Werewolf Boyfriend: Finn 4 (rough draft)
Added 2020-10-05 20:00:02 +0000 UTCThings have been so hectic as of late that Finn and I haven’t even gotten married. We have a ring, although due to some swelling, I’ve not been able to wear it. Between building the addition to the house, nesting, and everything it takes to welcome a baby into the world, we just lost track of time.
Our daughter Merethe was born on a particularly humid day. I was absolutely soaked with sweat by the time we go to the hospital. She came out with little to no fuss despite all the issues I had during the pregnancy. She was healthy, strong, and completely bald, as well as being a rather large baby. I was in such a swirl of hormones and emotions at the time, that when I first held her, i cried because she didn’t have any hair.
I had been prepared for postpartum depression long before this, it had affected my mother I’m certain, so I was ready with the doctors to combat this. Finn was ready too, and had read every book on postpartum depression as well as everything else to prepare for Merethe.
When we brought her home it was a relief. Being in the hospital felt to unsure, but being home felt more grounded, more certain. If I was home, tha meant nothing was wrong aside from what we expected.
I was on bed rest for a while, but I had Finn with me often, and when he couldn’t be, we always had someone around. Shauna was there a lot, as she had dealt with similar things as me during pregnancy. She had been a valuable resource to me due to her postpartum depression.
Once I was able to walk around, I tried to busy myself when I wasn’t caring for Merethe. I cleaned like crazy, I organized everything to a point Finn couldn’t find things anymore. I even researched online for new healthier diets for Finn and me, even going so far as to order some of those meal delivery box subscriptions.
I think Finn noticed I was spiraling a little, so he took time off work, even hiring a new guy to take his place for a while. He stayed home, helping me through my need to stay busy, we learned baby massage from some online courses, and between Merethe’s feedings we did skin to skin contact bonding together. I was awed by Merethe laying on her father’s chest. Seeing that, and knowing Finn was around, really helped in my recovery.
Merethe was getting bigger by the day, and it took a while, but she eventually began growing platinum blonde hair that almost looked pure white. It grew in loose curls and tight ringlets, giving her a messy look even when he hair was cleaned and brushed. She also started walking sooner than we expected, and baby proofing was a mad dash to the finish line. For a while, I had to use hard ties and rubber bands to lock the cabinets.
One afternoon, Finn was taking care of Merethe while I went shopping alone. It was a breath of fresh air, but the entire time, I couldn’t help but miss my little family. I missed Merethe’s tiny smile and grabby hands, the way she would throw her head down against my chest and nuzzle like it’s the comfiest place on earth.
When I came home, I brought in the few bags by myself, knowing Finn and Merethe were probably napping. The house was quiet as I walked in, so I tip toed about to put the food away. As I was in the fridge, taking out old bread, Finn appeared in the kitchen.
“I have a question for you,” he whispers.
I look up and brush my hair aside. “Yes, I bought the cherry chocolate swirl you like so much.”
He grins. “That’s good, but has nothing to do with my question.” He walks around the counters to me and kneels back down on one knee. “Will you marry me tomorrow?”
I lose my breath and I can’t help but do anything but laugh.
“I’m serious, Aysle.” He squeezes my hand tight. “Let’s get married tomorrow we can go to the courthouse, invite whoever we want. We can get married now and later, if we want, we can have a beautiful ceremony.”
He looks excited and I could just about cry. “What brings this on?”
“I realized while you were away that I couldn’t stand another moment not being married to you.” He holds up my wedding ring and places it back on my finger. “Lene even said she would watch Merethe for the night so we could have a honeymoon.”
I bite my lip and nod. “Of course I want to marry you! I’m just surprised!”
Finn jumps up, hugging and kissing me. “I will handle everything, tell me what you want and I’ll do it. But I do have one request.” He walks over to the broom closet and from the top shelf I can never reach, he takes down a box. “Wear this.”
“How long have you been planning on popping this?” I take the box over to the kitchen table to open it.
“A lot longer than today.” Finn stands behind me, wrapping his arms around me. “Before Merethe was born, after she was born, three months ago.” He kisses the nape of my neck. “All my life.”
I turn to kiss him for being far too sweet. I open the box, seeing inside a beautiful white dress.
He kisses the top of my head. “Not a wedding dress, but I saw it on one of Lene’s sites and I knew it was for you.”
The dress had long sleeves of billowy organza that cuffed at the wrist. The organza draped down into the chest and bunched at the waist, trailing down into misty whisps and folds to give the illusion of full skirt. It was simple but beautiful.
I sniffle, quickly setting the dress back into the box I didn’t cry on it.
Finn pulls my hair back. “Do you like it?”
I whip around so I can hug him and squeeze him as much as possible. “It’s perfect! I can’t thank you enough.”
“I wanted to give you something special for the day, something I knew you would feel beautiful in.”
I sniffle and laugh as I pull back, grabbing a napkin to blot up my tears. “I’m getting you and Merethe for a life time, you didn’t need to give me the dress.”
Finn kisses my forehead as he rubs his hands up and down my arms. “You deserve a million dresses.”
“And where would but them?” I blubber and we both start laughing.
Just as we begin to kiss in earnest, Merethe starts fussing.
“I’ll go get here.” I give Finn one last kiss before I go into the bedroom to fetch Merethe and feed her.
The next morning, Finn goes to the jewelry store to get the weddings bands, meanwhile, Lene and I are at the courthouse waiting. I’ve gotten the paperwork together, and the people we’ve invited are waiting outside for us. All I need now is Finn, but something seems amiss.
“I’m sure he’s doing something stupid,” Lene scoffs. “Probably getting the ring engraved or he’s making them at the blacksmith shop.” She’s holding Merethe, bouncing her while she chews on one of her toes.
I look towards the entrance constantly. “He should be here by now,” I fret. “It shouldn’t have taken this long.” I’m growing more worried by the second. The jewelry store isn’t that far away, he should have been able to get the rings and come here even before the paperwork was dealt with.
I keep trying to chew my nails, but Lene stops me each time since we had gotten them done this morning. I hold Merethe for a while to distract me, but with each tick of the clock, my gut feels like its about to spill on the floor.
Lene’s phone rings and she gets a horrible look on her face. She scowls and answers. “Where the fuck are you, I swear to god I’m going-” She stops cold and starts nodding her head. “I’m still killing you.” She turns her phone off and comes to me. “We’re going to Hyacinth Farms.”
“What?” I scoff as I stand up.
“Don’t ask questions, he gae me zero answers. We just have to get everyone to go to Hyacinth Farms.” She leads the charge, heading outside and shouting out the new plan while I get Merethe in her carseat.
Lene drives me to Hyacinth Farms where, as soon as we come upon the farm house, I see a sea of balloons. There’s a path of white and pink balloons leading to the main barn where Remi is sitting with a bouquet in his mouth.
Remi trots up to me and nudges me to take the bouquet of wildflowers. Inside the barn there are candles lit, and soft music pouring out. Iver comes to me, taking my arm and leading me aside.
“Lets get everyone seated.” He gives me a wink, patting my hand as I watch everyone file into the barn.
“What is he doing?” I whisper to Iver. “When did he do all this?” Inside the barn, I hear the wedding march begin to play.
“You’ll see.” Iver takes me to the entrance, walking me up the aisle. The barn is filled with candles and more balloons. Standing at the end of the aisle I see Finn holding Merthe, and Mrs. Locklear dressed in a beautiful purple suit. My throat chokes up and I am so close to becoming a crying mess. I cling tight to Iver’s hand until I reach the end and he passes me to Finn.
“What is this?” I whisper to him.
He purses his lips and presses his finger to them. “Surprise.” He holds Merethe in his arm, while holding my hand with the other.
Mrs. Locklear is all smiles as she looks between us. “Now, I’ve married quite a few kids off in my time here. Each one seems the same, but each one is uniquely different. Every love story looks similar just from the cover, but it’s the pages inside that change everything competely. It’s the words spoken between us and the silences that sometimes follow. It’s the patter of rain on windows. It’s the sound of a coffee pot turning on first thing in the morning. There are so many words to describe love, and yet, we can never say it enough.” She stiffens and takes a deep breath.
“Today, we see a new chapter in the love story between Aysle and Finn, and well, little Merethe too. Today we celebrate, and tomorrow, they begin again.” Mrs. Locklear then takes Merethe so Finn can hold both my hands. “Finn, you have your vows ready?”
“You have vows?” I whimper.
Finn grins at me, giving my hands an affirming squeeze. “I believe as we grow, our vows will change. Nothing stays still, but I promise I will always be moving beside you. Whatever road we chose, whichever way the currents flow, I am by your side, making promises, changing plans, and keeping you forever in my heart. Whether my vows mean taking out the garbage or doing dishes, and if it changes to fixing bicyles and mowing the lawn, my vow to love you is unmoveable.”
Finn’s hand trembles as he puts the ring on my finger, and he tries to steady himself, but it only makes hims hake more.
I have tears running down my face as I look at him. “Me too,” is all I can squeak out, and a soft laughter ripples through the crowd.
I shake my head as I try to collect myself. “I came here to this town alone, but I’m never going to leave it that way. You are my peace, my rock, and I will hold on to you for dear life if I have to,” I laugh between my tears. “I will hold your hand through everything, and I will be your rock as much as you have been mine.”
“Mommy, mommy, dady, daddy.” Merethe begins to burble.
I smile so joyfully I can barely stand myself. “We will fight and we will cry, but my hand is always out stretched to you, forever and ever.” I place the ring on his finger, then lace our hands together.
Mrs. Locklear sniffles then smiles. “By the power invested in me by the state of North Carolina, I now pronounce you two husband and wife.” She grins brightly. “You may now kiss and start this new chapter.”
Finn picks me up off the ground spinning me as he kisses me. As he sets me down we take Merethe, kissing her on both her cheeks. We then leave the barn as streamers and bird seed are tossed over us.
There’s food being prepared in the farmhouse, as well as a tower of cupcakes. While Finn and I have a moment alone, the barn is being switched around to house the reception.
“When did you do this?” I wrap my arms tight around him. “I was so worried at the courthouse!”
“It was Shauna’s idea. She helped me throw this together over thelast few days.” He kisses my face all over. “Did you like it?”
“I just about died when I got here!” I take tissues and try to keep my makeup in place. “This was the sweetest, most remarkable thing you’ve ever done!”
“Well,” he takes Merethe, “aside from this one, I think it’s one of my best works.”
There’s a knock on the door and Lene pops her head in. “Reception is ready, we’re waiting on you two for a toast.”
In the barn, the chairs have been moved and there are tables set up. The tower of cupcakes is front and center, surrounded by an assortment of drinks and other snack foods. Finn and I give our toast, and I have my first sip of alcohol in over a year. It actually makes me quite tipsy real quick.
We dance and celebrate, having a wonderful time. Eventually, Finn and I hop into a car to go to our honeymoon. It’s only for two days, but I am still anxious to leave Merethe for the first time. Lene promises she will bring Merehte to us if we miss her too much.
We drive just a little outside of Hearthway Hollow to Camp Wolfpun. There, Finn has rented us a cabin just for the weekend.
“It’s not the honeymoon in Italy we talked about, but hopefully, it will do.” Finn says as we walk inside. There’s a gift basket on the table, filled with all sorts of fancy foods. There’s also a bottle of champagne and glasses sitting on the table.
I start to giggle. “Is it weird I’m nervous?”
Finn arches his brow at me, tossing our bag aside. “What’s to be nervous about?”
“It’s been a while since...you know.” I bit down on my lip. “Not to mention our first time married.” I press my palms against his chest. “What if it’s not as good as it used to be?”
“It was too good before to change just because of a marriage certificate.” Finn eases me to sitting on the bed. “I doubt there is anything that could change my desire for you, Aysel.”
“I’ve had a baby.”
“So have I?” He takes off his shirt and pats his stomach. “You’ve not said anything about my spare tire I’ve gotten since Merethe was born.”
I smile at him. “But she didn’t come out of your spare tire.”
Finn kneels down on the floor before me. “Vaginas are magic, what else can be said?” He takes my hands into his and kisses my knuckles. “Are you feeling up to it?”
I nod silently and cup my hands around his face. I run my fingers through his hair, down his neck, and knead them into his shoulders. He rises up, laying me down on the bed while he kisses me. His hair falls down around us like a canopy, shrouding the rest of the world away.
“My wife,” he whispers.
“My husband.” I paw at his chest and sides.
He leans down, pressing his lips against my ear. “I’m going to make you come so hard you get amnesia, then do it all again to make you remember. Got it?”
I bust out into a fit of laughter as he bites and tears his way down my body. He undresses me and rips off my panties with a snap. He then lets out a loud, dramatic gasp as he spreads my legs.
“What?” I freeze in worry.
“Holy shit,” he breathes. “It’s still so fucking cute.”
I bust out laughing again, slapping the top of his head until he goes in. His tongue and mouth press against me and I lose breath mid laugh. Have I gotten more sensitive since having Merethe? No. That’s not possible right? Then why does his mouth feel better than it did before? Maybe because it’s been so long, it’s like he’s eating me for the very first time.
I pull his hair, gasping for breath as his fingers stir me up. His tongue laps up the nectar and his growl vibrates all over my skin. His blue eyes flick up to me and I can tell he’s smiling.
“Let me catch my breath.” I try to sit up, but my arms are quivering.
He kisses my mound softly, his fingers move slow inside. “You taste even better than before. My beard is drenched.”
“Have you been practicing or something?” I swoon. “I swear, you’re better than I remember.” I prop myself up on pillows.
“Same to you.” He presses his tongue to my clit, then sucks it between his lips. I quiver, tighten, and arch off the bed. It had been so long since the mountains shook that the land had looked flat for so long.
“Oh!” I cry out.
The cry initiates his fingers to move faster, pressing more intently on that special spot. I exclaim again, reach down to pull his hair and tangle it between my fingers. The mountains rise againg from the earth, crowning the ground and spread the trees. I don’t have much time to catch a breath, because the moon falls onto the surface, crushing us.
Finn just laughs, he’s crushed me, devestated me, but he takes this with pride. He wipes down his beard with a smirk. “You’ve certainly never done that before.”
“Dun wha?” I slurr, drunk off his passion.
Finn kisses me, pressing his warm body against mine. “Let’s go into the woods,” he whispers into my ear. “Let’s howl at the moon and rattle the stars.”
He’s already begun shifting as I look at him. “I would love to.”
Finn picks me up, carrying me outside the cabin. There’s a cliff overlooking the lake where he takes me, laying out a blanket for us. Two werewolves atop a cliff at night, what a cliche. I pull him down upon me, kissing him and biting his neck as we join together.
I squeeze tight around him, feeling every inch of him as he comes inside me. I look into his beautiful blue eyes, loosing my breath as he moves. He shudders and pushes deeper, arching his back and rearing his head up towards the sky.
This big, beautiful wolf is all mine, he’s my husband, my mate. I never imagined a sweeter moment than this in all my life. The night is warm around us, keeping us safe as we make love. I breathe in the scent of rain and feel the earth begin to shift against my back.
“You’re so beautiful,” Finn whimpers. “I love you so much.”
I hold on tight to him as he continues to whisper these sweet nothings into my ear. The earth is quickening, spinning, turning to sand under us. The lake shudders and gushes, pouring up into the sky before falling down around us.
It’s raining, and yet we keep going. His strong movements push me deeper into the sand, burying me from the neck down. His moans and growls are echoed by the thunder, my cries by lightening. Our climax is met when lightening flashes over the lake.
We lay panting and soaked in the rain, unable to move for a while. We rush back to the cabin completly drenched, but laughing and happy.
“You’re going to get cold.” Finn wraps a towel and his arms around me.
“Let’s get in the tub,” I suggest. “Then maybe have coffee or champagne?”
“Maybe more of each other?” He kisses me.
The tub is quite small, but we manage to cram into it together. His legs hang out over the sides, but it’s comfortable. The warm water and his body have me soothed to such a state I nearly fall asleep.
“What if we have another baby?” He asks dreamily.
I rub his thighs under water. “You know I got on birth control after I stopped breast feeding.”
He chuckles. “I know, three years before another.” He wraps his arms around me and kisses the top of my head. “I’m just being silly.”
“Yes, you are.” I kiss his arms. His hands then cup my breasts, holding them and gently squeezing. “But that’s why I married you.”
He starts to giggle. “We’re married!” He kisses my neck and shoudlers excitedly. “Can you believe it?”
I turn around, pressing my chest to his just so I can kiss him. “No. But I’m going to have to.” I rub against his chest and his hands grab my ass. “Already?” I giggle.
“You make me feel twenty years younger, what can I say?” He sits up, kissing me hungrily. “In bed this time, I promise.”
I cup his face between my palms. “Let me just look at you for a second. I want to remember you right now for the rest of my life.”
“That’ll be easy.” He kisses me lovingly. “This is the rest of your life.”
