Deertaur Boyfriend: Kaio Part Two (complete)

As Kaio and I return to the village, it feels as though all the air has been sucked out. When he strides from the forest, I can see the looks on people’s faces. I know I am part of this now and I will never escape this. As we come further into town, my father appears on the street.

Kaio kneels before him, and I slide from his back to the ground. There is a look on my father’s face as I approach him, and I am uncertain how to read it. He takes me by the hand then looks back up to Kaio as he rises.

“Manex, father of Danae,” Kaio breathes to him. “It is a pleasure to meet you.”

My father looks to me for a moment, still perplexed. Nonetheless, he has learned to trust me in all these years, and if I have brought Kaio here, he knows there is a reason. He looks back to Kaio and gives him a stiff nod. “And who might you be?”

Kaio sweeps his arm across his midriff. “I was once Prince of all you can see. These forests were my kingdom, my hunting grounds, and now it is my hope to reclaim them. I am Kaio.”

“Kaio.” My father’s brow knits. “You are a legend. A story told to our children so they do not wander in the woods.” He tilts his chin up. “Your antlers were a sign of death.”

“They still are,” Kaio grins wickedly. “But I have made a promise to your daughter that no one of your village will see harm from me.”

My father takes in a deep breath to steady himself. His age has not shown yet, and he is still very much a highly-sought man in the village. Yet now, for the briefest moment, I see the tiredness of his years as he looks upon Kaio.

“I trust my child above most here,” my father replies. “So I will have to trust you as well. But...” He draws out the word. “I fear there is something else hanging onto that promise.”

“In order to keep the peace,” I quickly spoke up, “I have promised Kaio that we will help him seek justice on those who imprisoned him.”

My father’s eyes fall upon me like a heavy weight. I know how much he expects from me and how much he relies on my word. “For peace,” he murmurs. “That is all well and good. But what is the story of the imprisonment? Perhaps there are crimes which Kaio must atone for.”

“I have paid for them in full, I can attest to that,” Kaio sniffs. “But my imprisonment was forced upon me by my own people who wished to climb above their own means. They dealt away with me so that they could take my place.”

“That is what you say,” my father replies. “But for all we know, you could be lying, dear Prince.” A smirk crosses my father’s lips which steals the one upon Kaio’s.

“What led you to him, my child?” my father asks me. “Did you have another dream?”

I nod. “I saw the Red Banshee, and that very evening I dreamt of where to find Kaio. The very next morning, the Red Banshee himself led me to the place within my dreams.”

“The Red Banshee,” my father loses his breath for a moment, then turns to Kaio. “Have you had dealings with him?”

“I’ve only heard him screaming at odd hours,” Kaio answers. “But I have not dealt with him since before I was betrayed. Before that he was a man, and a sad one at that.”

My father’s expression is a drastic one. He seems shocked by this news. He takes a few moments before speaking again. “Have you dreamt again since, Danae?” He takes hold of my hands. “If so, you must tell me now what you saw. Your powers are great, and you have saved us a great deal of pain.”

My dream was not one I would wish to share with my father, yet I knew I could not withold it from him. My cheeks grew red under the pressure, and the heat of my embarrassment cannot not be ignored.

Kaio chuckles. “I think your precious daughter dreamt of me, dear Manex.”

My father scowls. “Is this true, Danae?”

I nod. “Yes,” I answer him. “I dreamt that Kaio and I were by the river. He was standing above me and his mouth was full of blood.” I look into my father’s golden eyes. “I then became one with Kaio by the river.”

My father appears conflicted, but he gives my hands a firm grasp. “Was it a consensual manner?”

I nod, looking down at my feet. “I presented myself to him. I gave him permission.”

Kaio chuckles. “Perhaps I should call you Father then.”

My father shoots him a nasty look. “You shall hold your tongue.” He folds his arms tight across his chest. “It appears we must work together, as you and Danae are fated. That does not mean I have to like it.” He turns back to me. “Promises have been made - promises I expect to be fulfilled.” He casts another harsh gaze upon Kaio. “I will contact the Berebide. I will tell them of the news and of your arrival.”

“I think I should be the one who breaks the news, don’t you?” Kaio chuckles.

“You are the last person who should!” my father scolds him. “From here on out, to assure you keep your promise, you will be kept in my home under guard.”

Kaio stiffens and his eyes grow wide. “You are intending to keep me prisoner again?” he snarls. His arms grow tense, and I can see the veins within surge.

“From my child’s dream, I take it that you listen to her, so I will also assume you must obey her.” My father glares up at Kaio. “We will find you justice, Kaio. That is our promise. Your promise was to not harm any villagers. In order to protect my people, I am holding you to it and keeping you away from them.”

“I will not be held!” Kaio roars.

I take hold of Kaio’s hand and tug it so his attention turns upon me. The double irises of his eyes are thin slits that widen as they gaze upon me.

“Our home is this way,” I say softly. “It’s closer to the river.”

Kaio gawks. “But I--!” He sniffs and turns towards my father, who is walking away. “This is not what I meant and you know it!”

“Just for now,” I urge him to follow.

His hand grips mine, and he follows along behind me. He cannot fit through the doorway of our home, so I take him to the back where we host the ceremonial pyres. Kaio kneels there on one of the straw mats and glares out over the river. I go inside and gather some food that I bring back out.

“Once my father returns, we will know better what we should do. For now, behave and be patient.” I place the food before him, but he turns his nose up at the offer.

“I would rather hear more about this dream of yours than have anything to eat.” His big hands comb through my hair. His fingers brush down the back of my neck, and his touch reminds me of the morning.

“You heard what I told my father,” I scold him. “That should be enough.”

“Details,” he growls. “You told your father what any good daughter would. But I am no father, and I already know your body and how it melts into my hands.”

I turn my head aside so I am looking at the river. His thumb brushes against my lip. “Tell me what you saw, what you felt, dear Danae.”

I close my eyes and steel a deep breath. “There is not much for you to know. Aside from the blood in your mouth, it was rather uneventful.”

Kaio gnashes his sharp teeth. “I can smell you getting aroused as we speak.”

I pinch my thighs tighter together.

Kaio chuckles. “No need to be ashamed with me, my Queen. I like knowing your quim grows wet for me.” His hands fall on my thighs and he begins to rub them. His fingers knead, squeezing into the sides. “You know how skilled I am with my fingers. Imagine how dexterous my hips must be.”

I shove his hands away from my legs. “You’re a filthy creature.”

“I’ve not had a woman for longer than I care to admit, nor a man for that matter.” He dips his head down and runs his black tongue along my jaw.

I press my hands against his chest and shove at him. “That is probably for the best!”

Kaio chuckles into my ear, causing each hair on my body to stand on end. “Tell me your dream.”

I finally get him off me and glare up at him. “You’ll have to wait.” I take food from the tray and eat it.

Kaio chuckles and dips his head to the side. “If you and I are to be lovers, perhaps I can forgive the years of imprisonment.”

“Can you?” I toss back.

“No,” he sighs. “I do not think I shall ever learn to forgive that.” He tilts his head up towards the sky. Above us, the clouds are growing dark. They bleed in from the horizon and  start to blot out the sun.

“Your father will probably run late,” Kaio murmurs.

“I hope not.” I sit down, this time far enough away from Kaio’s roaming hands. I eat a bit more as the air begins to chill around us. The wind picks up, and it starts to rain. Kaio bows his head as rain starts to splash down upon him. He shakes his head and then, in a moment, the rain around us stops to fall, as if were are trapped in a bubble.

I reach out to catch slow-falling droplets on my palm. As I pull my hand back in, the water rises up and floats away from me.

“Amazed?” Kaio chuckles.

I frown at him. “That’s a word.” I sit down again. “But this means you will not receive word from my father on what is to happen.”

“I am not worried,” he laughs. “I know what is true in my heart.”

That evening when the rain stops, my father does return home. He looks exhausted, and he has to sit down as soon as he comes inside. He says there was a great argument, and that his nerves are shot because of it.

“What did they say about Kaio?” I ask. “Did they defend themselves against his story? Or do you believe there is truth to what he says?”

My father sighs. “I believe there is a duality to everything around us, Danae. It has been so long since Kaio was imprisoned that he is treated as just a story, all legend. There is no way to discern the truth as it stands now, and I feel the way he wants justice will never come to be.” He shakes his head. “They did not even know that he existed.”

I furrow my brow at this. “They didn’t?”

“No,” he huffs. “They said they thought he was just a children’s story like we did. Chief Aetz even suggested Kaio was a charlatan.”

I shake my head. “But they brought him food.”

My father sits up again.

“When the Berebide used to hunt us, they tossed him the carcasses of their human hunts to feed him.” I shake my head. “No. They are lying.”

The pensive look that crosses my father’s face cuts deep. “Are you certain, Danae?”

“There may be much to Kaio I do not yet understand, but I do not think he is a liar. He told me he had not been thrown a human body in ages. The Berebide stopped hunting us. How would he know that at all?”

My father places his hand over mine. “It was wise of you to suggest we help Kaio find justice rather than by his own means. I fear it would have been bloody had you not.”

“What should we do now, since they are denying him?” I ask.

My father’s shoulders sag. “I will sleep on it. As should you.” He kisses my forehead. He goes off to bed and I go back outside.

Kaio is standing in wait in front of a fire. He must have started it while my father and I were talking. He turns slightly as I approach and kneels down so we are eye to eye.

“They denied you,” I murmur to him. “They said they did not know you existed and claimed you to be a fake.”

Kaio goes completely still and he closes his eyes. He starts to breathe deeply and slowly. His shoulders rise and fall, rise and fall, faster and faster. His teeth gnash and his breath hisses through them. His fist clench tight and I can see the veins in his body bulging.

I touch his face and stroke down his neck. He starts to visibly relax, but his growls still fill the air with danger. He opens his eyes, looking deep into mine.

“And what do you say?” he whispers.

“I think they are lying.” I brush my fingers along his cheek. “You said they tossed you food from their hunts. I don’t know why you would ever lie about such a thing.”

Kaio places his hands around my waist. “Do you know Chief Aetz?”

I nod. “I have dealt with him a few times. Although my father is the one who mainly communicates with the Berebide.” I rub my hands down his chest. “I once slept with Aetz.”

A look crosses Kaio’s face that is maniacal, savage and strange all at once. His hands squeeze tighter around me. “Is that so?”

“I was very young,” I tell him. “And Aetz was just made chief. I was bold and a little drunk.” I rake my fingers through the fur of his chest. “It was awful.”

Kaio laughs. “Was it?”

“I only told you that so you would understand the connection. I know Aetz, and that is how. Beyond that, there is not much more. He is arrogant, cocky, and selfish.”

Kaio’s grin grows bigger and I can see the thick sharp fangs at the back of his mouth. “His cock is puny, isn’t it?”

“That is not for me to share.” I take his hands from my waist and hold them. “I don’t like Aetz. I don’t think we should trust him. My father feels the same way.”

Kaio tilts his head. “Tell me one last thing,” he growls. “Which was better, his cock or my hand?”

I tilt my chin up. “You tell me.”

Kaio laughs. “Then let me fuck you while he watches.”

I press my hand against his face. “I need to get some sleep, Kaio. So I need you to promise me to stay here tonight.”

He snarls and sticks his tongue out at me. “Stay with me and be sure.”

“No,” I step away from him. “I would like to sleep in my bed for the night.”

Kaio scoffs. “So be it - if you think you can trust me.”

I smile at him before I go back inside. I wash myself using the basin and climb into bed.

I am roused by the sound of drums late that night. As I get up, I see the Berebide have congregated outside. My father is already at the door and he holds his arm out so I do not go further.

“What are they doing here?” I whisper.

“They’ve come for Kaio,” he whispers. “I am certain Chief Aetz feels threatened by his presence.”

Chief Aetz is tall and powerful, but compared to Kaio, he is quite thin, and his teeth less sharp. He comes forward from the crowd and stands before us at the door.

“We have come for the criminal,” he replies. “Hand him over to us.”

“How can you be so assured he is a criminal?” my father replies. “And what gives you any rights to him?”

Aetz tilts his head to the side. He blinks down upon us then smiles softly. “If he is claiming to be some god-king of ours, it is offensive to the Berebide. Furthermore, we promised long ago to protect this village from any danger. As I see it, he is a threat.”

I grimace at Aetz. “But he has done nothing yet.”

“Yet,” Aetz retorts.

I move out from behind my father and stand before Aetz, then break through the Berebide who have surrounded Kaio at the pyre. I rush towards him and he holds his hands out to me.

“You’re still here,” I gasp.

“Well, nowhere I can go now,” he scoffs. “Because of these assholes.”

I place myself before him and turn to face Aetz as he approaches. “Go home and leave us. You have no grounds to be here.”

Aetz stands over me and Kaio. “Stand aside, young Danae. This is no longer up to you. We will take him off your hands now.”

Kaio rises up behind me and he moves me so I am standing between his legs. “Try and take me, young man.” He taps his hands to his chest. “If you so dare.”

Aetz stares up at him, with his jaw slack and his once-assured stance slumping. He stands back, then clears his throat. “If you come with us willingly, we will be gentle with you.”

Kaio grins. “No. Why would I waste all the fun? I will fight you and it will be rough.”

Aetz grimaces as he reaches for the dagger on his waist. “You have no place here in this forest. Leave now or--”

“Or what?” Kaio scoffs. “You’re going to hunt me?” He takes another step towards Aetz. “The red flowers are gone, burnt to ash,” he growls. “You can no longer keep be down in that crypt. I recognize your smell - the same as your ancestors!”

Aetz brandishes the dagger at Kaio. “Do you think I am a fool?” he snarls. “You do not scare me!”

Kaio stands over Aetz and tilts his head to look at him. “If you were smart, you would be.” He reaches out and grabs Aetz’s blade. He grips it tightly, and blood begins to drip from his hand. I gasp in shock, and I can see the disturbed look in Aetz’s eyes as this transpires.

Kaio yanks the dagger from Aetz’s hand and tosses it aside. “Your weapons do not matter to me,” he growls. “Your idle threats mean nothing. But it is your lies which causes my blood to boil.” He smears his cut palm over Aetz’s face, leaving a trail of green-black blood. “Your family has imprisoned me and kept me for far too long. You will pay for their crimes.”

Aetz strikes Kaio’s chest, punching him full in the front. Kaio grabs his wrist and pulls his arm up. Aetz rises to his hind legs and kicks Kaio square in the chest. Kaio stumbles and releases him, allowing Aetz to retreat and his soldiers to stand before him.

Kaio laughs, rubbing his chest where he was hit. “Hiding, are we? Come on. Call off your goons. Face me. If you are just, then you will be victorious in the battle.”

Aetz wipes away at the blood smeared on his face. “You’re insane! If this village chooses to hold you, then I cannot guarantee them the protection of the Berebide anymore!”

Kaio takes in a breath. “Is that a threat?” He steps forward again.

Aetz gnashes his teeth. “You heard me!”

“You’re threatening me?” Kaio snarls. “Using these people you once swore loyalty to?” He cracks his neck with a twitch. “What a coward you are.” He then points to the river. “If you want me, come and take me.” He walks away and stands in the center of the river.

My father comes up behind me, dragging me closer to the house. He wraps his arms around me, as the Berebide surge forward to the river. “Get inside, now,” he whispers harshly.

We go back into the house just as a scream cuts through the night. I gasp and clutch my hand over my chest.

“That was him,” I whisper. “The Red Banshee.”

My father makes me sit down at the table. “I feared from your dream that this would happen,” he whispers to me. “Because of the blood that flowed from Kaio’s mouth. I feared something would happen.”

“I’m so sorry,” I whimper.

“Don’t apologize,” he scolds. “You followed your dreams, just as I told you to do. This was not something to be avoided, but something that has to be gone through.” He holds me in his arms again. “I just wish it wasn’t your responsibility.”

He presses his hands around my ears, trying to block out the screams of the Red Banshee and the ensuing fight. It is not something that can be ignored. I can still hear the roar of the men as they fight Kaio, and yet somehow, the scream is louder than that.

Berebide rush past our home. We can feel their hooves beat against the ground as they escape from the river. My father and I emerge to see that a massive tree has grown in the river where Kaio stood. It is a twisting mass of vines and limbs, and held aloft, impaled on the branches, is Aetz.

“Where’s Kaio?” I whisper. I step outside, watching as the sun rises. As the shadow of the tree moves aside, I see Kaio laying on the ground. He’s barely breathing, and one of his antlers has been broken off.

I rush forward and kneel down beside him. “Look at me,” I command. “Kaio, look at me.” I lift his head, holding it between my palms.

He coughs and weakly tries to rise. “They put up a better fight than I thought.” he sits up slowly and he rests his weight upon me. “I’ll give them that.”

“You’re hurt.” I whimper. “We need to get you help now.”

Kaio chuckles. “Look at you, caring about me.” He grunts then a look of agony washes over his face. “Let go! Let go!” He pushes me from his grasp and places his hands around his side.

My father joins us. He takes one of the flowers from the riverbed and makes Kaio eat it. He glances up at Aetz impaled on the tree and he shakes his head.

“I’m sorry this happened,” Kaio’s breathing is ragged.

“Not now,” my father growls. He lets Kaio rest for a moment as the flower takes effect on him. He inspects Kaio’s wounds, and dresses the biggest one on his side to stop the bleeding. Once the sun has risen, we get Kaio into our home. With his one antler broken off, he is able to fit through the door.

For the next few weeks, Kaio rests. He sleeps as if he is lost in his dreams. I tend to him, taking care of his wounds as he heals. We have not seen or heard from the Berebide since, although I suspect they are now in fear of Kaio and his powers.

One night, I wake from a dream in which Kaio has shed his other antler. He looks strange without them, but already new ones are growing. He plants the second antler in the pit where he was held, and the crown of rocks fills with branches and greenery until it bursts apart. The rocks fall and slide down, creating new trails through the forest.

As I wake, Kaio is sitting up. He turns as I rise and a smile spreads across his face. “Did I wake you?”

I wrap my arms around him. “I’m so glad to see you! I’ve been so worried.”

Kaio buries his face in my hair. “I’ve been dreaming about you this whole time,” he whispers.

I kiss him and cup his face between my hands. “You should have woken up, I’ve been here waiting.” I smile up at him, taking in a deep breath.

Kaio kisses me again and grabs his hands around my waist. “I’ve kept you waiting. Let me apologize.”

I tap my finger over his lips. “Wait.” I stand up from the floor. “My father is just in the other room.”

Kaio rises with ease and we walk outside. It is still dark out and the air has grown cold. We cross the river and go where we are hidden in the trees. I lay on the ground before him as he kneels to the ground. Stripping away my clothes, I bring his hand to my chest.

“Touch me again,” I breathe.

A wicked smirk cuts across his lips. “You needn’t ask.” His fingers caress down my body and his fingers find their place between my thighs again.

I gasp softly, then bite back my grin as he starts to rub. I lean into his chest, kissing him there as his fingers make me melt.

“Will my fingers be enough?” Kaio growls into my ear. “Or will you ever tell me how that dream went?”

I kiss his neck as a finger slips inside me. Squeezing around the intrusion, I open my eyes to look at him. I chuckle softly and pull away from him. He licks his finger as he watches me. I bend over a stone, presenting my rear to him.

Licking his chops, Kaio rises from the ground and approaches me. He places himself over me, easing down until I feel a heat against my thighs. I tremble slightly as it grows, becoming bigger and thicker.

Kaio moans and he places himself between my thighs. His thick shaft rubs against me, and I feel it press for entrance. Reaching down, I guide him inside. He moves slow, placing himself inside and slowly pulling out.

My breasts are cold against the stone, but Kaio has me raging like a fire. I gasp and raise my hips further, allowing him to move easier. Grunting above me, I can hear Kaio’s pleasure rising.

I hear something moving in the brush before us. Looking up, I see a bit of red in the shadows. I moan out loud as Kaio drives into the deepest parts of me, and move my hand down, rubbing myself. I peer back into the forest, but the flash of red is gone.

“I’m close,” Kaio cries out. “I can’t take much more!” He writhes and bucks. His hips start to lose rhythm and he drives a little harder. “Danae!” he whines. “I can’t… I’m--!” His voice chokes off and he pulls away from me. A hot gush of his seed splashes along my backside and down my thighs. He gasps and pants, shuddering and shaking as he slips to the ground. He lays his cheek on my back and he lets out a pleased laugh.

I pout slightly and I start to move away but he grabs me. I gasp as he pulls me back and his face pushes between my thighs.

“Kaio--” my voice chokes off as his tongue finds me. It sinks inside me, then dances around my clit. My lashes flutter as his fingers use my wetness to lube my ass.

Kaio chuckles darkly as he feasts upon me. His tongue moves deftly inside my slit as his fingers pump into my ass. I cry out, smashing my cheek onto the stone, which now feels as hot as fire.

“Kaio--” I whine. “Kaio! My god!”

He laughs again, biting my thigh. As I feel his teeth sink into me, I let go. I let out a Banshee-like cry that fills the forest and the air around us. I gush on his tongue and his mouth is sloppy as he pulls away from me.

I quiver and shudder on the rock. I kick at him as he pulls away, each touch a bit too much for my overwhelmed system. As he pulls me down into his arms and I snuggle against his soft fur, I relax.

“Like your dream?” Kaio whispers.

I shake my head and kiss him. “I thought it prepared me, but I was not.”

Kaio nuzzles to my cheek. “From now on, share your dreams with me as well as your father,” he whispers. “Promise me?”

I nod as my eyelids grow heavy. “I promise.”
