your father one evening, you turned around to see Sanati there. You stifled back the tears, sucked in your gut, and forced down the anger. “I’ll get your supper in a moment,” you said to her.

“I’m not worried about that. And I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to over hear.” She approached you with a gentle expression on her face. “Why does he call you such names?”

You looked up at her, her gentle gaze far too much to bear. You sat down by the barn and she joined you. “I’m more like my sisters than I am my father. I like to keep my hair long. I like to wear things I shouldn’t. I like to feel beautiful like my sisters do.”

Sanati’s expression didn’t change at all. “I see. Your father doesn’t understand how you feel.”

“He thinks a man should be a man. But I think there is no right way to be a person.” You then sighed heavily and buried your face into your hands.

“I was always the gentle one,” Sanati murmured. “But in my family that wasn’t acceptable. You had to be merciless. Had to fight. So I did. I tried to become the things my siblings were. I fought so hard no one could beat me. But I couldn’t take it anymore.”

“What happened?”

Sanati leaned back against the barn and turned her eyes up to the sky. “My eldest sister found out I was planning to run away. It was the hardest fight of my life, but I knocked her out and was able to run away.” You can see small tears in Sanati’s eyes. “But I don’t have to fight anymore. I don’t have to keep up that pace.”

“I can’t run away though,” you murmured. “My mother and my sisters don’t care how I want to be. And if I’m gone my dad will try and force my eldest sister to marry just so he has a male to pass the farm on to. I can’t force her into that life.”

“That’s why I like your family. Well, most of them anyways. Your sisters have been a bright spot here.” Sanati then smiled at you. “I’m curious though, do you wish to be a sister as well?”

You shook your head. “No. It’s just that, some days are different. Some days I want to be masculine, other days I wish to be like my sisters.”

“One foot in both,” she murmured.

“I hope you don’t think differently of me because of it.” You suddenly felt afraid. “I would hate to become a joke to you.”

“I do think differently of you now,” Sanati replied cooly. “I think you’re much stronger than I first assumed.”

A chill went down your spine.

“I admire that.” She clapped her hand upon your shoulder. “Maybe one day, you can share your other side with me.”

Your heart hammered and your face went prickly with heat as you looked at her. Sanati had your heart wrapped in a vice, and she might never know. So, one evening, when the house was quiet and your father snuffed out his candle, you went to visit Sanati in her tent. You were dressed in a white nightgown covered with stitched daisies. Your hair was down and falling off your shoulder in waves.

“Sanati,” you said at the tent, “it’s me, may I come in.”

“Just a second,” she sounded flustered. “Okay, you can come in.”

You pushed back the flap and stood there, seeing she was holding her tunic shut around her chest. She looked at you then her eyes widened and mouth held open.

“You wanted to see,” you said breathlessly. You step inside her tent. “This is mostly what I can do around the house.”

Sanati tied her tunic back loosely and looked you over. “You look the same, yet so different at the same time.” You noticed her cheeks turned a darker shade. “You do look very beautiful.”

Your heart was wildly thrumming. “Thank you. Aside from my sisters, you’re the only one I’ve shown this to.”

“I’m honored.” Sanati cleared her throat and her eyes shifted.

“If I’m bothering you I can leave,” you offered.

Sanati looked scared. “No! Please, stay. The company is nice.” She smiled at you then quickly looked down. “It gets lonely out here.”

You smoothed your palm down your chest. “It gets lonely in there.”

Sanati looked up at you. “Then stay as long as you like. I’m up late anyways.” She sat down on the edge of her cot and her tunic billowed open. You saw the curve of her breast before she went to cover herself.

“What do you do out here?” You ask, pulling up a bucket to sit on.

“I listen,” she murmured. “I’ve become familiar with how the farm sounds at night, so I keep watch for anything that is unfamiliar now.”

“Don’t you get bored?”

“Sometimes.” Sanati shrugged. “But I feel at peace here.” She looked at you then pointed. “Your face is quite red. Are you okay?”

You touched your cheek. “Oh, yeah, I’m fine. Just a little embarrassed is all.”

Sanati chuckled. “What for? I think you look stunning.”

You shook your head. “It’s not that. It’s that-” You don’t want to broach this topic. It makes you far too nervous. But if you can’t tell her now, then you may never get the chance again. Sanati is kind and gentle, while also being so strong and intelligent. You find her to be a remarkable beauty, and no one else in the world has made your blood sing like her.

“My feelings for you go beyond friendship,” you admitted. “I am more than fond of you and I don’t wish to unease you or make you think worse of me. But I adore you so much-”

Sanati looked taken aback, but then she nodded and covered her face with her hands. “I’ve never been confessed to before. This is new.” She peered between her fingers at you. “Or at least, I’ve never felt reciprocated.”

Your heart leapt through your lungs and into your throat. “Reciprocated?”

Sanati nodded, moving her hands away. “You’re so lovely that when I first saw you I wanted to touch you and carry you away. I’ve always been weak for such pretty, shiny things.”

You stood up and went to her side, sitting next to Sanati you placed your hand over hers. She then held it back and met your eyes with a smile. You tilted your chin up, she leaned down. Your lips brushed against her tusk first before finding her lips. She was soft at first, moving in and placing her hand around your face. She then nipped and your whole body shuddered.

“You twitched,” she whispered.

“Sorry,” you chuckled. “That was new.” You licked your lips and looked into her ruby eyes again. “It felt good though.”

Sanati smirked, going in for another kiss.

After that night, kisses were stolen all around the farm. In corners and behind hay bales. She felt so good in your arms, and her touch felt so needed on your body. Somedays, you found it was hard to stop the kisses.

“We’re getting too bold.” Sanati said one day. You hadn’t kissed yet, but she was already aware that if you did, you’d both not want it to end. “I dreamt of you last night.”

Your heart surged. “You did?”

Sanati nodded, looking shy. “I did. And you were quite the naughty thing.”

You bit your lip and moved in closer to her. “Do I need to apologize for dream me’s behaviour.”

Sanati shook her head and leaned down, pressing her lips against your ear. “No. Because I goaded you on.”

You pulsed with the thrill of it. “What’d you do to me?”

Sanati’s eyes darted around to make sure no one was watching. She then stroked her hand down your chest and to your thigh, her fingers tracing the shape of you. “I called you beautiful as I touched you. I pampered you and complimented you until you became rock hard in my fist.”

You shuddered, all your chills were going down from your neck and through your spine. “What did I do?”

“You were mine,” she purred. “And you came when bit you.”

“Sanati,” you whimpered. You were desperate for her.

She suddenly stiffened and moved away from you, turning away as your father came into the barn. He scowled upon seeing you both. He grabbed a pitch fork from the wall, glaring at Sanati as she walked away.

“Don’t you think it’s time to send that one off? I don’t think we’ll be needing her.” Your father sneered, leaving the barn and shutting the door with a sound snap.

You followed after Sanati, who was heading to check some of her alarms in the woods. She adjusted the string and watched as you approached.

“Sorry, I may have pushed that a little too far,” she breathed.

“It’s okay.” You motioned into the woods. “There’s a lake nearby if you’d like to go for a walk or something.”

Sanati nodded her head. “That sounds nice.”

You took her hand, holding it tenderly as you showed her to the old path. It was worn smooth by time, after all the trips your family took to this lake in youth. You came upon the crystal clear waters and Sanati let out a heavy sigh.

“What’s wrong?” You asked.

Sanati laughed. “Oh nothing. Just my own...desires, I suppose.” She smiled down shyly at you. “I want to enjoy our time together. But being alone with you feels dangerous.”

“It’s not dangerous when I want the same thing.” You reached up and touched her face. “I want you to goad me.”

Sanati smiled and placed her hands around your hips, moving her fingers onto your rear. “Are you sure?”

You motioned to the rocks around the lake. “There’s a cave back there. We can swim to it.” You start undressing and once you naked you step into the water and hold out your hand to her. “Come with me.”

Sanati’s smile was bright and beautiful as she reached out to take your hand. But just as your skin touched, she stiffened. Her head jerked as she looked the way you came. You began to ask her what it was when you heard the rattling of the alarms she had made.

“Get dressed!” Sanati was already leaving that moment behind and preparing herself for something else.

“Go on without me!” You bent over to gather up your clothes. “I’ll be right behind you!”

“Be careful!” Sanati urged before going back into the woods.

It was still daylight out, whatever triggered the alarm could have been anything. But Sanati was doing her job, she was taking this very seriously. You got on your pants when you heard a scream coming from the farm. You ran, not worrying about your shirt as it flapped in the wind.

As you came upon the house you saw your youngest sister crouched down behind a tree. You rushed to her, holding her close. “Go to the lake and hide in that cave we went to before. Okay?” You instructed her. “If none one comes to get you, go to the village.”

“Sanati’s in there alone!” She cried.

“It’s okay.” You kissed her forehead. “Hurry. Get to that cave, now!”

She ran and you rushed to the house. Inside you heard fighting, struggling. On the porch there was a rustler laid over the steps, unconscious or dead, you had no time to figure it out. You ran inside, seeing Sanati fending off a rustler from the back. Your father was on the ground by the door, slouched over. Just as you went to grab him you were struck in the back. You turned around, swinging. Able to knock your attacker off balance.

Sanati threw the one she was fighting, chucking him into the one you were up against. “There’s two more outside!” She shouted.

You turned your attention upon your father. He was conscious, but he was bleeding heavily. “Dad, c’mon. Let me get you out of here.”

He slapped your hand away. “Go get the others,” he coughed. “The ones I hired.”

“There is no time for that! Let me get you out of here.”

“Don’t fuck around, son,” he wheezed, salvia and blood on his lip. “Go get help and get it fast. Those slobs are probably still asleep.”

You’re pulled back into the fray, but luckily Sanati is able to pull them away. You run from the house, everything moving in such a mad blur you can’t take it all in. You’re not even sure what was happening at the house, it all bled together in speed and panic. You rushed to the shed where the guards your father hired were supposed to be. Unfortunately, none of them were there. There wasn’t time to look for them, or go to the village to drag them back. You found their weapons though, and you took two of them; a sword and a club.

Your heart was racing, pounding so hard you felt it might explode. Your family was in danger, your dad was hurt. Santi was fighting them all alone. As you came back to the house you see that Sanati had thrown one of the rustlers through the window. You’re about to run back inside when you remember there are two more out there. But it’s either searching for them, or going inside to help Sanati protect your mother and sisters. You drop the sword on the porch, taking the club with you inside the house. Sanati is trying her hardest to block the door with her body, fighting off the rustlers that remain inside. Your father is nowhere to be found, but you have very little time to wonder where he is. It all goes by in blurs again. Everything happened so fast and yet so slowly. You were running out of breath, your lungs were on fire. Your body ached horribly and yet you continued to fight, to swing that club.

When you fell it was like lightning hitting your body. You hit the ground and didn’t realize it at first. You were dragged backwards out of the house, pulled onto the porch where the rustler had you in his grasp. You struggled trying to fight back, to gain ground again. But he had you on your stomach, his hand on the back of your head. You felt something warm and wet on your back. The hand came loose and when you looked up you saw a sword jutting from the rustler’s chest. He fell off you and you father collapsed to his knees.

“Get inside, hurry.” He was bloodied up too and he fell next to the rustler.

A second later, your mother rushed out from inside the house. Sanati was carrying one of your little sisters in her arms. “You don’t have time, we need to get out of here now!” Sanati said urgently.

“I told Claudia to go to the lake.” You were somehow lost in time, unable to feel anything or take in at all what was happening. Your mother was picking your father up off the porch. Your sisters were gathered around Sanati like hens.

You helped your mother to pick up your father. His eyes focused for a moment, smiling at your mother then he frowned at you. “Don’t let me down,” he croaked. “You did good today. Keep it up.”

“Dad-” You felt yourself choke up as his eyes faded. They looked up towards the sky, clear one minute and then clouded the next. “What-”

“We have to go!” Sanati urged. “I’m sorry but we need to get out of here now.”

“Go to the lake!” You sobbed. “Just go!”

Sanati and your sisters ran, leaving you and your mother alone. You carried your father away from the porch, placing him by the house near his tool shed. You laid him there in the shade, covering his face with your mother’s handkerchief.

“We would all be gone had she not shown up.” Your mother looked sober as she knelt there. Tears were in her eyes, but she was not in the hysterics you felt. “She kept us safe all that time. Kept them away from the door. He went to get the others, but they were gone.”

You furrowed your brow. “What?” You looked at her confused. “He told me to get the others though. Why would he send me out there if he knew there wouldn’t be anyone?”

Your mother looked at you. “To protect you, I suppose.”

The two of you left, meeting up near the lake with the rest of your family. You stayed in the village, kept by a family you were close to. You went back to the farm though, along with a group of others to do a sweep and make sure it was safe. You sat on the porch when you returned. Your family was all trying to rest inside, and you did have the strength to open the door and see them.

“Are you alright?”

You looked up at Sanati. “I don’t know if I can repay you.”

Sanati sat beside you, taking your hands. “That’s not what I asked.” Her knuckles were wrapped. There were bruises on her face. She fought so hard and yet it looked like she barely suffered anything above a scrape. You fell into her arms, weeping hard against her chest. She held you close, her strong arms supporting you as you let it all bleed from your body.

Your father was buried behind the house and your sisters planted herbs around his grave so that, in a way, he was still always taking care of you. You took over the farm, entrusting Sanati to hire a crew to protect the farm that lived up to her standards. A month went by and things felt, for the moment, as normal as they could be.

You went to the guest house that was now Sanati’s home and knocked on her door. She had been expecting you. Her hair was down and free from her braid. “Come on in.”

“Thank you.” You watch her as she goes to the fireplace, taking the kettle out. “I don’t need any tea tonight. I just want to spend some time with you.”

Sanati smiled. “Then sit down. I’ll braid your hair for you.”

You took a seat and she stood behind you, taking your hair down from under your hat and brushing it out. She turned the mess into silky gossamer with her brush, then combed her fingers along your scalp to separate the strands. She worked your hair into a beautiful braid, letting it lay over your shoulder.

“What else can I do?” She kissed the back of your neck, making you shiver.

You bit your lip, then turned your eyes upon her, meeting her kiss as she dipped down. She ran her hands down your body, undoing the laces of your tunic and touching your bare skin. She opened your pants, pulling you from inside.

“Sanati-” Your voice caught in your throat.

She kissed your ear and neck. “Get hard for me,” she commanded.

You moaned, rolling your hips to meet her fingers. “Yes, of course.”

Sanati turned your head back, kissing you hungrily as she stroked you. “You’re so beautiful,” she purred. “Every inch of you is so lovely. Soft skin. Shining hair. Gentle fingers.” She bit the tip of your ear. “My own little princess.”

You shuddered, her words arousing you even more than her hand.

“Good boy,” she growled into your ear. “You’re getting so hard. Even your cock is beautiful. So curved and elegant.” She cups her hand around your mouth when your lips part to moan. “Pretty things like you deserve to be pampered.”

“I want you,” you breathed raggedly.

“How do you want me?” Sanati moves away from you and lays down upon the bed. She posed in such a way, your eyes were only focused on her. Her toned and muscular body, mingled with the curves of her feminine form, drew you in. You move to her embrace, touching her and licking her where you could reach. You snuggled between her thighs, happy to have them crush your skull as tasted the fruit of her loins.

“Lovely,” Sanati murmured. “So lovely.” She captured your braid, pulling it as you pressed your tongue between her folds. The sharp tug of your hair made you moan against her, causing her hips to tighten. You loved this moment, making her feel just as soft and vulnerable as she made you.

“My pretty one,” she eventually moaned. “Hurry to me.”

You rose from between her thighs, mouth wet but you were barely sated. “Like this tonight?” He licked your lips.

She nodded. “I want to see you above me tonight.”

You kneaded your hands into Sanati’s highs, smiling down upon her. “I like seeing you with your hair spilled upon the pillows like this.” You move between her legs, placing  your cock upon her mound. You rutted back and forth there, enjoying the view before you looked into her eyes. You took your shaft into your palm, stroking yourself as you poised yourself for entrance. You loved the expression on her face, timid yet eager.

“Now,” Sanati demanded.

You smiled, moving your hand away as you slipped inside her. You felt the velvety coils of her inner walls and they sprung to tighten around you, She beckoned you deeper inside, which you eagerly gave. Despite the difference in size between the two of you, you fit together like a puzzle. Making love to her was like finding the other half of you. Sanati grabbed hold of your braid again, pulling you down to kiss you and beg for more. She liked you rough, you liked her teasing you.

When your release was fast approaching, she kept you close. Locking you in place. Sometimes she liked to finish you with her mouth, sometimes on her breasts. Tonight, she did not want you going anywhere, she only wanted you inside her. It was a rush all of its own. Once you finally felt that deep spasm in the groin, she tightened again, taking everything you had to give her, pleasure and seed.

Her breath beside you stirred you, reminding you she was waiting for your kiss. She giggled softly as you pecked her cheek, turning her head to bite your neck playfully.

“Marry me,” you begged her quietly.

“I said yes a long time ago, why must you keep asking?” Sanati smiled brightly.

“I don’t know. I feel like I am dreaming each day.” You looked out the window. “I fear I’ll wake up and see my father die again.”

“That won’t happen,” Sanati murmured. “I won’t let it.”

You rolled back into her arms. “I love you.”

Sanati knew your heart break and grief, and she had been your rock through this past month. You had asked her to marry you just a week ago, giving her your mother’s ring, which he had to wear on a chain around her neck. “Yes, this I know too. I love you, my pretty thing. We belong together, and we shall stay together.”
