Dev-Log 20th August - Player Base

Hi,

considering there's a lot of wealthy players I thought a base might be nice. I also received that idea from quite a few players now. Played a bit around with isometric elements today in Blender.

Here's the outline

Will think a bit about it but that might be the major mechanics update for V0.10.

Some features i like to have in wouldn't really work well on a station (the personal jump gate, the hostile incursions, ...) I think.

Not to put a damper on this idea, while I like it, could you not have implemented these idea's on a space station? I think it would be more conveiniant that way as they would be close to an entertainment district bars, as well as the commerce district for merchants and the like as well as living quarters.

I think it would be a fun idea to incorporate a simple management sim for the base. I'm thinking something like a "pleasure palace" (strip club, brothel, etc.) that extra bots, girls, both can work at for extra income. Different customers come looking for a good time and you match the right bots for the customers, etc. Add on different rooms, elements, etc. as your club expands. Maybe throw in a bar and have a drink mixing mini game with a sexy bartender. Fun times.
