With her spacecraft I went full on retro (Barbie in Space...).

There will be a new additional fast forward start point (day 45) if you only want to go for the new stuff. Also, all bots and items can be carried forward into your new game via the pod, so make sure you make the pod. The raw saves will unfortunately not be usable.
