Those drawings brought back all my Heidi's memories ๐คฃ I'm amazed I've never seen it, I wonder if they showed it in Venezuela ๐ค Hahaha my mom was the same, with the excuse of "showing the kids cartoons" she was a big fan of Anime, Heidi, Candy Candy, My little Pony, the football one with Oliver, etc. I always say Dragon Ball/Digimon/Pokemon were my first anime, but basically because the old school ones basically ran along side Looney tunes, Tom & Jerry, etc in Latinoamericana, just part of the saturday morning culture for so long right? ๐
2022-10-01 23:01:28 +0000 UTCThat doggy reminded me instantly of an old anime I watched as a child, I must have been less than four years old or even younger, its intro song always stuck with me and when I found it online a few years ago it brought back a lot of memories, a lot of nostalgia. The anime was called Belle y Sebastian in Mexico, I don't know if they ran it in the US. It was based on a 13 episode French TV show of the 60s, and that was made into a book, and from that they made the anime that lasted over 50 episodes ๐ ! "Remi, el niรฑo de nadie, (my mom used to watch it with me when I was born, she loved anime/cartoons), "Heidi" and "Belle y Sebastian" were probably my first 3 animes, and their intro songs were too iconic. The dog is exactly like the one in this episode, and in the first episode, not even a minute into it, Belle saves a child like the dog did here.
