Hi,
today I finished missing locations and sprites required for Khelara joining the crew (and a new Galaxina episode screen...)
Also continued with testing the integrated combat system, including deciding on a mechanic for defeat, which will be simply emergency warp and loss of a few subunits.
I also did the last animation for V0.5. (hooray!) There's a bunch of minor tie-ins missing (auto weapon loadout job for Khelara, ...), which I can finish tomorrow. Including two days of my own testing after code complete, this means
In case beta runs very smoothly, maybe I can advance one day again.
I massively underestimated the integration time with a ton of CRQ I started at the same time and had to put in some crunch to not let the delay get out of hand (but nowhere as bad as game devs at major companies are forced to do...)
V0.6. will definitely focus on consolidation. That will allow for much more lewd content and implementation of some great ideas I received (idle anim of completed bots, better mob AI-tactics for the combat game, etc.).
