WIP

I didn't want to post anything until I was in the "picking swatches" phase, but after three days of culling colors I've gone from over 100 swatches down to 55 😩

I thought this project was going to be a fairly straight-forward procedure of putting my old B2B tops on my Basic Luxe counter bases, but of course I overcomplicated things by noticing some small issues with the original B2B mesh and essentially re-mapping the UVs for a bunch of parts.

September 2023 Update

Hiya! My August hiatus was very nice, I spent a lot of time catching up on some much-anticipated video games! Aaand then at the start of September I finally caught covid for the first time, hahaha.

I'm doing okay now, but I wanted to apologize for not saying anything sooner. I don't really have a good estimate on when I'm even going to be ready to work on my WIPs, and I know I've missed quite a few TS4 updates so I need to catch up on that, too.

August Hiatus

Shirt WIP

I've been struggling with making the armpits of this shirt less janky, re-doing the weights, vertex paint, double-checking the uv_1, and it wasn't until I ran it through TS4 CAS Tools that I got any kind of improvement. I don't know what witchcraft CAS Tools is doing, but I won't question it, haha (images are before/after CAS Tools)

I'm a little conflicted about accepting this mesh the way it is, but I think it'd be a better use of my time to accept it and start working on the other LOD...

Pemberfield Walls

This set comes in three pattern variations in both Crown Molding (CM) and Paneling versions, for a total of six packages. Hopefully the preview images make sense, but the three variations are:

Hong Chau Dress

I really liked the dress Hong Chau's character in The Menu wore, so I decided to try making something inspired by it! I went with slimmer sleeves, because I thought that would be less complicated on a technical level, and more useful for broader styling.

A Touch of Deco Wall (BGC)

So there's this HSY wall in the masonry category, and it's in a some sandstone-colored swatches but the texture also looks a bit like wood??

Post Move-In Update

Hey all! So, last week I finished moving in ("finished" as in 80% done, just need to grab some smaller, less essential bits and bobs now).

Unfortunately, the day after I got my computer all set up, the SSD died and I had to take it in and spend days not knowing if I had just lost all my data.

Thankfully I pretty much only had the operating system installed on the SSD, and the hard drive is fully intact, so I didn't lose everything but I do now have to rebulid the architecture and ...

Small Life Update

Hey all! Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be moving apartments over the next few weeks. Because of scheduling difficulties it's going to be a slow move, so I don't really know when I'll be set up to work on cc again.

That said, I know we're all kind of expecting a modpocalypse when the new EP drops. I don't think anything I've made should be affected, but if for some reason there are any issues, I won't be able to address them immediately.

Basic Luxe Kitchen
