Today I want to talk a bit about the importance of post-processing.
This image is from my latest photo set. In the original shot, there was a decorative curtain ceiling that made the space feel a bit too busy. During editing, I recropped the composition and shifted the overall tone toward something more vintage.
For me, post-processing isn’t about making things look prettier.
It’s about allowing the image to say what I truly want to express.
In the final version, I wanted it to feel like a quiet studio — the kind of space where you instinctively lower your voice. The presence of the girl feels like a thought left unspoken, something private and hard to define.
The color grading helped me lock that feeling into a specific sense of time.
It’s no longer just the moment I captured. It’s the way that moment lives in my mind.
Which version speaks to you more, the original or the final one? I’d love to hear your thoughts.ts.
