With his knee crushed, completely incapacitated, Alexandra's father has asked Alexandra to get back on Ataraxes alone, and continue the ride he meant for them to do together. Will she go? I suspect you know already, but wait… there's something he hasn't told her…

NOTES
Reading it again, Dad's story sequence could use some polish on the writing (e.g., too many "buts" in close succession.
I was surprised to find that one of the most difficult things to draw in this whole chapter has been Dad lying on his back. For one thing, it's an inherently unflattering, uninteresting pose. For another, it's encouraged me to draw him from a bunch of weird angles, like that one looking up his nostrils.
LORE! Who likes lore? Anyone? I hope you do! I kept it short and it's mysterious and fun to look at so I hope it works.
It also serves the important function of visually interrupting a chapter that's been a lot of the same characters in the same location under the same lighting conditions, i.e., Alexandra and her dad down by the stream. Thanks, lore!

Just a short update this week on account of it's been a bonkers week and it's only half over. In the next update, we'll find out exactly what Alexandra's father is asking her to do…
Until then,
I remain,
short and mysterious,
