Proof of Life #188: Things go wrong, again! (story-wise, development is fine)
Added 2023-07-31 20:43:58 +0000 UTCHeya people from all over the world, how is your morning/afternoon/evening going, mah dudes? Nothing but good vibes here, although development is going slightly slower than I expected, but that's pretty much a feeling I have all the time.
In this PoL's pic, you get a sneak peek of the new map during night time, as well as some silhouette action with random NPCs. Once again, I'm trying to make the most of having a map with tents by adding silhouettes and such whenever I can. Of course, there's much more going on, but let's not spoil the fun.
As always, things don't go the way our characters may have wanted, and more corruption ensues. They can't catch a break, can they? But hey, that's why we're here. I still don't know how far I'll be able to go in terms of story progression, but I'll go as far as I can within the time I have at hand.
By the way, Cyanna and Rose have both seen their pictures in the character screen updated. I think it'll soon be time to move to a whole new outfit, but that'll be for the future. In addition to tons of new custom animations for the characters, there'll also be quite a lot of custom sprites meant for the story, as well as some of the ghosts of Ulrod's past coming back to haunt him.

2023-08-01 16:25:50 +0000 UTCActually, Rose also got something in the past month, but there was a slight emphasis on Cyanna this time as well, because I need them to go on a mission out in the countryside and it's not like they can take Rose along^^ But don't worry, if Rose gets less this Update, then she'll be getting more in the near future. Same for the side characters, there might not have been much for them lately but there'll be more soon enough.

2023-08-01 10:22:22 +0000 UTCFor now, it's just slight changes to their clothes to reflect them getting progressively lewder, but we'll eventually get to the new outfits and new full-size portraits with them. Well, if you think about it, aren't all humans some kind of four-legged animals when they're down on all four?^^ Jokes aside, sometimes it can be hard to make out what's really going on, especially with small-sized pixel sprites. In this case, the woman in question happens to have a very "fluffy" haircut which makes the silhouette slightly more confusing.

As for Eddie and Alys, we're not quite at the phase where they start corrupting people around them, because I want to wait a little bit on Cyanna's corruption to catch up before they start getting really on board with doing sexual stuff themselves.

2023-08-01 10:17:32 +0000 UTCI noticed how the PoL's so far for this Update only mentioned Cyanna and some extra characters like Alys and Eddie, did you work on Rose and just not mention it or will you start working on her story once you're completly done with Cyanna's part ? I just realised that if you weren't moving next month and things would go at the same pace as before then this Update would be released sometime this week, which would also mean that if you indeed only worked on Cyanna then she's got and entire Update's worth of content already, Cyanna fans are gonna eat good when this gets released.

2023-07-31 23:22:55 +0000 UTCI really like how you make use of the silhouettes for freeroam events both in tents and building, I think it makes the NTR experience feel a little more inverse. I hope you keep up the good work. I also have to say that I really like the events that take place in a military camp, in a way it's because Alys and Eddie are two of my favorite characters, and because I like the idea of them corrupting all the female soldiers
