Unseelie Boyfriend Ari (complete)

Heloise took the key dangling in front of her face, her fingers slipping along the shimmering, purple ribbon attached to it. “What’s this for?” She craned her neck back to look up at Ari smiling down at her.

“It’s to my house,” he replied, purposefully vague.

A little frown crossed Heloise’s face. “You have a house?” She asked, turning around as Ari came to sit beside her.

“I do now,” He tucked a dark lock behind his ear, enjoying the expression that crossed her face as he spoke. She had freckles like stars in the sky, and Ari adored each and every one. Her big, dark brown eyes were always wide and alert, but he noticed when she looked at him they softened ever so slightly.

Heloise pressed her lips into a tight line. “Don’t tease me now, Prince,” she growled at him.

Ari set down the folder he was holding on the desktop. There was some scribbling along the front that Heloise was attempting to decipher before Ari covered it with his hand. His hands were long and thing, signs of his Unseelie heritage. She scowled back up at him then whipped her head aside, her wild mane fluffing with her irritation at his teasing.

“What do I care if you have some secret, mystery palace,” she held the key back out to him without meeting his gaze.

Ari clasped her hand and made her fingers close around the cold iron. “That’s your copy.” He said, a shimmer going across his pale skin.

Heloise flinched, nearly turning back to him, but she remained still. “My copy?” She muttered, biting the inside of her cheek.

Ari’s fingers squeezed. “That’s correct,” his voice a soft purr. “You can put that key into any door, and it’ll open into my home. It won’t work while we’re at school of course, but when you get home.”

Heloise took the key back and turned to look at him, her expression serious. “So...this place is real then? You’re not just trying to tease me?”

Ari smirked, “now why would I ever tease you?”

Her lip curled up, showing off her sharp teeth. “You always tease me,” she huffed. “That’s all you ever do to me.”

Ari tapped her lip, tucking it back down. “It’s part of my inheritance,” he pulled his hand away and tucked them back over his desk.

Heloise’s eyes widened, and her lips went into a pout. “Oh,” she gasped, unsure how to respond. She reached out, her warm hand falling onto his shoulder and clasping tightly. “So, uhm…” he was always so defensive about himself, his past locked away in an iron vault. He always asked her about her home, her family, only telling her about his present and future plans.

It was known Ari was part Unseelie, but other than that, his past was a complete mystery. He came to the school as an orphan, taken in by one of the professors so he could complete his schooling. He was always quiet and observant, keeping his head down despite the constant picking he suffered. He was always tall, extremely pale, and his sharp features made him look odd. But to Heloise, even when she used to act like he hated everything, she always thought Ari was beautiful.

Ari’s hand covered hers on his shoulder, and he sighed deeply. “It’s ok,” he turned, and his smile made her heart melt a little. It was warm but sad at the same time. “I’m sharing my home with you, the only family I need.”

Heloise’s cheeks flushed, burning to the tips of her ears. She leaned her forehead against his arm, her fist clenching onto his cardigan.

Ari chuckled, petting her soft hair, “did I say it just right?”

Heloise clutched the key in her other hand and held it to her heart. “Thank you,” she grumbled quietly. “This means a lot.”

“I hope you’ll visit me soon,” he scratched at the back of her neck. “It needs cleaning desperately.”

Heloise’s head shot up. “Oh! I see!” She scoffed. “Free labor am I?”

Ari laughed, seeing the reaction he wanted.

Heloise scowled at him. “See if you hear from me at all this summer, Prince!”

“I’ll understand if you don’t,” he smirked, watching her clutch the key like a precious treasure to her chest. “Hyacinth House.”

Heloise tilted her head, her wild hair puffing along her cheek. “Hm?”

“That’s what it’s called,” Ari replied. “You’ll see when you get there.” Ari tucked the folder he hid into his bag.

Having gone home for summer break, Heloise had been toying with the idea of using the key. She would pull it out and look it over, feeling nervous as she tried to decide to use it. She kept it tucked away in a trinket box in her sock drawer, somewhere away. Yet, she knew it was there and could feel it calling to her.

Finally, one day, she took the key and closed her bedroom door. She took a deep breath.

“You see Ari all the time,” she told herself. “You like Ari. You like being with him.” She looks at the key. “Then why am I so nervous?” She grumbled to herself. She then shook her head and screwed up all her courage and stubbornness. Heloise turned the key, using it on the lock on her bedroom door. She opened the door, expecting to see the hallway, instead, she stepped into somewhere else entirely. A place she had never seen before.

The floor creaked as she stepped on it, old boards covered by an ancient rug. The ceiling was high and arched, dried plants and wicker baskets dangling from the dusty rafters.

She closed the door behind herself, key in hand as it shut. She turned back around and opened the door, looking outside. Surrounded by trees and greenery, a small garden, wild vines growing up over a small porch.

“Wow,” she gasped, closing the door again. “Wow!” She murmured as she tried to take it in.

The place smelled stuffy and dusty, it obviously hadn’t been used in a long, long time. She noticed a few places where Ari was packing things and cleaning. There were stacks of old books and papers everywhere like someone was hoarding them randomly.

“Ari?” She called out, walking from the front room into what looked like the living room. The ceiling here was low, above it a loft. Old drapes were hanging from the ceiling, nearly falling apart they were so threadbare. The room was cluttered with stacks of furniture and boxes. Some were pushed aside, moved away from a sofa at the center of the room.

Heloise leaned over and saw Ari snoozing on the couch. His hair looked longer, and it had barely been a month. He looked exhausted even though he was asleep. She leaned further down, brushing the hair away from his face and smoothing it away from his forehead. She placed a kiss there, and Ari shifted.

“Mnh,” his stretched and caught her hand, holding it as he woke up. “Not the prince’s kiss I wanted,” he muttered sleepily.

“I didn’t mean to wake you,” Heloise blushed, standing back up.

Ari sat up and popped his back. “This is a horrible sofa,” he grumbled and stood up, wobbling a little bit. “I’m glad you’re here.”

“I can see why you wanted help,” she waved her hand and brushed a spider web away. “This place is a mess.”

“Old clutter,” Ari walked towards her. “I’m just glad you’re here,” he wrapped his arms around her and pressed her head to his chest. Heloise tensed as he relaxed, she pressed her hands to his chest and felt her body begin to burn all over. She then soothed as he held her tighter and she looped her arms around his back. She sighed softly.

“I can’t get used to this place,” he murmured. “It’s hard for me to sleep,” he pulled back and cupped her cheek in his hand as he looked at her. “I thought perhaps if you came and I could see you here, it’d make it feel like home.”

Heloise scowled, embarrassed. “You’re far too sentimental,” she averted her eyes. “I’m just a person.”

Ari gave her an extra sharp squeeze then released her. “Before I tell you how wrong you are, let’s clean a little bit.”

Heloise huffed and pulled out her wand. “Where should I start?” She was used to doing major clean-ups. What with so many siblings her mother often did one or two a year, not to mention how many times they cleaned her father’s office along with doing renovations to it as well as her mother’s office. She and Ari hit the high spots, cleaning the living room, which was mainly stacks and old broken furniture. A lot of that they were able to get rid of, the room huge and empty by the time they were done.

After that, they tackled the kitchen, which was surprisingly empty. The icebox seemed to have something living in it, so they shut it up and took it outside and faced it into the woods. They then scrubbed out the old sink and the grimy tiles. The table was nice, and when they moved some boxes, they found there was a breakfast nook. They also discovered the stove still worked.

After a small break and eating a small meal, they climbed upstairs to the loft which served as the bedroom. The A-frame of the room made the room big enough for just the large bed. The entire back wall was glass and glowed with the color of the sunset.

“Oh wow,” Heloise murmured in awe. The bedroom had a different feel than the rest of the home. She felt at peace here, like she could stay forever. Then again, she was exhausted.

“I cleaned up here a bit already,” Ari said, motioning to the few boxes of his clothes and personal things pressed against the wall.

“Then why-?” Heloise turned to him, and she felt her heart leap up into her chest. She swallowed, throat tight. Her body burned again, the tips of her ears felt as if they were next to flames. “Why, Mr. Prince,” she tried to play her nerves off. “I am an unmarried woman,” she mocked clutching at pearls. “I must really consider my reputation.”

Ari’s bright smile beamed, and he reached for her, grasping her hand and kissing her palm, his lips soft, his skin cool compared to her own fire. He then pointed to the small door on the wall opposite the stairs. “Go relax a bit.”

“Hmm?” She cupped her hand over her cheeks to hide the red blossoms there.

Ari chuckled, “a bath,” he replied. “You can use the nice one,” he gently pushed her to the door. “I’ll use the guest shower downstairs.”

“Oh,” Heloise bit her cheek. “Well...I don’t have anything to change into,” she replied. “I can just go home and shower.”

“No!” Ari then flinched at his own outburst. He chuckled to cover, “no...I mean. You can wear my robe and uh...we’ll wash your clothes if you want.” He pointed to the dark robe hanging on the door, and she took it.

“If you’re sure,” Heloise murmured.

“We’ll both bathe, and we can order for dinner. That sound ok? You can stay right?” He seemed really eager, almost desperate to keep her around as long as possible.

“I wasn’t planning on going anywhere else, Ari,” Heloise swallowed, her heart beating excitedly in her throat. “I wanted to stay so-”

“Good,” his cool purr returned. “Well, go on, a bath should be self-explanatory,” he chuckled as he took a few things from a box. Heloise disappeared into the bathroom, it had the same feeling as the bedroom. She felt at ease there, like she belonged.

The floor was cool, tiny white and polished amethyst tiles with gold filament between them. The giant bathtub could easily fit her entire family was already full of steaming water, purple flowers blossoming on top and releasing a soft scent. She undressed and stepped inside, sighing as the warm water eased away all the tension and ache she had built up through the day.

She found herself thinking she wouldn’t mind if Ari was there with her. The tub was big enough. It looked like it had been taken and carved from the largest chunk of amethyst in the world.  Everything else was pure, white porcelain and shimmering gold.

She relaxed and bathed herself, the soap she used lathered up into fluff that smelled like honeysuckle. She heard shifting from beyond the door, and she leaned over the rim of the bath, wondering if Ari had finished his shower.  She stepped out of the tub and dried herself before putting on Ari’s robe.

She opened the door and saw Ari standing with his back to her, half-naked, his skin glowing in the fiery haze of the sunset. His skin dewy and soft from washing, small scars appearing along his back and shoulders.

“Ari?” She murmured.

He turned and quickly pulled on a shirt. “Done already?” He pulled his hair from out of the collar. “I figured I wouldn’t see you for hours.”

Heloise wanted to ask him about the scars along his back, but she bit back her tongue. “I wanted to, believe me. But it was kind of lonely,” she admitted with some irritation.

Ari smiled as if saying thank you, his heart hammering in his chest. “Anytime you like,” his cheeks darkened. “I already ordered food. I hope that’s ok.”

She nodded, “What'd you get us?”

“A surprise,” he patted the bed, motioning for her to sit. “It’s a new mattress. The old one was caved in.”

Heloise sat down and clasped her hands, watching Ari as he sat down beside her.

“Thank you,” he replied. “For helping me so much.”

“I’d do anything for you, you know that.” Heloise looked up at him, and he became close, she barely had a chance to take a breath before he kissed her. “Mnh,” she sighed as she eased into, grasping his hand as it touched the side of her neck. She put her hand on his thigh and leaned into him.

“I shouldn’t have done that,” Ari chuckled as he pulled back.

“Why?” Heloise looked up at him through her lashes.

“You’re too good at it,” he ran his fingers through her hair and cupped the back of her neck.

Heloise pouted, “what?”

“You make me not want to stop. But I know if I don’t you’ll make sure I do,” he kissed her cheek lovingly and nuzzled to her. “I’m so glad you’re here.”

Heloise sighed, putting her arm around his back. “I’m glad I’m here too,” she giggled as she pressed her nose to his cheek.

Ari laughed, his smooth hands petting up under her shirt and making Heloise lose her breath for a moment. A bell rung from downstairs, and he pulled back, lifting his head. “I guess I should feed you, right?”

Heloise sat up with him, “right,” she cleared her throat and tried to regain composure.

Ari returned moments later, carrying a tray with a stack of wrapped food on it. “I ordered us banh mi,” he replied. “It seemed easy enough.”

Heloise sat up in attention, her stomach growling as he laid the tray on the bed. Heloise saw from writing on the wrappers what flavors were held inside.

“Can I have this one?” She reached for one that read spicy pork.

“Take whatever you want,” Ari took one but mainly watched as Heloise dove into her food. She always hate so hastily, almost like she wasn’t tasting it. Then again, she grew up having to fight off all her siblings.

“What?” She groused when she caught him staring. Her lips were beginning to swell and turn red from the heat, but she probably didn’t notice. “Don’t stare at me like that.”

Ari wiped sauce from her cheek and then brushed her hair from her face. “I can’t help it you’re cute.”

Heloise’s hair bristled and fluffed up. “Shut up and eat!”

“I like how excited you get,” Ari murmured as he opened his food. “Especially when you eat.”

Heloise licked at her chops. “Why when I eat?”

Ari hesitated from taking a bite, and his eyes became dark and distant for a moment. Heloise moved to talk, but he shifted and sighed.

“I never saw a reason to get excited for food,” he replied. “When I was growing up I mean. I never had a food I truly thought was enjoyable until school started.”

“Oh,” Heloise gasped, this was the first time he had mentioned anything at all hinting to his childhood.

“I grew up in an orphanage,” he replied. “It was strict and rather poor. So you can imagine just how good the food was,” he chuckled sadly, and Heloise scooted closer to him and slid her hand up his back.

“It wasn’t until that first day at school that I realized I could look forward to something at all,” his smile was painful for Heloise to look at. “I thought it would change back to normal the next day. That it would be cold oatmeal and weak tea in the morning. I felt stupid for being so excited when I saw the bounty.”

Heloise took his hand, squeezing it tight. “It’s not stupid.”

Ari sighed, “I’ve never been back to that place.” His voice is quiet and cracking. “Until I got this place, I’ve always stayed at school. I was used to being alone so-”

“Ari,”  Heloise hissed warningly.

Ari looked up at her, tears sparkling in his dark eyes. He smiled at her and turned to face her. “It’s ok, I know,” he kissed her then chuckled as he pulled back. “That’s really spicy!”

Heloise wiped at her mouth. “Well, yeah. That’s kind of my thing.”

Ari drank something cold and huffed. “I’ve never told you about that have I?”

“No,” she leaned back towards him. “I knew you had no family, but I wasn’t sure where you grew up.”

Ari was quiet again for a long time. A few tears spilled down his cheeks, and he took a breath before he spoke. “I had been told when I was young that my mother came from a well to do family, I didn’t know about my curse until I came here and the Headmistress informed me about it. I didn’t know anything about my family until she told me.”

Heloise furrowed her brow. “So...this inheritance…?”

“Sole heir,” he replied. “My mother died.”

Heloise’s eyes flashed wide open. “Your mother?”

“I met her before she died,” he picked at his banh mi. “Twice,” his back went tense. “She was...not well but living,” he was trying to stay strong, but his breaking voice gave him away. “She lived alone here with only a nurse to take care of her. She looked me up I think because she knew her end was coming.”

Heloise was lost. She had no idea. “Did you...I mean, were you happy?”

“I was,” he whispers. I” understand her, why she left me, why she hid herself away. Not everyone can handle a curse, and she admitted that she couldn’t. She thought having me would solve it, that having a baby would end her curse and she could go on living like normal. It was just temporary. And when she realized what had happened, she knew she couldn’t take care of me. She told me that she wasn’t strong enough to love me.”

Heloise’s eyes went wide and watery, tears beginning to well up.

Ari smiled and rested his head on Heloise’s chest. “She said my father was some Unseelie from Japan. He found her attractive and one night was all he needed. One night was all she needed too. I was made from a selfish act not-”

Heloise squeezed her arms tight around him. “Ari,” she whimpered.

“It’s ok,” he murmured, “I know what you want to say.” He put his hand on her arm. “I told her about you,” he continued. “I told her that I wasn’t alone, that I wasn’t anything like her.” He looked into Heloise’s bright brown eyes, and he found the strength to smile. “I told her I had a friend in this world who meant more to me than myself. I told her how you helped me love myself.” He sniffled. “I was surprised when she said that was the first thing that made her happy in a long time.” He lifted himself back up and faced Heloise.

“We had planned to meet more after that, but she kept canceling and then-” he shrugged. “That was all I needed anyway. I got answers, and well, I have a place to start my new life.” He flourished his hand out.

Heloise sniffled and wiped at her eyes. “I’m glad, I suppose,” she looked back up at him. “Are you happy with how it turned out?”

He tilted his head, and his beautiful black hair fell into his face. “With my inheritance?” He asked.

Heloise shook her head. “Well, I mean...with the knowing?”

Ari chuckled, “I suppose. It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.” He kissed a tear rolling down Heloise’s cheek. “You’re not curious?”

“About?” Heloise pushed his hair from his face so she could see him.

“The Inheritance,” Ari says with a smirk.

Heloise frowned, looking at him confused. “Do you want me to know? I’m glad you have a home and some means. I’m happy for you.”

“I’m a rather wealthy man now,” Ari chuckled “You sure you don’t want to know the exact number? Don’t want to seduce me more to keep me?”

Heloise shoved him, getting angry. “If you think I care about such trite shit then you don’t really know me at all! I loved you when you had nothing, do you think it matters to me now?”

Ari’s teasing grin melted away, and he went stiff, a look of shock replacing his merry expression.

“What?” Heloise snapped, standing up off the bed.

Big tears started to fall from Ari’s eyes. “You love me?” His voice trembled.

“Of course I do-” Heloise then caught herself when she realized what she said.

Ari caught her before she could run away and change her mind, his arms wrapping around her and they fell onto the bed.

Heloise was holding her voice back, afraid to speak again. She laid there as Ari held his face to her shoulder. Only when she felt something damp did she speak. “Ari?” She put her hand on his shoulder and pushed him up. “Ari, look at me.”

He quickly wiped his eyes and chuckled, “I love you too, Heloise. I always have, from the moment I first saw you. I had no choice in the matter.”

“You took some getting used to,” she grumped. She touched his cheek and smiled awkwardly, smearing a tear across his cheek. “But yeah, there was no choice in the matter.”

Ari dipped down and kissed her, pressing close as Heloise’s hands tangled in his hair. Heloise gasped as she watched Ari’s skin shimmer in the dim light.

    “You’re so beautiful,” she whispered.

Ari smiled. “Not as beautiful as you.” He kissed down Heloise’s neck, enjoying the way her pulse fluttered against his lips. He opened the robe and lifted himself up to look down at Heloise’s exposed body. Her freckles trailed over her entire body. He traced his long fingers down her body, losing his breath for a moment.

“Don’t stare,” Heloise whimpered, pressing her cheek to her shoulder.

Ari kisses her neck again as his fingers slipped into the curls on her mound. “I can’t help it. It’s my favorite thing to look at.”

Heloise peeked back at him. “I want to look too.”

Ari chuckled. “I’m not much to look at.” His fingers slipped back up to her belly. “Not like you. Your thighs, your hips, your freckles, your lips. So many colors, such beautiful shapes.”

Heloise met his kiss, sighing softly. She pushed her hands up under his shirt, feeling his cool skin. His breath shuddered, and his lips parted from hers.

“No fair,” he strained to keep composure.

Heloise tugged up his shirt, planting kisses on his chest. Her warm tongue darted along his ribs, and Ari fell down onto the bed, squirming as Heloise took over.

    “Please, have mercy,” Ari mewled.

Heloise straddled his hips, placing her palm along the bulge in his pants. Her lips pursed as she felt it and she looked into Ari’s eyes. “You’re so sensitive.”

Ari had always been that way. He wore long sleeves even in summer, sometimes even gloves. A gentle touch could set him off, so Heloise had learned how to be around him without touching too much, even if Ari always touched her.

    “This is different,” Ari moaned.

Heloise kissed up his stomach and ribs. He was so thin and willowy, she felt like she could crush him, but Ari welcomed her weight on his whole body like a gift. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her with a desperate greed.

He rolled Heloise back onto the bed and tugged down his pants. Heloise whimpered when she felt his cock along her thigh.

    “It’s ok,” Ari whispered.

“It’s not that,” she said as she reached down. Her fingers brushed down the hood and then the shaft.

Ari’s skin shimmered again, and he let out a pained wail.

Heloise gasped, pulling her fingers back.

Ari’s face was changed, it looked sharper, more dangerous. He looked at her, his eyes completely black. Heloise gently touched his cheek, and he kissed her palm and wrist. Her took her thumb into his mouth, suckling it as she pressed it to his tongue.

“I want you, Ari,” Heloise whispered.

Ari’s sharp teeth bit down on her thumb, and he moved into place. Heloise's thighs parted for him, and her leg hooked around his. He watched intently as her folds rubbed to his shaft. Ari gasped, and Heloise’s thumb pressed to his tongue. Me moved his hips and slipped along Heloise’s slit. She was so wet and warm, he couldn’t believe it.

    “Ari,” Heloise mewled.

Ari reached down, pressing his tip to her entrance. He bit down on her thumb again as she slipped inside, she was so tight and hot, it was almost too much.

    “Anh-” he whined.

“It’s ok,” Heloise panted. Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were dreamy. His cock was long and curved just enough it hit against a spot inside that made her melt.

Ari started to move, his hips trembling as he did. He was overwhelmed by the sensations, all of them coming from his beloved Heloise. He looked into her eyes, gazing at her knitted brow and her teeth chomped down on her bottom lip. He started to move harder. He pushed all the way inside, and Heloise let out a cry. He pulled out and shoved in harder again watching Heloise’s expression melt. He snarled, moving faster and harder, shaking Heloise on the bed. He watched as her breasts sloshed and swayed. Her mouth hung open as she grunted and mewled.

Ari kisses her, biting her lip as he felt her inner walls tighten around him. They convulsed and squeezed, and he knew Heloise was in the throws of something good. Her eyes were rolled back, and her fingers were clawing into the sheets.

“Cum for me,” he snarled into her ear. “Yes, yes-” he started to grunt and snarl, grinding his teeth as he felt the heat and power overcome him.

He surged and stilled, Heloise’s arms locked around him and she gasped into his ear. “Oh my god,” Heloise whispered.

He snarled as he filled her, his cum flowing free into her warm cunt. Heloise mewled and panted, keeping her legs locked around him.

Ari’s skin was radiating a pure white glow now, and his hair had gone from black to white. Heloise kissed him, pulling him down to her breasts as he caught his breath.

He clung to her, feeling to need to stay grounded where he was. As the glow faded, his hair turned black again.

Ari sat up, looking over Heloise. He pet down her chest and slipped his fingers inside her. Heloise gasped, and she frowned up at him.

    “Sensitive,” she grumped.

Ari grinned. “I made a mess.”

Heloise closed her eyes. “It’s ok. It’s a good mess,” she grumped. “I like how it feels.”

Ari smirked and laid down beside her. “I love you,” he whispered. “More than anything. More than myself.”

Heloise sighed. “I love you too,” she kissed his neck and cheek. “I don’t want to love anyone else.”

Ari smiled at her. “You won’t have to.” He stroked her cheek. “This is all I’ve ever dreamed about,” he said. “When I was alone and scared I told myself, someday, I would find someone who I could share the world with. I knew it was you,” he rubbed his thumb across her lips. “That first day of school, when I saw you across the room. I saw that wild, uncombed hair and I knew you were the one.”

“We were kids then,” Heloise grumped.

    “But I knew,” Ari whispered.
