As you all might know, we have been working behind the scenes on the new RPG. You might also know about how we ran into difficulties in trying to make the RPG with the same high detail look that the Glimmer Deck has, and that it turned out to be WAY more than two people could handle.
So...

Instead of scrapping our story ideas, settings, game play ideas, etc. that we've already spent time coming up with, we are still moving ahead with the RPG, but using a different visual style.
A retro-style, top down sexy cyberpunk JRPG, if you will. Think NES, SNES, Genesis era RPGs. Doing the game in 2D with that style (which we are super fans of!) is a much more manageable task for such a small team. It will still take time, but it's totally doable, whereas the high-end style we'd planned for originally is... well... not.
Based on public and private feedback we've got, we understand that not everyone is totally into that particular style of game (we certainly are!), so before we put too much work into it we wanted to ask you, our lovely patrons, what you think. Are you as excited as we are to play a really cool sexy cyberpunk 2D retro JRPG?
And/or...

In 2010 we released a game called SexSim. If you're not familiar with it, check it out. It's pretty cool. It's similar to FLSM: Glimmer Deck, in that you can create characters and then they, uhm, have sex. It's not sci-fi based, though, and it does have a bit more, I guess, personality(?) than the Glimmer Deck has, in some ways. It's also a lot less high detail and thus more enjoyable and feasible to work on from our side. Again, take a look. :)
Anyway, we have been wanting to create a sort of spiritual successor to SexSim for a long time now. Something similar but with newer ideas, a newer style, and, well, a lot more sexy fun.
We can work on two games at once, so that's a possibility. We could do the RPG and the newer SexSim style game. If we do that it would of course mean more time between updates for each game, as we'd be split between the two of them. But it is possible.
And let's not forget...

I'm still plugging away at the Glimmer Deck, of course. Due to the high definition/high detail style of the game and its framework, it is taking longer and longer to create updates for it. Every thing I want to put in requires a tremendous effort to make sure everything else still works properly.
It's not an easy game to work on, and that's why it takes a lot more time between updates. Anyway, yes, I am still working on it when I can, but as we've moved forward with newer projects it's been less of a focus, as you know.
Okie doke...

With all of that said, we'd like to know what you think. What do you want to see? Please vote to let us know!!
Thanks so much for your continued support!
