Genau das habe ich auch bei der Zusammenarbeit mit Troy aus New York erlebt, der extra für das Shooting mit Anastasia angereist war. In diesem Frankfurter Studio hat er mir neue Impulse gegeben – einfach nur dadurch, dass er diese Truhe verwenden wollte, die ich sonst immer aus dem Bild geschoben habe.

What’s interesting about working with other photographers is that they sometimes see locations you’ve used for ages in a completely new light—and use them in ways you never would have thought of yourself. That’s exactly what happened when I worked with Troy from New York, who had traveled all the way here for a shoot with Anastasia. In this Frankfurt studio, he brought some fresh ideas to the table—simply by wanting to use a trunk that I usually just push out of the frame.
