Pause for August
Added 2024-07-21 00:39:47 +0000 UTCThe next month of August will be paused from billing. I need a break to reassess whether or not the patreon is worth it, monetary-wise right now, and also to simply recharge. Updates have been slipping as of recently and I need a little time to readjust. As of right now, I don't think it's really worth the amount of effort vs. the money in return. I'll put out a post about my decision sometime in August, more than likely.

I agree with Silver Gold here. (a) I will support you no matter what, be it financially or emotionally, and (b) you are putting out a LOT of art for what your tier prices are.

2024-07-24 23:45:48 +0000 UTCI’ll support whatever you plan to do, and I’ll say that the “return in investment” we get by subscribing here feels unfair to you for how much quality stuff you put out. Slowing down/doing less at the same price point we’re currently at would make sense to me, if you decide to keep the Patreon going. I love your work for the obvious reasons we all love it here, but beyond that I really like the worlds you’ve created with both the Lauren and Big Dig comics. I hope I don’t sound selfish, but I hope you continue with those no matter what you decide on doing.

Timed exclusives (you might be doing that already, I'm not on X), work files/sketches/drafts on a higher tier, more teasing and advertisement for the Patreon ("Wanna see her pop earlier? Subscribe to Patreon!"). Full disclosure I'm jealous of the people who got a monthly comm slot but I think it's priced way too low. And as other people said, do what makes you comfortable and don't burn yourself out. Your pics are great and I'm happy to support you!

2024-07-21 01:51:01 +0000 UTCIf it's an option I wouldn't mind settling for less for $5 a month. You're output has been pretty breakneck all things considered. With Lauren, Big-Dig, and the character polls that's 3 major projects you're juggling at once. Maybe push one of those to bi-monthly as a start and that should give you some more breathing room for further changes.
