Proof of Life #257: The gifs are spoilers for the upcoming spicy scenes!
Added 2025-01-20 21:04:51 +0000 UTCHello gentlemen and damsels, how are you faring in this exquisite morning/afternoon/evening? The world is a weird place, and I’m here to make it better with a totally normal PoL post and some spoilers/hints for the upcoming scenes.
I’ve been spending around half of last week working on the Steam version of HC3. That mostly meant reworking the prologue and some of its scenes/freeroam events. I’m now just waiting on a few commissions to implement and I can finally send HC3 for review. The Steam team might not give it the greenlight though, so if they don’t, no Steam version. I’ll keep you updated.
Because of that, I haven’t been able to put as much work as usual into the new update. Still, a lot has been done, including two mini-scenes/freeroams for Haylen and Lily, and 2 new maps added into the game, as well as some story progression. We’re getting very close to the first scene, and then the other 2 will happen in relatively close succession, unless I come up with some new stuff.
In the gifs above, you can see one animation for Rose’s first scene and Cyanna’s first scene (2nd scene of the new update). As you can see, especially for Rose, I’m experimenting with new stuff. She needs to let loose once in a while, doesn’t she? As for Cyanna, it’s nothing groundbreaking, although the animations will follow a particular pattern. Please let me know if you find that posting gifs like that is too spoiler-y and I should just keep to posting still images, or if you don’t mind.
I’ll go back to development now. There’s still a lot to be done. I’ll see you again next Monday!

2025-01-21 20:12:19 +0000 UTCI couldn't really say why they're better, because I don't really assign one character to one artist, and I switch the commissions around based on who's available. If I had to take a guess, maybe it's the character design? Longer hair, bigger breasts, it makes it more difficult to animate, but it stands out more when it's well done. Her outfit with the shorter skirt makes it easier to get outfit variations (with or without skirt, with or without shirt, etc...) for different animations than for Rose and Haylen who both have/had a long one-piece dress/robe. I think Lily also has some potential with her long hair and civilian outfit.

2025-01-21 19:36:19 +0000 UTCI don't necessarily care for girl on girl action that much, especially when one is dominating the other, but i'm already sold on the next Update because of this one Cyanna animation alone. I noticed it in Update17 as well, but this PoL has solified it for me, Cyanna's scenes are second to none compared to the other 3 girls, when it comes to custom animations that is. Although it's mostly noticable with Rose only, cause Haylen shares quite a few animations with Cyanna because they have the same body type, and because Lily has barely gotten any sex scenes so far so there's not much i can compare when it comes to her, but my statement stands, if Cyanna's scenes are a 10/10, then the second best is only a 7/10.

I'd like to see more gifs in the future, obviously not every week but a tease of the animation once per game update sounds like a good amount to me.
