PATREON NEWS ★

• Don't forget to unwrap your presents from this year's christmasy supporter appreciation pack :^). (Since the gift wrap gimmick functionality will stop tomorrow, and the displays will be normal again lmao.)

SITE NEWS ★

• Figured out Docker and xDebug and whatnot to support future site development. Now I actually have a dev environment to play around in, yay!  This should reduce some of the random file errors (I think) since you guys won't be loading them while I'm like, actively uploading updates.
• New Gallery WIP now supports folders and they're pretty nice, you're gonna like em. She's getting there. Also have a plan for the "have a mid-sized version of every file so that load times will be improved" idea from last month, but that probably won't come to fruition until after I have the rest of this crap sorted out.
• I'm aware of the "could not refresh your session from Patreon" error. I think it's related to how Chrome does tabs but I'm not sure (since it only seems to happen when loading Gallery tabs that were left open in previous sessions, and refreshing the page gets rid of the error and still logs you back in). I'm working on an update to the login system which I'm hoping will fix it (updating the actual API calls to Patreon's v2, rather than the v1 which the site currently uses).
• Looking for a painless way to display Word documents in the Gallery, since Engine has an actual design document now and obviously I want you guys to be able to see it without it being a hassle to get to.
• Fixed a bug that was causing user accounts to duplicate under certain conditions - if you were affected by this and want your streak/scores/etc, I'm going to synchronize all of the data down to the original created entry once I figure out a clean way to do it. So nothing's lost, I just need to science it a bit before it'll all line up again.

ADDITIONAL NEWS ★

• I'm looking for January to mostly be about wrapping up to-do stuff that I have piled up on my desktop (WIPs, app setups (Maya), getting some releases together, fixing the Peexeeve poster bot, going through some sketches I want to clean, etc). Also ToonBoom. Lots of ToonBoom. It's definitely a lot deeper than Animate but I chewed on a lot of tutorials this month and I think I'm getting there.

Thanks everyone, love you guys. Like seriously. I know I live under a rock and am largely hands-off when it comes to cOmMuNiTy ReLaTiOnS but I do appreciate the support and the shenanigans that you guys allow me to run amok with. Looking forward to another good year of pumping out stuff for ya.
