Game Development: Still Ongoing

I've been dedicating my weekday evenings to our project, and I'm excited to say that this extra effort is truly shaping the game. Your support has been crucial, and I want to ensure complete transparency with you.

Development Update: Solo development has been a new and enlightening experience for me. Understanding external perspectives is vital, and I appreciate all your feedback. As I strive to create a game we all can be proud of, please know that it's crafted with passion, not profit.

Artistic Direction, Stopping with AI: I will no longer use AI art for important characters but will focus on traditional art that better matches the hybrid style of the game. While experimenting with AI art, it became clear that although it constituted less than 3% of the overall effort—primarily in code, writing, scripts, design, scenarios, and engine work—it did not significantly impact the time spent on these crucial aspects. Unfortunately, this experiment did not yield the efficiencies I had hoped for. However, I will continue using AI for non-essential characters.

Regarding Promotions: I will not promote the game on platform X or elsewhere until we have a stable public build. This is to ensure that what we share truly represents our vision and quality standards.

Refunds: I value each of you, not just as supporters but as part of this journey. If you've been paying since January and feel you’d prefer to step back, I completely understand. Please send me a direct message if you’d like a refund. While this means your name might not appear in the credits, I assure you, there will be no hard feelings. My priority is your satisfaction and our mutual respect over any financial aspect. I'm in a better place and can pay that back; this constitutes those who joined very early. I appreciate your continued support!

Someone messaged me on Patreon and decided to focus on a mid-November initial build of the game, which is great. I've had a rough year with all the layoffs and my industry in shambles. I appreciate the understanding and help this patreon community has given me. I will fight tooth and nail for you.
