Cool idea
Added 2017-12-07 21:50:14 +0000 UTCWith the changes to their payment system patreon basically made the per-content campaign that I run untenable, this means once i start drawing again I will have to switch to a monthly model.
But here's the cool idea, how about instead of that I charge every two months or maybe every three months instead?
So you could give 2$ or 3$ or whatever you choose, and pay the new fee only once in that timespan!
Anyway, more on patreon, my injury and other stuff tomorrow-ish.
No hard feelings if you have to cancel your pledges, just subscribe to my rss feed if you do. :')

If nothing else, MakerSupport giving Patreon competition is a great thing. Pixiv and another Japanese company also launched Patreon clones, too.

2017-12-09 22:31:11 +0000 UTCHmm. A valid point. But please send me your PayPal address in a message, and I'll add it to my new PayPal list - I'll be doing these as "gifts to friends" since they aren't payments for goods or services, so there won't be anything for PayPal to see to complain about.

2017-12-09 19:31:34 +0000 UTCI had noticed you'd removed the PayPal link from your site - have you considered PayPal Donations? I hear the fees are less than Patreon charges. Or Hatreon, www.hatreon.us, it's like Patreon but the name is a jab at Patreons political censorship (both left and right).
