First, we have the forest ranger unit. As you can see, they are much more dynamic than the archer unit we already had. They are designed to operate as skirmishers, bringing versatility and mobility to the battlefield.

Anything modular requires reducing the sculpting detail to make the cuts, so we prefer to create the best possible models and sacrifice modularity. This unit consists of 6 models, plus 1 hero that can be used with them without any issues. By mirroring the models, you can have 12 without altering the officers, which is more than enough for most lists. If we wanted to make them modular, the heads would need to be much more rigid, the cloaks couldn’t be integrated with the hoods and face wrap, and the arms would constrain the position of the cloaks. It would come at a very high cost in terms of sculpting quality.
