What type of merchandise would you like to see be made for here? For those going to Anthrocon, what sorta things would you like to get a hold of?

2017-12-31 17:41:29 +0000 UTCCurrently I'm working on having the older books collected, BUT, since that's talking so long, I'm also think of uploading scans for the comics for here. Least the black and white pages since we plan to release the collecteds in color.

2017-12-31 17:40:03 +0000 UTCI really enjoy your comics, but I get lost when I try to follow the storylines. Maybe some sort of official chronology would help? Even having something that lists in one place where all of the various comics can be read (if they're available) would be great.

I mean with the "Trackers" you have made it clear that a relationship, OTHER then "do what your told filthy animal" CAN exist. i KNOW YOUR TRYING TO KEEP THIS TO A MORE...ER...general audience, but when we used to discuss ergonomics back in the 1970's (yes I am THAT old) when you have fur, clothes WOULD tend to be counter to good grooming, musses and tangles fur, wears down to the skin etc. So how DO humanials coexist... Are they kept on leashes....You reference Micro as a "tech mouse" I would be disappointed to see that the entire Human Kind were the stereotypical "Do what you're TOLD beast!" Also, I actually had a conversation with the Author, Ben Bova,...again I am not trying to take this to PORN....however if we ever developed a partner (such as a Vixen) who could inter act intellectually....AND have near Zero possibility of pregnancy...People might gravitate AWAY from long term relationships with their own kind, in favor of a relationship with an "intelligent pet" Now this could range from a PET like mutual satisfaction, where the humanial,by virtue of having been raised in an open society, does not view this as a violation, to a captive breeding program wich would be seen (At least by Humanimals) as slavery in it' s most vile form.... What else would I like to see... Humainamal "Nun" (like Maxwell's mother...Persia?) coming face to face with a Human priest....what an INTERESTING development...I can imagine Humaniamls arguing "you are NOT makers..you PRAY to your OWN Deity" to the humans who point to their scriptures that "God made all the creatures of the earth and gave MAN dominion over them...ergo you BELONG to us" Would a Priest have a Humanimal Avian Cardinal,as a deacon? :) ) Other things I want to see...what about Human Animal rights groups? (Like PETA in reallife) Maybe some makers want to place THEMSELVES in the service of Humaniamls.... (as slaves, as pets, as companions) How would say....Phenix react to a Human who was cos-playing AS her? Scarlet? :) ... so there are some more...productive? Ideas....

Weather I am poor at expressing myself, or people tend to see what stirs their emotions most, I worry the conversation will devolve down into "He said she said." So lets pick apart what we said....as you bring up some interesting points.... You mentioned You do not see the "Happy Happy Joy Joy" portion. I know I am going to upset some people but lets look at that.... I am NOT saying that the "bad guys" have not met with some success. But let us examine may people favorite character....Artica. In Artic Blue, that male Kitsune, Malice, had this INCREDIBLElY sexy vixen believing she was in the arms of the ONE Todd she wanted more than anything...and what does this Teenage MALE Kitsune do in the presence of ALL his allies? He only HALF drains her, throws her off a building (she lived) and awakens to her mother, whom she thought LOST on Alopex Space station (that was a happy if improbable occurrence) I get it EL did NOT want to show a rape, and especially NOT a first time for Artica...but...felt contrived... Lets talk about blowing up Alopex....Wow, Red, Artica, and some others go thru a time portal...and it appears Alopex...is NOT blown up...Yet.... You mention Ceecee and Wallace...well they WERE part of a "captive breeding program (awesome Idea by the way) but they Escaped (awwwww crud :( ) Wallace takes a direct hit to his chest....but doesn't die...they have a chance to get back together (not to mention it is hinted that the Ceecee Wallace relationship MAY be normal for mustlids" You mentioned they captured Phenix....oh but she got away.... Xenif took over Eden...oh but he was driven out, Malestrom captured his brother, but he was released, Lobo and Jerren got in a feud, but Jerren won, Profit was captured by Pharobus, but it turns out she WANTED to be captured. Xenif merged with Phenix...but she escaped. Zora captured the Androzons, and Micor, they escaped...President Equinus Captured the Solar fox yes, but sent them on a mission back in time, It seems the ONLY defeat that remains unchanged are the gruesome murders of Tarens, and of Umnus' mate. (so far) . I am NOT saying the story is bad, I am NOT trying to be critical...but an old saying among comic book fans is..."At Marvel we know the pearly gates are ACTUALLY, a revolving door" Now the ONLY point I am trying to make is, all the examples I stated (and YOU stated) show a repeating sequence of extremes. violent death, followed by some form of redemption. It was like "Cattle Car Galactica" how many times (overwhelming odds) can a SINGLE battlestar, pull off a MIRACLE, and escape entire FLEETS? so...why NOT see Phenix spend some time as a Tracker..heck if I had my way the Makers would get BOTH Phenix AND Xenif, and make them trackers (at least for a while) what about Humnimals like Copy Cat's Mother, who revere Makers...why not have a cult that WANTS to be Tracker / pets... something that is moderate and something that shows...YES, the Makers ARE a threat and they CAN win...without just killing everything they see? Am I making any sense? or did I just muck things up more?

2017-12-29 07:01:32 +0000 UTCWell as far as physical stuff, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the Extinctioners artbook that you've been working on. :) Story wise, I'd like to see art or comics relating to the Andorozon side of things, giving us more information on what an Andorozon is and the state of affairs around them (Introduction of John, some highlights on Takemitsu/Akema/Akera) . Stuff focusing on relatively overlooked characters and events such as Satoru and Usagi, Ceecee and the Ottersons, more depictions of life on Eden before its destruction, really stuff in the realms of which we haven't seen before and further expanding the Extinctioners universe ^^

2017-12-29 06:18:10 +0000 UTCI don't see how the stories have been this "happy hyappy joy joy" no-lose scenario with the protagonists as you see it. The Extinctioners have always had things going ill for them before, during, and after they became a team. Sure, they've had victories, but its always been through trial-and-error (they were pretty roughed up when they tried to raid Mahn's slave camp and their first visit to the Garden didn't go very well either), and they usually end with some crippling consequences: CeeCee and Wallice's relationship in tatters, The Solar Foxes being apprehended by the government and split from the group, the destruction of Alopex to name a few, along with the examples you've listed above. Yes, the antagonists have inflicted some really harsh wounds on the characters, but its what amps up the stakes, showing the villains are a formidable foe, one that would stoop to anything in order to win; And frankly, Mahn's forces are incredibly overpowering, and if subduing and capturing Phenix, destroying an entire orbital space station, wiping out an ENTIRE species by flooding their planet are any indication, dire times are constantly loom over Alden, even without wild-cards like Xenif running around. Yet, even with these harsh outcomes, it further builds the characters, making them stronger, and their slow but steady victories all the more satisfying; Even in the face overwhelming odds, and their own inner anguish, they are still able to pull through in some way. That's what really sells these comics for me: The stakes are incredibly high, the characters are rich and relateable, and their world, as bleak as it can be, feels real and you actually feel for the characters, 'good' or 'bad', and their plight.

I don't think anyone (myself included) want to see the "Bad guys" win permanently...but if it is a creative approach, then the win should not be reversed in like 3 issues.... Not sure how to explain without typing 7 or 8 paragraphs...But you do come up with some nice HINTS...everything from "Animals do not WEAR clothes" to Lords Malestorm. Now THERE is an idea, why not have Lord Malestrom actually defeat and enthrall his brother...Doesn't have to be forever but could be for a good chunk of time....and not just have him locked in a Dungeon...I would imagine Malestrom would want his brother as a squire...I dunno I am prob talking silly...Trying not to think purely in adult terms...

One the one hand, it is afterall a story about the protagonist so they eventually have to get out of situations to some extent or it's going to be a very short story for many of them.

Every story you have made, shows a Happy Happy Joy Joy, Extinctioners NEVER lose...and when they DO seem to lose...it is in the most gruesome ugly unappealing way. (Shadow cat's brother, burned and dying, Xenif slaughtering one of Umnus's mates, All manner of android killing Humaniamls.... What *I* would like to see, are some losses dealt to the good guys, that doesn't involve death... Takematsue, perhaps actually enthralled by Zora, The Fela's or even Phenix actually made into trackers... heck even Zora managing to reprogram (on a longer term) the Androzons... you are so expert at TEASING...would be nice to see the bad guys actually pull off a plan? (Remember Rule #5 of Id I were an evil overlord, I would tell my plan to the average 5 year old, and if he saw problems they would be fixed before implementing) You asked...thats me, I know I am weird
