Today I want to share something rarely seen: the transformation between the raw and the imagined.
The original, unedited versions of this series were softer, flatter, and more grounded in reality. The colors were muted, the light neutral. They looked more like what the camera saw, but not what I saw in my mind.
Once I began adjusting tones and reshaping the light, the atmosphere changed. The dream appeared. The surreal feeling I was searching for began to emerge — that space between comfort and unease, where you know it isn’t real, but you’re already inside it.
I’m sharing both versions here, side by side, so you can feel how a photograph shifts. Not just technically, but emotionally.
This is how the dream takes form.
