Michael: "I told you I'd grab it for you! Why did you climb the counter again?"
Ella: "Because I’m not helpless, okay? I can reach things just fine!"
Michael: "Yeah? And what if you slipped? Then what? Who's carrying you to the ER? Oh, right—me. Because I’m tall enough to actually do it!"
Ella: "Oh, so now my height’s a problem? Maybe if you didn’t put everything on the top shelf like you’re building a fortress, I wouldn’t have to climb!"
Michael: "Maybe if you admitted you need me for some things, I wouldn’t have to keep playing firefighter every time you go mountaineering in the kitchen!"
Ella: "Or maybe you just like feeling tall and useful! Admit it—you enjoy this!"
Michael: "...I mean, a little, but that’s not the point!"
