More Intimate and Artistic Sights of Annie

What once existed only as a conversation finally became real through my lens.

那份曾停留在對話裡的可能性，終於成為我鏡頭中的現實。

The collaboration with Annie actually began years ago in conversation.
She first reached out to me on Instagram, asking if there might be a chance to shoot together. At the time, nothing moved forward—perhaps she wasn’t fully confident yet, or maybe she had some hesitation about how her image would be presented. Understandably, there’s still a quiet conservatism surrounding body expression in much of Asia.

This year, the opportunity finally arrived.
Our session became one of the most layered and expressive parts of the Simplicity series, and one of the images was even chosen as the cover for a rap album—an unexpected and fascinating crossover for me.

Although Annie still feels she could be more confident in front of the camera, I see her differently. Her refined physique and her distinct aura complement my visual language perfectly. The way light moves across her body creates an elegance grounded in honesty, and that’s what made this collaboration so memorable.

Perhaps this conclusion is not an ending but the beginning of something new.

這次與 Annie 的合作，其實早在幾年前就埋下了種子。
當時她在 IG 上主動與我聯繫，詢問是否有機會合作拍攝，但那時並沒有進一步的討論。或許是因為她對自己還缺乏一些自信，又或是對於作品的呈現還有顧慮，畢竟在亞洲文化裡，關於身體的表現總是比較保守。

直到今年，我們終於有機會正式合作。這次的拍攝不僅成為 Simplicity 系列中最具層次的一次嘗試，其中一張作品甚至被選為饒舌專輯的封面，對我來說也是一次非常新鮮又有趣的體驗。

雖然她仍覺得自己在自信與表現上有些不足，但在我眼裡，她經過鍛鍊的身體線條與她獨特的氣質，完美地融入了我的創作風格。光影在她身上流動時，呈現出一種優雅卻真實的張力，也讓這整個系列更顯完整。

或許未來我們還會有新的合作，這次的結尾，也可能只是下一次創作的開端。
