[Art Trade] I Can Show You the (Literal) World

Geez, I'm in a block from posting descriptions for my art submissions now? I should've gotten this posted earlier but instead got myself distracted by reading The Backrooms wiki ^^;

But yeah finally another new art this time, and another art trade that we got here. This time is for Astronaut-Violet out on DA, featuring her OCs Darren and Vira clad in the ISS EMU spacesuit, out for an untethered spacewalk riding the MMU from Challenger Shuttle missions, holding hands together as a couple, in a stroll around the Earth orbit! We had lost contact for almost two years, and this one is a part of our attempt of making it up to each other. And yup, the moment has come as soon as I feel like drawing EMU pic once again. As for the character themselves though, they've made their appearance twice in my gallery which I haven't yet posted here as a part of my classics uploads for all tiers, but will be eventually :D

And yes sorry there are no WIP posts for this, mainly due to how I work on this, more on that later, this is pretty much a faster pic to work on, but for you Parfait tier patrons out there, boy do I have a treat for you! I decided to create 3 alternate versions of this pic which you can check right here!

As for the process, yeah the pose are basically taken from my last EMU drawing featuring Neptune from Hyperdimension Neptunia which you can check right here and I only have to redo their heads and most importantly to fit the scene, their arms. Did some modifications to the pose as well, where Vira appeared shorter here compared to the last time I draw here, which used a pretty standard height for female characters. It's also been.. ..huh, a while since the last time I did any male characters in the EMU, yup, lately my EMU drawing have been featuring female characters lately, and Darren's comeback here is a breath of a fresh air :D

As for the faces though, I was informed that Darren and Vira's designs are no longer based on Butch Hartman's animated series Danny Phantom, even though looking at Violet's art style, sometimes it's kind of hard to disassociate it from Butch Hartman's style, but I respect her decision to distinct her works from her past ones, and that's what I did here. Darren's hair is done from scratch, while for Vira, initially, I used the hairstyle of her from the previous artwork, but Violet asked me to give her a different hairstyle, which looking at the picture looks similar to that of my own OC, Vera from the Dara Bahari series of my original characters. Vira and Vera, oh well ^^;

But otherwise, I think that's it, the two look great in the spacesuit together! I hope Violet likes it and so does the rest of you guys! :D
