2021-07-03 21:14:31 +0000 UTCThe problem with modularity is that it requires the same amount of time as an almost complete sculpture, and it also burdens us with many limitations in the posing, which affect the quality of the miniature. When we read your comments, we understand that one of the things you like in our minis is the naturalness of the poses. We achieve this by means of a renaissance system called contrapposto. The contrapposto is based on 2 main elements. Misalign hips, waist and shoulders. Basculate the muscles of legs and arms based on the weight of the body. Of all this, a multipose only allows to misalign the waist. In addition, fabrics cannot be sculpted in the same way, since gravity and inertia have to be at the service of compatibility and not of the natural finish. And it is for these reasons that we try not to make multi-poses in 3d. Even when we give you a variation like Lord Arcadius, if possible we integrate the variation into a larger piece. Lord Arcadius has a complete torso just to put the helmet on, because that guarantees that the integration of the head is much better than if we just give you a modular head.
