Mid Month Update

Hey everyone!

I finally found a handy chart to help keep you updated with the development status.

I was hoping to have Hypnosis Episode 13 finished by the end of October. That didn't happen, as I ended spending two extra weeks with Endowed bringing the game to the point where we saw the beginning of the game's expansion themes.

The plan then was to have the first half of the episode a week into November, but a week has passed since then, so I apologize to you for the delay.

I went over the list of updates in Discord, so I'll copy a few of them here:

I've been taking longer with this update then I intended because I've been going back to refresh my mind with all the plotlines and character motivations with Hypnosis. 

As we get closer to a lot of the endings, I want to make sure I continue all the things I set up without forgetting any of them. I wrote the majority of plot threads in notes, but I began the game a year ago so I want to make sure I'm including all of it and that's it's fresh in my mind as I plot of the different endings. 

I've given Hypnosis my full attention since uploading the last update for Endowed on the 20th. I hoped to knock out the update in two weeks time, but I rewrote most of the scenes and spent a lot more time on the writing than I expected to. My first draft was essentially just a series of sex scenes (similar to episode 12) without doing much to further the plot, so I wanted to make sure there is a point to everything. 

Now I'm happy with it, I'm simply working on the renders. My apologies for everything taking longer than I'd predicted, but I'm confident the extra week(s) spent in writing room will be worth it.

This upcoming update will be smaller than we're used to, but the second half will follow shortly after.

The one thing I will add about working on the two games is that taking a month off from Hypnosis was refreshing in it's own way. There is something about taking your mind off a project for a time that lets your subconscious work things out for you. My biggest struggle with Hypnosis lately has been the timeline.

If it was a straight forward, linear story, I would consider everything fully written out. But keeping all the different paths straight has been taking longer than I expected. Episode 12 only took a couple of weeks to finish, so I always hope I can replicate that. But now we're back to reaching a crossroads, so I tread more carefully with making sure everything is going the direction it needs to.  

Is Episode 13 still going to be a series of sex scenes? Yep! But will they now actually serve the story? Also yes.

I'll put the chart up on the about section of the main page, and I'll try to update it as needed.

It's been a long time since Episode 12, so I'm doing my best to make Episode 13 worth the wait.
