Lizardfolk Boyfriend: Susilo (special preview)

My breath is taken away. This list is wonderful! I haven’t seen such requests like this in a long time. I don’t have much of what they are looking for, I’d have to make some of it. Some of these will be a challenge, but I am chomping at the bit to do them.

“Do you two work for a doctor?” I gasp excitedly. My tail swishes back and forth behind me in my excitement. “I’ve not seen the use of these tinctures outside of Afan!” I clutch the list tight to my chest. “I would love to know how you’re using them?”

“I’m not sure what the hell Susilo does with them,” the Jackal sighs. He then shakes his head. “I’m not even sure he’s a doctor. I just need to take this stuff home or I’m afraid he’ll rip my head off.”

My tail continues to flick back and forth. “I’m afraid I don’t have everything. I’ll be able to get everything to you by this evening though. I could deliver it if you’d like.”

The Jackal grimaces. “I guess that’s ok. He might be understanding.” He looks to the Onikuma. “Yeah, I guess that will have to suffice.”

“Wonderful, I do ask for half upfront please.” I hold my hand out to him. “I’ll collect the rest when I make my delivery.”

The Oniukuma steps forward with the purse already open. “Oh, of course, how much will all that be?”

“Fifty Scales,” I say.

The Onikuma nods but a look comes over the Jackal’s face. “So twenty-five then?”

I shake my head. “No, no, fifty scales is half. Everything in total will be a hundred. There are things on this list that are very expensive.”

“I knew it,” he Jackal sneers.

“A hundred scales?” The onikuma blurts in alarm. “It’s really that much? Does Susilo really need all this?”

The Jackal shoves the Onikuma. “Pay up, I’m not telling him no again.”

I’m given my payment and to my surprise they’re staying at Pix’s cabin. At least I know where to go! Once those two leave I set to work on preparing everything. I have to get a lot out of storage, then go to the apothecary in town to finish up what bits I don’t have. I package everything up neatly according to the list. Some I pack in tinctures and I write a date on them for when they’ll be ready. I then get everything wrapped up nicely. 

I’m very excited! It’s rare these days to meet someone who has this knowledge on medicine outside of Afan. I hope he wouldn’t mind talking with me and having a conversation about their practices, uses, and just everything! I wanted to pick their brain and see how they had gotten to this point.

I come to Pix’s cabin and I can smell something delicious being cooked inside. With a twitch of my tail I knock on the door. A second later there is a lizardman standing at the door. He’s tall, with small rough scales. He has a long neck and a large flat head, his eyes widen as he looks down at me and his thick, heavy tail falls against the ground.

“Hi, I’m Zahbi, I’m here to deliver your order.” I hold up the bag to him. I must admit, he’s quite handsome. He’s quite slime with broad shoulders, and his black nails are kind of sexy. I smile up at him while he continues to stare then place the bag in his hand. “Are you Susilo?”
