The making of a file

In case you ever wondered why hypnosis files are as rare as they are, let me show you what goes into them. This is the Beta edit of HFO Recursion.

After spending a few days working on a script, I recorded the whole thing 3 times, in three tones of voice. I then had 4 audacity tabs open. One of the harsher tone, one more normal voice, one softer.

And then this- the master file where I put it all together.

For every single individual clip you see in the image, I had to individually go through a process.

Step 1- Listen to the part before it

Step 2- Listen to all three versions of the bit I want

Step 3- Pick one

Step 4- Select it out, and copy it

Step 5- Paste it in

Step 6- Re-listen to the part before it and current

Step 7- Adjust as necessary, sync where needed

Step 8- Repeat a thousand times

This is just the hypnosis part of the file that I finished today. I still have to add in an intro, and an after talk.

If all goes well in the beta testing, it should be out for my patrons this weekend.

I may make a second version that skips the intro for repeated listens and post it for my extra content folks.

This is a confusion induction and deepener... made for the logical, made for the analytical, made for guys and girls.

This is what a mind fuck looks like in picture form.

Hope you have a good week :)

What, you mean pumping out these recordings isn't easy peasy?! /s Seeing how difficult these are to make adds a lot of worth to each active listen. And not only is it hard to make one file in particular, but then you have to consider a whole new formula for a different file type/theme, no?

Ah, having written song and recorded music in Audacity, this makes perfect sense, and of course you enter this interesting place of anticipating and cooperating with your recorded past selves...

Gosh I never even imagined what a hypno track looks like! Thanks for sharing, I knew hypno files took a lot of work but never really visualized it before. I can't imagine how tough it is to pick so many tiny samples from different recordings and have them line up perfectly. Along with the time writing and recording everything multiple times, this must have taken forever! Really appreciate the amount of work you put into each audio, it's what makes your files my favorite!

Having just listened to the beta, let me just say, I am now a fan of confusion inductions... Shibby style.
