Project canceled

Hi guys,

as I anticipated in the last release post I decided to suspend the project indefinitely. It is basically a cancellation, since I don't see any chance of it being resumed in the near future, even if the page will remain for those who want to try it.
I wanted to release one last build before quitting, the Regolo Engine S 2.0, but this month I got Covid and I'm still feeling sick (albeit negative for a couple of days), so I decided to anticipate the stop and end it here.

Regolo Engine S 1.50 out in about a week, so...

...so I will pause billing this month, as usual.

I was really close to finish everything before the end of the month but the new features need more time, hence the delay.

I'm sorry about it but I'm working on fancy stuff lately and the risk of delivering a broken build is high without proper testing.

who read the latest release posts knew some important changes were in the air, and infact here we are. Regolo Engine gets an additional "S", focuses on Simulation and starts a new cycle. This begins with the features that have been more quiet during these last months: audio and communication.

Beside this, a rework of the engine to isolate the Simulation part was no joke. Also, the release number means that's there's a leap forward but still not completed. You will see oth...

it has been a long wait but I finally have something to show you. I encountered a lot of different barriers along the way and it took some time to (partially) overcome them.

I can't wait to tell you the whole story!

In the meanwhile I had fun creating a (not so) cryptic hint for you.

...because I'm working on new important features and unfortunately I will not complete them this month.

It seems the extra work done on February to realign didn't help so much, uh 😂. But it's ok, I'm really excited about the new stuff, even if VaM doesn't make things easy.

I don't want to anticipate too much, you know I like surprises, I'm confident many of you will appreciate it though. You will find out soon but there's no eta on this yet, I hope middle of April but there'...

Ok guys, it's official, I have serious difficulty not adding stuff for even a month. Let's call it "feature addiction" 😂 .
So 1.27 will have its surprises as always. I think I did not take the best screenshot for this one but ok, one could guess.

Anyway, 1.27 will be out before the end of the month, so be ready!
