The Bannerman: Hippogriph

Hey Guys,

First of all, sorry for being a bit absent. Today we just got back from the Freak Wars, which were a tremendous success, and in a couple of days I hope to catch up. There are emails and private messages still unanswered, so I ask for a bit of patience with them :)

Now, thinking about the upcoming month, here we have the WIP of the Hippogriff from a unit you'll receive this month. I know in most rulebooks it doesn’t have rules, but since I also know many of you are fans of Total War, I'm sure you'll find a use for it.

This unit will be accompanied by the trebuchet and archers, so most of the options for the Neverra army lists will be covered.

We still have a few options left for themed lists, and we'll include them in a release further down the line. But I believe the army is now 100% functional.

Honestly base size is the only important thing game-wise for Old World. It almost entirely runs on that. So I would say just make the model your style that fits with your army scale that you've done so far. Perhaps a bigger breed of Pegasus or such for sure, but I think when you do whole armies its better that you stick to your scale and style. If GW soft updates the size of most things - which honestly I'd kind of expect them to do even if it was just giving riders bigger mounts (lots of the old ones are honestly pretty tiny) at least your army fits with itself and that honestly is what's all important.

Tal vez pegasos más "ornitológicos" como el del mago imperial, que tiene plumas por el cuerpo. 🤷

Errants and Young Knights could be a great project

It is definitely an interesting design choice they made. Could maybe rationalize it if we assume Royal is something larger like a draft horse or Clydesdale and a normal is closer to an Arabian. My only concern is that they are a staple in almost every list at the moment, so it's a bit of a gap :)

We interpret that the Errant Knights can be assembled with certain head choices from the Household Knights from one of the earlier months. We can consider a specific unit in the future if you’d like, but it wasn't part of our plans. As for the Royal Pegasus, we still need to think about it. It's essentially a covert scale increase with rules, similar to what GW did with the Primaris. I don't want to follow their path, so we need to consider how to design a different type of Pegasus that makes sense—not just increasing the scale of the models. (Because the worst part is that they've increased the scale of both the Pegasus and the rider while keeping the relative scale between the two the same.) It's not even a bigger Pegasus.
