Community Discussion: My favorite character is & Why.

When it come to the ladies, Scarlet all the way. Not saying I don't like any others. Artica is very lovely and a great character. I just prefer the strong and independent, yet devoted and passionate, vixen that is Scarlet Starfox. As tough as she is due to her power and the way she acts, she has that softer side that really shines when she's with those who she cares for most. She's true to who she is and loyal to all those close to her, even if she does fight with Artica over Red at times. While I know she could carry on if she lost Red to another, I hope she doesn't have to. Honestly, I'd like to know more about how she is dealing with the fact that her pre-mate and baby sister are somewhere out there where she has no idea what is happening to them.

I have two actually. One is Micro/Jacob. He can be the one of the more powerful Extinctioners but he chooses a more peaceful softer route. Why I think he will be a great dad with the two little ones on the way. Just a cute character. Walice. Probably the only one who will say this. I have a soft spot for the rebel/hothead and really do want these characters fleshed out more to know why they are like they way they are as well as if they redeemed. If they are redeemed in some way; will they slip back into their old ways. Just a very complicated character to deal with both for the creator and the characters around him. One hopes a hole blown through his stomach helps him on his way to recovery.

i would have to say my favorite is Pandora Lee. the reason being her design as well as her personality. she seems like the person that genuinely cares for her friends and would be willing to tell them the truth, even if the truth might not be the thing one wants to hear. I see this with how close she is with Cee Cee and how she reacts to the other teammates. Plus she has gorgeous eyes and a kind and beautiful smile.

Super huge fan of CeeCee. She has an incredibly strong will, to be able to raise billy, keep him safe, save the world and deal with Wallace and his coma.

My all-time favorite is Umnus. Not only is he a uniquely designed species in the universe, but he's also (so far) the only male left of his race and I always liked how he is this one species that doesn't quite fit in this wild and chaotic world, far away from his lost home planet (Its what also helps him fit into the Extinxtioners). He is very kind, has an honor code as a warrior, and is VERY handsome at that. Still hoping he finds a mate of his own, and somehow manages to restore the Remalons somehow.

After some thought and deliberation over several different characters, I have to say Artica. She's confident, but not without some bravado masking over insecurities, and even when she tries her hardest sometimes things don't work out - sometimes because her help didn't actually *help,* sometimes it isn't her fault, but she beats herself up over it anyway, something I can relate to quite well. When she isn't down she's bright, friendly, keeps trying even after failure, witty, uses ice puns unironically, and generally seems like she's having fun just being alive and in the world. In that way, I find her to be a model of the kind of person I'd like to *be,* beyond even relating to the person I *am.* So thanks for creating Artica, who is, if not quite a kindred spirit, then someone I feel kinship with in an odd way. ^^ ((Honorable Mentions go to Scarlet, who is super badass as being so very un-fox-like in her typical attitudes and for being the "strongman" type of comics character as a woman. Also an HM to Walice, who's struggle with temper and overcoming his upbringing I also identify closely with, though without the physical abuse part. ))

Personnally Artica is my favourite. Her impossible love for Red gives the character an emotional depth and makes her relatable. Arctic Blue did a lot to explore her motivations and her feelings. About her design it is both simple and foxy, she isn't shy about teasing, is quite confident while suffering chronic bad luck with her dates all the while being a total badass in fights. She is both sad, funny and awesome and that makes her a great character.

I would like to start out, by "splitting my Ticket" Male and Female... For the Male...My vote goes for Maelstrom, the dark unicorn. Not only is he drawn in a manner that would make even a Heterosexual like me look twice, that unicorn KNOWS how to Accessorize. More to the point though, it is nice to see both a Prey species and a mythical good character be evil. He is Mysterious (Go figure as he is not well developed, YET) but cunning and stood up to Xenif (even if it was for his own enlightened self interest). The "dark" characters are always the most fun and interesting On the Female side, it is Artica hands down, I like how Sassy Artica is, and I am not sure the Politically correct term, but Artica strikes me as one of them ....African American? Girls who has an attitude I just LOVE. The tail is not so bad either, but her personality is once I would like to relate to. I would not mind commissioning Phenix (in her LaPur form) to make me an outfit that matched Artica's fur pattern...wonder what she'd say seeing a maker dressed like THAT?
