Unseelie Boyfriend Ari (special preview)

The other day I took two old OC I really love and gave them a new story and setting. I hope you like them so I can keep writing them.

Heloise scowled, embarrassed. “You’re far too sentimental,” she averted her eyes. “I’m just a person.”

Ari gave her an extra sharp squeeze then released her. “Before I tell you how wrong you are, let’s clean a little bit.”

Heloise huffed and pulled out her wand. “Where should I start?” She was used to doing major clean-ups. What with so many siblings her mother often did one or two a year, not to mention how many times they cleaned her father’s office along with doing renovations to it as well as her mother’s office. She and Ari hit the high spots, cleaning the living room, which was mainly stacks and old broken furniture. A lot of that they were able to get rid of, the room huge and empty by the time the were done.

After that they tackled the kitchen, which was surprisingly empty. The icebox seemed to have something living in it so they shut it up and took it outside and faced it into the woods. They then scrubbed out the old sink and the grimy tiles. The table was nice and when they moved some boxes they found there was a breakfast nook. They also discovered the stove still worked.

After a small break and eating a small meal they climbed upstairs to the loft which served as the bedroom. The A-frame of the room made the room big enough for just the large bed. The entire back wall was glass, and glowed with the color of the sunset.

“Oh wow,” Heloise murmured in awe. The bedroom had a different feel than the rest of the home. She felt at peace here, like she could stay forever. Then again, she was exhausted.

“I cleaned up here a bit already,” Ari said, motioning to the few boxes of his clothes and personal things pressed against the wall.
