Room Monster Boyfriend Theo (special preview)

A few nights ago, you had him crawl up in bed with you to watch a scary movie. When Theo clung to you and hid his face on your shoulder, you found you really wanted to kiss him. It usually took a lot for you to want to be physical with someone, and now, you were having these feelings for Theo. You brushed it off  and stroked his fur to calm him down.

Valentines Day was coming up, so you stopped and got Theo a heart box of chocolate one day while running errands. When you got home you laid the bags on the table.

“Theo, I’m back,” you call out as you put food into the fridge.

“Safe trip?” Theo asks as he steps into the kitchen. His horn hit against the doorframe so he ducks down.

You hand him up the heart box. “I’m back aren’t I?”

Theo takes the box and looks it over. “What’s this?” He asks.

“Valentines Day chocolate,” you tell him. “I just thought it was cute.”

Theo has peeled open the box and is already sampling the candy inside. “What’s that?” He asks you.

“Valentines Day?” You sit down to take your shoes off. “It’s just a cutesie little holiday. Nothing too big.”

“It has its own candy,” Theo says as caramel strings between his teeth. “It must be special if that’s the case.”

You chuckle and look up at him. “It’s a more romantic holiday,” you say. “For like, couples and stuff.”

Theo licks his chops and looks down at you. “And?”

“And?” You laugh. “It’s kind of a bummer if you have no one to celebrate it with,” you reply.

Theo kneels down. “You have me, right?”

You look into his striking blue eyes and that desire to kiss him resurfaces. You take a steadying breath and smile at him. “I suppose I do.”

Theo reaches out, touching your cheek and brushing a loose curl from your face. “You do,” he murmurs. “And, I would like to be romantic on Valentine’s Day.”

Your face starts to burn and you giggle. “Would you really?”

Theo leans in, brushing his lips against yours. Its tentative, but you close the gap. You kiss him, pulling him in close and moaning softly.
