Gargoyle Boyfriend: Amadou 3 (complete)

For the past few weeks you’ve been in hiding. Ever since crossing paths with the villain known as Rabid, you’ve been on his shit list. For the time being, you’re fine, still doing what you love: journalism. You work in secret though, and only at night, since that’s when Amadou is awake.
Ever since Amadou awoke, as well as your memories of the past, you’ve been inseparable. Once, long ago, you were a princess who fell in love with Amadou, a knight in your mother’s palace. But when your father returned from his supposed death, he cursed the entire castle, the gargoyles, and you. Now that your memories have returned, Amadou suspects that soon so will the other gargoyles, your queen mother, and the king who placed the curse.
You’ve been focusing on your investigative work, and on bringing to light some of Solomon Savage’s corrupt dealings. You’re almost certain that Rabid and Solomon are one in the same. In the past you felt it had gotten your father into a lot of trouble, and now it’s gotten you into your own boiling pot. You’re on the run, but you sort of like this new role in life. You feel like one of the noir detectives on the TV shows you and your father watched together.
The house you’ve been squatting in is abandoned, but aside from a few leaks in the roof, it proves to be better than the dingy apartment you lived in before. You’ve had to leave most of your old life behind, but Amadou has helped to get some of your old things and bring them here. Amadou is hesitant to go too far from the city. All his friends are still on the roof of your old building. He feels that soon they will begin to awaken, and he wants to be close by so they can find him.
“Maybe we should just go back to the city,” you say one day. “Surely Solomon and Rabid have much bigger things on their plate than me.”
“Pettier men than them have done worse to people who have done nothing to them,” Amadou remarks coolly. “You just want to go back into the city to stir up more trouble, don’t you?”
You smile coyly at him. “What makes you think I want any more trouble than I already have?” You approach him and place your hands on his broad chest.
“Because I know you.” He kisses your forehead, then takes your hand. “You enjoy your work, and there are many who wouldn’t.”
“But what about the others?” you ask. You move your hand to his face, cupping the sharp contours of his jaw. “Your friends and family, they’re still on the roof and maybe don’t know where to go.”
Amadou lowers his head so it rests in your palm. “I don’t want to risk you getting hurt.”
“Please, look at me.” You step back and strike a pose. “Reincarnated after a thousand years, and still standing.”
Amadou chuckles and cracks a smile. “I don’t want to risk losing you again. Who knows if you’d come back a second time?”
You place both hands on his face. “I will always come back. I’m far too stubborn to let anything keep me down for long.”
His smile is bright, and he places his hands around your wrists. “You are right, my princess.” He kisses the tip of your nose. “I should already know that lesson by now.”
You tug his face to bring him close again, kissing him deeply. “It’s okay. I forgive you,” you tease. You loop your arms around his neck. “Besides, tonight feels important, doesn’t it?”
Amadou’s big hands wrap around your waist. “Actually, that is because it is.”
Your eyes widen as you tilt your chin up. “Really?”
He nods, slowly moving you backwards. “If I am correct, then tonight is the anniversary of our first romantic encounter.”
You smirk, running your fingers through his hair and down his neck. “Look at me, already forgetting anniversaries.”
“Well, it was a long time ago. I forgive you,” he teases back. He sets you on the countertop and stands before you. “It was a rather stormy night.”
“Was it?” You pull his hair over his shoulder and play with the long strands. “Describe it to me in detail.”
He chuckles as he unbuttons your top. “I came in from patrol, soaking wet through my armor and tunic. I didn’t realize you were watching me as I took off my helmet and gloves.” His voice sounds so tender and sensual. “We had been tiptoeing around one another for a while. You fascinated me, beguiled me, but I feared I frightened you.”
You bite your lip as his fingers brush against the bare space between your breasts. “Did I prove you wrong?”
“Of course! I was horribly wrong.” His eyes focus on yours. “You approached me, offering me your shawl so I could warm up. You took me to the hearth in the great hall and sat with me. I was so nervous to be so close to you, I barely spoke a word.”
You watch his hands as they gently glide over your skin. “Then how did the evening become worth celebrating?”
His hands slide against your back. “Because you knew exactly what you wanted.” He expertly undoes your bra.
You rub your hands up and down his muscular arms, eyes focused on his face, breath caught in your chest. He’s being purposefully sexy right now, he knew what he wanted too. “And what did I want, exactly?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” Amadou kisses you. “You sat close beside me near the fire, and offered to help me remove the armor. You were afraid I would be too cold. But I was burning up. You came close and I felt like a kettle about to boil over.” He cups your cheek. “I still feel that way around you.”
You smile up at him. “So, what did I do to you?”
His finger smooths over your lips. “You told me you wanted to thank me for everything I had done, and I said I would love to accept it. It was a kiss I will never forget.”
You loop your arms around his neck again. “It was only a kiss?”
His fingers brush down over your breasts. “Isn’t that romantic enough? Because it was after that night our affair began. Stolen kisses. Whispers affections. We hid wherever we could. I suppose not much has changed,” he chuckles.
You arch your back, pressing your bare chest against his. “We don’t have to hide now, do we?”
A low rumble vibrates in his chest. “Not exactly.” He scoots your hips forward and opens your pants, pulling them down so all you have on is your panties. A smirk crosses his face, and his long tongue slithers out to lick his lips. You wriggle in excitement, opening your legs a bit wider so he has better access and a better view. His fingertips rub against the front of your panties. His fingers are tipped with sharp talons, but they never touch you. His touch is deft and careful, making sure only the soft pads of his fingers and palm ever make contact. The only time the sharp talons touch your skin is when he wants to tease you.
“Underwear is so simple these days,” he remarks.
You giggle and place your hand between your legs, moving your panties to one side. “Is this easier to maneuver?”
Amadou licks the corner of his mouth. “You have no idea, my princess.” He pulls your hips to the edge. With one hand he holds you, and with the other he chucks off his loincloth. The slit at his groin is opening, and the tip of his cock has begun to protrude. He kisses you, pressing close to you. You can feel his heat pressing to your thigh, extending to touch your labia.
You shudder and tighten your arms around him. “Hold me.”
“As my princess commands.” He picks you off the counter, and your legs wrap around him. He smirks at you, enjoying the way your face contorts as he takes his time teasing you. The tip of his penis pokes inside, then pops back out to rub against you. He does this knowing it drives you crazy. Perhaps it was something he did in the past as well.
“Amadou!” you whine in frustration.
He presses your back to the wall. “I know, my princess.” He looks down as he disappears inside you. You bite your tongue as he penetrates you, eyes focused on his face. He meets your gaze, heady and glazed over. He moves slowly, rocking his hips up and down.
“My princess,” Amadou moans.
You gasp in reply, pressing your forehead to his as he moves. You cling to his shoulders, dragging your fingers along his skin. He shudders, unfolding his wings with a snap, and moves harder, driving deeper and more roughly into you. You slip to the ground, and he’s on top of you. Your legs remain around his waist as your hips are hiked off the ground. His wings completely unfurl, taking up your field of vision. He buries his face in your neck, moaning, each deep thrust more driven than the last. His breath beats against your skin as his mouth opens. Sharp teeth drag down your neck and shoulder, soft kisses pepper your chest. He lifts his head, kissing you deeply as his hips begin to slow.
“Princess,” he growls hungrily. “You’re squeezing so tight.”
“Should I let go?” you whimper.
He smirks. “It’ll make me come before you.”
You chuckle and kiss him again as he moves more quickly. “You’re so sweet to - ah! - worry about that.”
His fingers smooth down until they’re rubbing your clit in slow circles. “It is important that we both take care of one another. I love you, therefore I want to fill you to the brim with every pleasure I can offer.” He growls and his wings shudder. “You’re tightening again.”
“I can’t help it,” you whimper. “You feel so good.”
Amadou shudders, and your inner walls quicken. You kiss him, pulling him deeper as his body moves harder. His wings stretch out further and he cries out against your skin. You seize up, gasping for breath as his heat pools deep within you. His breath shudders, and he presses himself tighter against you. He bucks and throbs, slowly going still and laying his weight on you. Inside you convulse, like a pulse, taking every moment of him in.
You moan as you stroke your hands up his back and through his hair. “I think I’ve taken as much of you as I possibly can.”
He chuckles sleepily. “We Gargoyles have a tendency to overfill our partners.” He pulls from you slowly, followed by a warm gush of his seed. “Let me find a towel.”
You stretch as he cleans you up, helping you to rise and gather your clothes. Then you lie together in bed, snuggled warmly despite the cold draft. “I have a feeling,” he whispers.
You giggle. “Only now?”
He places his finger on your lips. “Tomorrow, I want to return to the city and go back to that building. I feel as though something is calling me there.”
“We can go back tonight if you wish.”
“Too late now,” he murmurs. “Tomorrow will be better. There will be a full moon, and I think there may be an awakening. But I fear you will be in danger.”
“You might always feel that.” You rest your head on his chest. “We’ll go back tomorrow.”
The next evening, you fly back to the building where it all began. There is a full moon, hidden behind heavy clouds. As you land on the roof, Amadou looks around at all the gargoyles that remain. “There were more of us, but I suspect they are elsewhere in the world. The ones that are here were all in the castle when the spell took effect.” He stands beside one on the corner, waiting. “All of them were good and brave, men and women alike.”
You feel as though someone is watching you, their eyes boring into the back of your neck. You turn around, and in the shadows you see someone sitting in an old wicker chair. You stand in alarm as they rise.
“I was wondering when you were going to show back up,” he says. He strides out from the shadows. “I’ve been waiting centuries for this day.”
Amadou lunges before you, spreading out his arms and wings to protect you.
The man is very tall with long dark hair, and wears glasses over his eyes. One eye is blue, the other brown.
“You,” Amadou snarls.
The man raises his arms. “I come in peace, I swear that to you.”
You peer out from behind Amadou’s wing. “You’re the wizard king.”
He sighs and shakes his head. “No more a king, just a man who won’t die.” He lowers his arms and tucks his hands into his pockets. “I want to make amends. I’ve been waiting all this time.” He extends his hand. “I brought you all here in hopes of the day you’d awaken, you would at least be together and protected.”
Amadou is still tense as he glares the wizard king down.
“Oh, where are my manners>” The wizard king sighs. “Please, call me Arthur.”
You step out from behind Amadou and look up at Arthur. In your past life, he had been your father. He had gone mad with jealousy and hatred. But this doesn’t seem like the same man. “You did all this?” you point down at the roof. “This building, the gargoyles, all so you could make amends?”
“After a few decades of not dying and a few more of therapy, I realize that I was cruel. I hoped that by bringing as many of the gargoyles as I could to one place, it would attract you to them.” He smiles. “I am glad to see I was right.”
“But what do you hope to gain from this?” you ask calmly.
“Peace. Forgiveness. Although I understand if I do not receive either. I cannot undo the past or my actions, but I can at least support the future.” A soft smile comes to his face. “I’m glad you and your knight found one another again. I am so sorry I hurt you.”
You step back. “Just stay there.” You turn your back to him to look at Amadou. “You remember better than I do. What should we do about this?”
“I’m not sure,” Amadou murmurs. “He seems genuine. Besides, what would he have to gain by bringing together all the people who hate him most?”
You look back at Arthur as he stands in wait. He has his head bowed, raising it slightly as you look at him. Just then the clouds part, shining the light of the full moon down upon the rooftop. As it glows, you hear a crackle and a snap. In the corner, the gargoyle Amadou had been sitting next to was shifting and moving. The cracks in the stone glow as his body lifts and his wings extend outward.
“Looks like someone is waking up,” Arthur marvels.
Amadou rushes forward as the gargoyle steps down from his perch. “My neck is aching something foul. Is that you that I see, brother? Or have I woken to a dream again?”
With a loud laugh, Amadou embraces the newly awakened gargoyle. The two of them hugg and laugh, greeting one another warmly. “How long has it been?” the new gargoyle asks. “Where are we now?”
“Somewhere very far away, both in time and distance.” Amadou claps his hands onto the gargoyle’s shoulders soundly. “But we are together, my brother!”
The new gargoyle is tall and lean, with very long arms and legs. His face is more angular than Amadou’s, with teeth that jut out from his bottom lip. His skin is dark red with shades of blue. As he looks towards you his eyes light up. “Princess! You’re here!” He rushes to you and quickly stops when he sees Arthur standing behind you. His body tenses and his wings snap out as he hisses.
“Down, Lothaire,” Amadou coaxes. He stands with Lothaire, and looks to Arthur. “He has brought us together as penance for his actions.”
“Forgive me for not trusting the madman who cursed us,” Lothaire snarls.
“No need to apologize.” Arthur bows his head. “I would be shocked if you didn’t react negatively.”
Lothaire sneers, then turns back to you. “Princess,” he says softly. “It is so good to see you. Do you remember me?”
“Not yet,” you answer honestly. “But I am sure I will eventually.”
Lothaire breaks into a wide grin and he pulls you into a hug. “You do not know how much good it does this soul to see you again.” He extends his arm and captures Amadou, pulling him into the hug as well. “The both of you! These eons trapped in stone, I cannot tell you how empty it all was. Both aware but not awake. It is good - no, a miracle, to be with family again.”
“I offer you all my home,” Arthur replies. “You may stay there and be the family you were before. As more of you wake up from this curse, you will all be together.” He motions to you. “And I am aware of the trouble you are in. I too have bad blood with Solomon Savage, so stay with me and you will be protected from him.”
You narrow your eyes at him. “You and Solomon?”
He shrugs. “We had a thing some time ago,” he scoffs. “It’s too much to get into now, but let’s just say he took a few things from me I would like to have back.”
“I would rather take my chances with wild dogs than with you,” Lothaire snarls.
Amadou grabs his shoulder. “He brought us all back together, and the least we can do is humor his offer for now. If I sense any danger - and I mean any - we will find our own home without his help.”
Arthur nods. “Understood.”
Arthur takes the three of you to a massive brick mansion near the edge of the city, surrounded by iron gates and high trees. Inside it is filled with antique and ancient furniture he has collected over his many centuries of being alive. “Make yourselves at home,” Arthur offers. “There are at least a dozen rooms here you can call your own. I just ask that you leave the basement to me.”
“All this wonderful space, and you choose the basement?” you ask with a slight scowl.
He smiles. “I like it, and I do all my work down there.”
Hugo sniffs the air. “Is the food safe here?”
“The kitchen is down that hallway and to the right. It is stocked with anything you could ever desire and more, so help yourself to everything.” Arthur takes off his coat, and you see his arms are covered in a multitude of dark scars. “Oh, these?” he laughs when he catches you staring. “Being alive for longer than one should will do things to a person.”
“Get into a lot of trouble, did you?” you ask.
“More than you’ll ever know.” His eyes flick up to Amadou, who is watching the both of you. “I’ll leave you three alone, then. Should you need anything of me, just snap your fingers.” He walks away, vanishing down a dark corridor.
Amadou approaches, putting his hand on your back. “What are you thinking, my princess?”
“I’m not sure yet, but I think we are safer here than out in the world.” You take a deep breath and let it out slowly. “Like you said, we’ll stay here until the first sign of trouble.”
“What will you do come dawn?” he growls.
“I’ll keep my guard up. Don’t worry.” You go down the hallway after Lothaire, who you find already searching through the kitchen with boxes and bags of snack foods under his arms. “Besides, we need to stick around for the others.”
Amadou kisses the top of your head. “Perhaps the enemy of our enemy is the best place to be anyway.”
“At least there won’t be leaks in the roof here,” you grumble.
Lothaire approaches, holding out the bags of snacks. “Have you ever seen such things?” he exclaims. “I think I’m going to like it in this new world!”
