We're wrapping up the latest update, and among other additions there is some new hair. FLSM supporter Silver Dragon recommended that we include some African American hair styles, and we thought hell yeah. Here's one of them on a character named Rayne I made in the Character Editor.

Just a note about the roadmap post. I'm going to wait for ViV to get back before I finish it up. It's too difficult to do it via email since she's really busy right now where she's at. So, we're looking at closer towards the 23rd or so. In the mean time I'm still busting my butt finishing up this latest update.

Your support is greatly appreciated, most definitely. Regarding a "roadmap", I'm (Giselle) writing up a sort of "State of the Union" post that should help clarify what we've been doing, where we're going, etc. ViV is currently out of town so when I finish it up I'll have to send it to her to look over before posting it. I hope to get it posted within the next few days.

I'm with you MoarPye. I've been waiting for these feature too, but they take time and money to develop. I've been holding back my pledge to wait and see if they'll commit to these features before I throw more money at this project. Maybe it makes sense to increase my pledge now so they have the funds to develop.

I'm excited by the fact that this means you can potentially generate NPCs with the character editor. Procedurally generated characters would add some variety to the encounters.

I was a $5 backer for four months, so not much of a contribution in the overall scheme of things, but I'm still following your progress and I keep hoping I'll see something to bring me back again. The changes so far this year seem to be largely cosmetic tinkering. A few new characters, some additional art assets, some work on the character editor and the like... I'm really curious to know if anything more is happening with the 'big picture' progress? When I first signed up I was super excited about the idea of a fully realised 'Space Opera With Sex' game, and back in mid-2015 the Patreon threads were conversations on things like dialogue trees, seduction and item use, or possible combat systems (I seem to recall Giselle wanted some kind of FPS rather than turn-based combat). Is the Space Opera thing still the ultimate goal for FLSM? If so how are those -other- systems coming along? The ones that aren't focused on character design and animation?
